It is conveniently situated near many of Cologne’s popular tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot or by public transportation. Overall, Urban Loft Cologne offers excellent service, clean accommodations, and a fantastic location. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cologne and would happily stay here again."

"A wonderful hotel! It has a very romantic and atmospheric character, and the building itself is full of charm. The young staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. The location is priceless. You are right in the heart of everything, with major attractions, restaurants, supermarkets, a gas station, and a convenience store all within walking distance. The most unforgettable feature of the hotel is the breathtaking view of the cathedral from your room. Waking up to that view is truly special. Cologne may well be the most beautiful city in Germany. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of delicious options. This hotel will make you happy in every way. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it."

"I remember during previous Cologne trade fairs, it was almost impossible to find a hotel room. This year, I was surprised to find plenty of options even as the fair approached, and the prices were actually quite reasonable. This hotel didn't have the highest ratings, but upon checking in, I discovered the room was incredibly spacious. Apart from the lack of air conditioning, there really weren't any other downsides. The bathroom was also huge, with double sinks. On my first day, I walked about 850 meters from Cologne Central Station to the hotel. The next day, I realized there was a light rail station just a hundred or two hundred meters away, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The subway station was a bit further, about a 350-meter walk. There are plenty of great dining options nearby, including a Chinese restaurant right around the corner, which offered excellent value for money."

"This hotel is really good. Maybe it's because the hotels I stayed at in Paris were too small, but arriving in Germany, this hotel was spacious and very clean. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. The breakfast was also decent, and the staff always gave me bottled mineral water. The owner seems to be Chinese and was very friendly. It was a really great experience, and I'd recommend it to my friends."

"Hotel location is good about 10 to 15 min walk from Köln Hbf station on mostly flat ground. Room was spacious with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and body lotion provided. Tea & coffee and kettle also provided. But only 1carton (500ml) of water provided daily for two people which I feel was too little and no fridge in the room. Also bed and pillow was too soft with no support for neck and back.. Overall stay was pleasant"

"The location is OK, not far from the church, but it's still a bit tiring to walk with luggage. The room is small, but it has everything, it's good, it feels like a dream back to Paris. The room is much smaller than when I was in Paris, the breakfast is OK"

"Facilities: The room facilities are relatively new and include an electric kettle. Hygiene: The hygiene is good. Environment: The overall environment is excellent. It's less than an 8-minute walk from the station. From my high-floor room, I could see the top of the church. It's also a very short walk to the church, about 5-10 minutes. Service: The overall service is good, and the staff are very patient. There are a few steps from the lobby to the elevators, but there's a small lift available to help with luggage, which is a very thoughtful touch."

"The hotel is situated at around 5 minute walk from the Train Station. We arrived the hotel by a late ICE train at night, there is no problem regarding safety or ease of access. The reception is 24 hours manned, and has a self-service drink kiosk which you find rare to be free on European budget hotel chains. Overall lovely staff and big hotel. Note this hotel has only stair access, but to be fair for the price we paid for it is totally acceptable."

"The hotel has a pleasant environment, spacious interior, and a great stay experience. The subway station is right at the door. It will be very convenient if there is a day ticket for transportation. However, if it is purely on foot, there is still some distance to the scenic spots near Cologne Cathedral, about 20-30 minutes."
