"This is pretty good. Parking is €15 per day, but self-check-in is nice overall. The shower facilities are so-so, but acceptable. When I arrived, the hotel said they were out of shower gel and shampoo, so I had to use my own. They also didn't have any tissues. 🙂↔️"
"The hotel was okay overall. I checked in quite late at night, and there was no staff present for manual check-in, so I had to use the self-service machine. It was very slow, and the machine even had issues. The room was tidy and clean, but there was no bottled water, toothbrush, or toothpaste. The front desk was unstaffed, so the service was a bit lacking."
"The hotel is about 1.1 kilometers straight from the train station's rear exit, which is a bit of a distance. You'll eventually have to carry your luggage up stairs (or drag it up a ramp) to reach the hotel. Alternatively, you can take the subway for one stop with your luggage and use the hotel's front entrance (though there are still stairs or a ramp to climb). Inside, the hotel is great: it has an elevator and air conditioning (not just a cooler). Check-in at the front desk was quick, and you can store your luggage after check-out (highly recommended)."
"The hotel itself is very nice and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. The room is spacious and well-equipped with all amenities, and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station. Everything was great; we will definitely be back."
"The staff are courteous and friendly and the breakfast is very tasty.
It is convenient to arrive and depart from the central Station and also close to shopping, dining and sightseeing.
I really liked the design and the ambience in the hotel because they don't have loud music (it was very pleasant)."
"Good location if you use Düsseldorf Hbf is your priority, as it is just a 3-5 minute walk from the trains and trams, making it perfect for early departures or late arrivals.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The room was clean but not very spacious, however I had a small balcony which was a nice addition. The furniture leans towards ”dated” but still very acceptable for me.
Rooms on the street side can be quite noisy despite having good windows. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room facing the courtyard or bring some earplugs.
Breakfast was fine and kept stocked while it was very busym"
"Spent a weekend in Düsseldorf and the hotel was great overall. They gave me a room on the highest floor with a partial view of the railway tracks. The hotel facilities are very new, and the room was spacious. My only note is that it's close to the main station, so you might want to be mindful of your surroundings when going out at night."
"Location is great, a few minutes walk to düsseldorf hbf, and maybe 10 to 15 mins walk to the ”Small Tokyo street”. The staff from hotel is very nice with pleasant smile, english communication is definitely no problem. The only thing was the shower drain. I am not sure it's because of the drain design or something else, it didn't work well. The water wasn't flowing into the pipe, causing a pool of standing water in the shower area. I wore a disposable glove (luckily I had a pair in my bag 🎉) and managed to clear some hair out of the drain. This released a bad smell, so I guess it wasn't ”fresh hair” 🙄. Anyhow, the drain seemed to work better later on. Considering the room rate, I will probably choose this hotel again.🙈"
"The location is good if you're going to an event in Mitsubishi Electric Hall, overall it's 15 mins from central railway station, 3 mins from Aldi and also the tram station is very close
What's not so good is the lack of amenities, it's practically nothing apart from shower gel
No slippers, toothbrush or hygiene kit"

Great
GGürkan ÖzenWe stayed at this hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing.
On the first day, the air conditioner in our room was not working. We reported the issue to the reception in the evening, but were told that there were no available rooms. What was more concerning than the problem itself was the indifferent attitude of the reception staff. They showed no empathy, did not apologize, and simply stated that housekeeping had not reported the issue, asking us what they could do.
To ensure the issue would be addressed, I personally reminded them again and provided our room number. I’m glad I did, because it later became clear that no record of our complaint had been made.
That evening, assuming the issue had been resolved, we returned to our room only to find that the air conditioner was still not working. When we reported it again, we received the same standard response: “There are no available rooms.” It felt repetitive and unhelpful, as if no real effort was being made to resolve the situation.
Since it was already late and our last night, we had little choice. Fortunately, a staff member named Fadi from the bar came to assist us. He checked the electrical panel, reset the fuses, and managed to get the air conditioner working. I would like to sincerely thank him for his initiative and helpfulness. Unlike the reception staff, he also proactively suggested a room change if needed.
Additionally, as we were leaving the hotel, we met Ms. Derya from the reception. We explained the situation to her, and she kindly apologized for what had happened. I would like to thank her as well for her understanding and professional attitude.
In summary, this hotel leaves guests to handle issues on their own unless they happen to encounter a helpful staff member. The experience feels inconsistent and unreliable, which is not what one expects from a hotel stay.
SSSR99Fuss free check-ins and can’t complain about the rooms - it was sufficient. They do offer earlier breakfast hours (4am onwards) but I did not take them so I don’t know how it is this might be helpful for those going for early flights! Location is near the airport but far from everything else tho it is a small city after all. Quite affordable option nonetheless and had a smooth check-in experience.
BBaOoOComfortable and welcoming hotel with a friendly, helpful staff who make you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. The location is excellent—conveniently situated for exploring the area, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transport links. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, offering a relaxing and comfortable stay. Breakfast is varied and tasty, with fresh options to start the day well. Overall, a pleasant experience and a great choice for both short and longer stays.
GGuest UserOverall, I had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express. The location is excellent, and the atmosphere inside the hotel is comfortable and welcoming.
One suggestion for improvement would be to add a small entertainment area, such as board games or family-friendly activities. This would make the hotel even more enjoyable for guests traveling with children.
Another valuable addition would be an airport shuttle service. Although Düsseldorf Airport is quite close, taking a taxi from the hotel was surprisingly expensive for such a short distance. A shuttle taxi service would be a great convenience for guests and would further improve the overall experience.
Even it was I wasn’t told about it
Thank you for the excellent hospitality. I would be happy to stay here again.
KKenneth Camillerilocation is A+. 2 minuite walk to the Heinrich underground station which takes you straight to the Messe. Hotel is nice. strange layout but its a medieval building so its part of the charm. Front desk leaves much to desire for a 5 star hotel. the room is ok. was given room 131. mattress was collapsed and definitely not commercial 5 star hotel standard.felt more of a foam cushion than a mattress with just 10 cm height of cushioning. i am 1.87 mtrs height and 110kgs. the mattress went concave when i lied down and my upper back muscles namely rhomboids and lats felt it badly in the morning. Advised the front desk who replied nothing can be done because all mattresses are like that. i don't insist or complain further if i am refused or rejected the first time i ask. on my checkout i advised front desk whose manager was present and i advised i was very happy with location but not with bed. i had no reply from her and she moved away stating in awe that no one had such an issue. on a positive note the breakfast operators who were very attentive and courteous at all times. for 950 euros for 3 nights i think they are very lacking in not being able to provide the basic hotel service of a good nights rest.
GGuest UserThe service was tip top from the check-in till the end. The service of Lucas and Hedric was attentive, meticulous and very helpful to my needs. I was exhausted and jet lag due to the trade show business plus it was my first time staying in the city centre. So rhe clean room and warm sincere treatment from the staff brightened me up. I appreciate the lovely loft room view of the city and also the great roof top bar. Thank u.
GGuest UserVery close to the train station, and the main reason is that the owners are all wonderful Chinese sisters, hahahaha. It's super convenient to ask for directions or any questions!
ZZHENGRONGThe breakfast at the hotel is very good, I like it very much, the variety is good, the taste is good. My room was found to have obvious stains on the bed at the night of check-in. Due to the late time, I can only deal with it sloppyly. Serve the little brother, and he said that he immediately handled all the room hygiene, which is very satisfactory.
GGuest UserGood location for events.
Prices at the bar are excessive. For a aperol/little in a 0.2 l glass with a lot of ice 12€.
Personal at reception super friendly.
FFanny LIt was alright, not bad. There weren't many rooms, but they were quite clean. The location was convenient, but the prices were super expensive during the exhibition period 😂
