Hotels near Shanshui Beach, Penghu

Good home stay owner. Before check in, he called if we have transport to the residence to check in and offer a ride for check in. During the check in, he patiently introduce Peng Hu and some tips on the trip. The home stay was clean as the residence is newly established. Amenities such as aircon, heater, automatic toilet and TV is in good condition. The location gives a holiday vibe, away from noisy cities. Good for vacation and relax your trip. During check out, the owner kindly offer to sent us to the airport. Overall good experience! Can see Penghu is developing and likely will improve their public transportation such as bus in the future.

The Discovery is a great hotel for business travelers. The location is close to shops, convenience stores, and is a part of the mall. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will be staying there again if I return. I did not have the opportunity to try the different facilities they offer, so I cannot speak to their quality.

Highly recommended~ The boss and his wife are super nice, very polite and nice~ The overall environment and location of the B&B are good. The decoration and indoor furniture are very tasteful. The room is specially made with high ceilings, which is not available in ordinary B&Bs. The environment is clean and the decoration is new ～The experience is over 100 points🥳💯💯🎉🎉 (Ps: A little aside ~ I am very grateful to the boss lady and her husband for helping me find my lost earrings and sending them back to Magong city for me. trip. com's map display was wrong, I thought it was in the city, but when I looked up the address, it was Sansui-ri. It takes 15-20 minutes from Sanshui to the city by motorbike, but it's a quiet place, about 5 minutes by motorbike to the tourist attraction beach, and it's far from the city, but overall it was good. You can have free refills on breakfast drinks. Friendly staff, free parking, recommended for family trips

Convenient location, within walking distance for shopping in the city center. Parking is available nearby. Sea view from the window. High value for money.

The location is convenient, and this stay included a free airport pickup, which was great. The driver was very friendly. There's a bus terminal right downstairs, so even if you don't rent a car, you can take the airport shuttle to Penghu Airport, which is super convenient.

This hotel is not super good. It is very clean and hygienic. It is nice. It also has a bathtub. You can take a bath and feel very relaxed. It is also close to the station. It is very convenient to get in and out. The service staff at the counter are very good. The transportation is good and delicious. , it’s just one or two steps away but there is no free breakfast. Fortunately, there is McDonald’s and the whole family. I will stay in this hotel again next time I come. It is also very close to the County Government Square. I went to attend the New Year’s Eve party last night. , it’s really a worthwhile trip,

The place was immaculate. For the most part, the experience was terrific. What follows are minor issues. There was a slight issue with the water heater, which resolved itself after a short time. Fortunately, the weather was warm, so it wasn't a serious issue. The breakfast was simple, basically a large sandwich, rather than the continental-style breakfasts that people might expect. The rooms were accessed by stairs, so I doubt they are wheelchair accessible. Wifi was excellent, although one had to find the password at the front desk, or on the router itself (just an oversight in me not asking for it, I'm sure). Finding this B&B among all the other B&Bs in the area is tricky; the cab driver had to call the owner to find it. Google Maps is very useful, especially with all the unnamed streets in the area. The facility is located next to National Penghu University of Science and Technology.

The cleanliness of the room is okay. The location is a bit far from the bus stop that can go to Mahgong Main Bus Station. You have to walk to YangMing station around 8-10mins. For those who carry heavy and big luggage, be prepared as the airport shuttle bus will only stop at International Plaza (Fupeng Sheraton Hotel) and you have to carry those luggages to walk around 1km to reach here. This homestay adopts self check in policy. You have to contact the owner to retrieve the info of your room. The phone number display on Trip.com cannot be reached and you have to search on Google to get their phone number. It’s better for you to contact them via Line as they don’t have reception counter. They will never respond on Trip.com so don’t waste your time to contact them via Trip.com.

Really cozy hostel, not for socializing but for your own personal space. Of course as others mention the location is great, only about a 5 minute walk from the port. The manager was quite helpful with me getting in touch with some local scooter rentals nearby. Very accommodating, would return!
