Hotels near Taitung County Stadium, Taitung

Fantastic hostel, with a really friendly team who are great at giving tips on what to do and eat in the area (even if you are vegan like me!). The hostel is clean and the facilities are modern. It’s located very close to the train station for taking the train or bus to nearby attractions. And for getting into Taitung City you can rent a bike for free from the hostel

Due to some traffic reasons, we reached there pretty late around 930pm. The owner called us to check if we need any help, and patiently waited until we reach there, explain the house and rules. Really cozy and quiet environments, the facilities are absurd! 1000% worth the price. My floor is the lowest one, and it’s super clean. Highly recommended. Only cons is that you’d have to walk a little bit from the train station here (or you can just grab a cab for just little bit money though).

Taitung is a small town. And so this hotel is pretty much in the “center”  Across the street is a convenience store opening 24 hours. Nearby is a cinema. There are some small shops and bars nearby. If you crave a burger - Burger King is a 10-min walk away.  As for the hotel - it’s got a lot of what business travelers need. 24 hour laundry machines and dryer. It’s got a small gym with treadmill, elliptical, indoor bike and a small weight rack with a bench. The television channels are not very international - with all of the news channels only coming from Taiwan.  My room was clean, and there is a separate shower and toilet area - convenient for couples staying together. Bed is decent, clean and I would say that the room can get quite hot if you don’t turn on the AC. At the evenings, I was awaken a few times from the warmth in the room despite having the AC on. (To be fair - it was 32 degrees Celsius outdoors) Breakfast is very plentiful. From cooked Chinese dishes to simple western breakfast choices like eggs, toast and fruits. Salads are always available and the coffee machine is self serve. (I wasn’t able to find a good Long Black anywhere in this town)  From the hotel to the Taitung train station is about 15mins by taxi. Use Line Go to reserve as it is most convenient. Surprisingly, even during 8:00am on a weekday, getting a cab on this App was easy.  Hope this helps if you have to go to Taitung

Location close to dive spots but not super accessible if you don’t have your own transportation. It’s a 15-20mins ride from the pier and 5-7mins from the food street. It’s probably one of the biggest minsu around the area with both private, shared and glamping options. Communication was easy with the minsu on LINE and we made prior arrangements for transportation and luggage transfer early on. They can also help book ferry and other activities for you. We enjoyed the shared spaces and there’s a fridge you can store your food in the common area. While there’s no gym, we appreciated that there were some free weights in the kitchen area - abit awkward working out with everyone looking but it’s definitely better than nothing. Made for a good workout after our half day dives. Also, they allowed us to come back to shower after check out which was a huge huge plus. Only small complaint was that we wished we had more bath and toilet towels because they didn’t dry easy.

This was my second stay here, and both times the check-in process was very smooth and quiet. The only minor issue is that the soundproofing of the doors isn't the best; if you have your phone volume on full blast in the room, people outside can hear it at about half volume. However, everyone seems to be considerate and keeps noise levels down, so I never heard any sounds from other guests during my stay. This means if everyone respects the quiet, you'll have a fantastic experience. I've stayed twice and never been bothered by noise. Even when the cleaning staff were working in the morning, the noise was minimal, just a slight rustle. Overall, it's virtually silent.

This resort is very outdated. Needs a major upgrade. It has old resort smell and the bathroom of the room we had stayed we’re not clean and needed repairs done. The spa was okay and it was weird to have residential building nearby to look over the spa swimming pool. The facility looks old and empty. There are residential buildings around but no restaurants nor eatery nearby, only one 7-11. However, the staffs were wonderful, and we appreciate their help working with us to accommodate our request.

The cat is adorable and enjoys friendly interactions with visitors. It appears that the room lacks soundproofing. Due to ongoing construction in the neighboring building, some noise may be audible. The electric mirror in the bathroom is impressive as it remains warm and prevents water condensation. However, the bathroom fan is a bit noisy, and the hair dryer produces a strong gust of wind. Additionally, the internet password in the room is not easily discernible.

From the moment I arrived, this accommodation exuded comfort. The booking process was straightforward, and my inquiries were answered promptly and kindly. The meticulous attention to detail, from check-in to check-out, and the respect for the guests' time, was truly impressive. The surrounding scenery and air were incredibly clear and refreshing. Thanks to this, even a morning stroll felt incredibly healing. The breakfast was also excellent value for money and very satisfying. The cleanliness was impeccably maintained, making for a worry-free stay. This wasn't just a place to sleep; it was an accommodation that made the entire trip a joyful experience. If I visit this area again, I wouldn't hesitate to choose it once more.

The editor's online conversation was very enthusiastic and sincere, but the male employee who received us on site had a blank expression 🫥 and no emotional introduction. I thought I was still in Taipei, but we asked enthusiastically and excitedly. Other than that, the overall environment was generally good. If you are afraid of noise, please be careful. The train is right next to you and will still come in and stop very late, and the sound will be amplified.

I had booked a room in the “hostel” section, but it’s actually more of a hotel pretending to also be a hostel. The cleanliness in the room left much to be desired (from what i could see the window sill is clearly never cleaned, hair on the clean sheets, etc.). On top of that, the lockers are fake in the sense that they don’t lock, so they’re basically just cupboards that anyone can open. As for the bathroom, some of the shower doors are broken and were literally left abandoned inside the shower. What was my surprise to see that there were cockroaches ?? The next day, I came back to the room to take a shower and there was no electricity in the bathroom anymore. I asked for compensation because the price I paid was completely disproportionate to the state of the facilities. The receptionist was friendly and offered to move me to a private room (in the hotel section), but the problems continued: when I opened the bathroom door, I once again found cockroaches. Moreover, the humidity doesn’t seem to evacuate properly, and there’s a nauseating smell inside. The lock on the door leading from the room to the hallway doesn’t work. The finishing of the construction work is terrible, nothing is right. In short, my advice is : do not come to this hotel.
