"The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with a smile. They were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel environment is lovely, situated right by the Rhine River, and has a strong artistic vibe indoors, with art pieces even in the rooms. The Chocolate Museum is right across the street, and there's a bus stop conveniently located outside. While it's a little further from Cologne Central Station, it feels much quieter and less noisy. The rooms are spacious, modern, and soundproof. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit. Highly recommended!"

Zu Fuß super zu erreichen die Laxess Arena da das unser Ziel war lag das Schlafwerk perfekt und ist von unserer Seite zu empfehlen. Bei anstehenden Konzert besuchen wie in unserem fall."

"This stay was a truly fantastic experience, earning a five-star rating! The hotel's location is a real plus. It's right next to the subway station and a few minutes' walk from the shopping district and food court, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The most surprising thing was the service. The front desk clerk greeted us with a smile throughout, checking us in quickly, and proactively recommended nearby hidden gems and must-try restaurants, even providing tips on avoiding pitfalls. He was incredibly thoughtful. The room exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The sheets and duvet cover had a subtle fragrance and were wrinkle-free. The bedding was as soft as a cloud, making it impossible to get up. The soundproofing was excellent, so I couldn't hear any outside noise at night, and I slept soundly until I woke up naturally, completely free of fatigue. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, complete with toiletries, and the hot water supply was always available."

"Nice hotel near the Lanxess Arena. We stayed there for the EHF FINAL4 2026, as did many other handball fans. The relaxation in the pool and sauna was great, but the only downside was that once you're outside the sauna (for a cool-down), you can't get back in unless you prop the door open. That's inconvenient when it's cold and there's no one around to open the door for you."

"Very enjoyable stay. I came with three kids and they had plenty of space to play in the bench corner. Right next to the reception is the children's play corner, which was good to kill time while waiting in the lobby. The hotel is close to the Schokoladenmuseum which is just walking distance from the hotel. The kids love it."

"The room was quite spacious and modern for European standards, and the lobby and restaurant had a contemporary feel. The location is decent; it's a 20-minute walk to the cathedral, but there are plenty of bus and metro lines right across the street that go to the train station and attractions like Dragon's Lair. There's also a supermarket about 200 meters away, and the surrounding area is relatively quiet."

"Built in 1999, the hotel has an older design but is well-functioning. We booked a room with a church view, which was spacious. However, the bathroom only offered a 3-in-1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash, which doesn't quite meet the standards of similarly priced hotels in the city. A rather interesting feature is the grand lobby; at first glance, I thought it was a shopping mall! The piano bar on the first floor had a great atmosphere in the evening, until we realized the music seemed to be from a speaker and not actually played by a person, haha (or maybe the pianist had just finished their shift when we passed by)."

"Had a lovely stay, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We requested a room close to the elevator and they gave us a spacious one just as we asked. The location is fantastic, especially if you're visiting during the Christmas market season; everything is within walking distance. The only downsides were the weak internet connection, so it’s better to have your own data plan if you rely on being online, and bed sheets are only changed upon request. Overall, still a pleasant experience and would recommend for the location, helpful staff and lovely spacious rooms!"
