This review is from a Malaysian Chinese woman, 20+, 170cm, size M.😆
If you're on a budget but it's your first time in France and you're worried about safety, read this.
Pros:
1. Since it's a hotel, housekeeping cleans daily. At the very least, the trash and towels are replaced every day. I stayed for 7 nights, and if I had stayed in an Airbnb, the trash would probably have piled up. So, this is great for longer-staying travelers.
2. Convenient location. It's a 15-minute walk to Place de la Bastille and Le Marais. Taking the bus and metro is very easy, and Paris is a great city for walking. I even walked from the hotel to the Opera in an hour, and the scenery along the way was beautiful.
3. Lots of food nearby! Plenty of brunch spots – you can grab a bite right outside the door.
4. 24-hour front desk, so any issues can be addressed at any time.
Cons:
1. Bathroom: Upon check-in, there was a distinct odd smell in the bathroom. It wasn't ammonia; maybe it was the disinfectant they use? Also, you can't flush too much toilet paper at once, or it won't go down. Surprisingly, the shower and toilet are separate, with a curtain you can pull for a semi-wet/dry separation. As a 170cm, M-sized Asian woman, I found it perfectly adequate.
2. Bedding: Although housekeeping came to clean daily, I don't think the bed linen was changed. Since we weren't out early and back late, we were too lazy to ask (though I'm sure we could have mentioned it to the front desk), so the cleanliness might be just okay. However, the bed wasn't uncomfortable; I've slept on more expensive beds that were worse.
3. Soundproofing: Not great. If you sleep in a bit late, you'll start hearing traffic noise from the street. But there aren't many cars in the morning, so it acts as a little alarm, reminding you it's 11 am and time to get up! 🤣
Overall, it's a safe, affordable, and convenient place!
If you can tolerate the three drawbacks I mentioned, then it's definitely worth checking out.

For Seb & Co in Paris:
The location is very convenient while still being quiet, which is a big plus in Paris. The hotel itself is quite basic, but in a good, practical way: it has everything you need, it feels clean, and it works well if you are looking for a comfortable base rather than a luxury stay.
It is not the kind of hotel you book for extra services or a special atmosphere, but it is a solid option if you want somewhere quiet, well located, and easy to use as a base for exploring the city or for going to the office.
Overall, a simple, clean, and convenient hotel in a good Paris location. Not fancy, but definitely practical and comfortable enough for a short stay.

Booked for one night with my daughter. I requested a room with twin beds: contract honored (1 double bed and 1 single bed 👍). Toilet and shower in the room. Relatively spacious room.
Decent bedding; the room doesn't face the street, so we had a good, quiet night.
Full breakfast: coffee, milk, hot water, orange juice, cereal, croissant, bread, and whatever else you want to put on it...
The whole place could do with a bit of updating, and the bedspreads could definitely be replaced, but for one night, it's good value for money.

Disappointed. Barely any cold water coming from the tap. No toilet paper. 4th floor without a lift, and we weren't informed beforehand. Uncomfortable bed. Zero soundproofing, and unfortunately, very noisy neighbours. In short, I hardly slept.

The room was a bit small, but the bathroom was quite spacious. The location was absolutely fantastic, I was very happy with it.
Hipotel Paris Voltaire Bastille is located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, just a few steps from Voltaire metro station and close to Place de la Bastille and Rue Saint-Antoine. The lively neighborhood allows you to discover excellent restaurants and shopping centers in a typically Parisian atmosphere.
Hipotel Paris Voltaire Bastille is at the heart of this popular and central district, in the center of the capital, 1,500 meters from Gare de Lyon. During your stay in the capital, you can easily reach must-see landmarks such as Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, Place de la Concorde, the elegant Champs-Élysées, and the Eiffel Tower within a few minutes by metro, probably the most efficient public transport in the City of Light. This hotel does not have facilities for people with reduced mobility and pets are not allowed. It has 36 rooms.

Good accommodations, very comfortable bed, close to the subway, restaurants, and various shops. Friendly and attentive service. My only complaint is that it was written on the Trip booking that breakfast was free for children under 17, but it wasn't. The hotel claims to have no idea about this. It wasn't free. But there are cheaper breakfast options nearby.

The room was a bit small, but perfectly adequate for two people. You might struggle a bit with a large suitcase! It had a bed, a bathroom, and a shower, which was all we needed. Just like in Rome, the beds in Paris tend to be on the softer side, which I found quite uncomfortable! There's a small kitchen and bathroom downstairs. Before we left, we bought some sausages from the supermarket and heated them up in the microwave in the small kitchen, which was perfect for lunch!

Barebones hotel for those who want to travel on a budget but don't want to stay in hostels/share a room with others.
Comes with a bed, bathroom, small desk, TV and small closet. There's stuff like ~5 hangers, a hair dryers etc. but they also lack some basics like toiletries (you only have a 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel; no toothbrush, shaving kit, etc.) and slippers.
Service was adequate and 24/7 so that's a plus.

This was a generally clean hotel! It felt like a slightly larger version of a typical Japanese business hotel.
When we went out, we had to leave our key at the front desk, which was a bit of an old-fashioned system.
The air conditioning only blew cold air, so when I mentioned it to the front desk, they told me to use the heater. It was warm when we returned after leaving the heater on, but it got a little chilly while sleeping.
The hot water worked fine, water pressure was normal, and there were no issues with the shower at all!
We only booked this hotel for the day we were exploring the Le Marais district. I think it might be a bit inconvenient for a multi-day stay if you're planning to see all of Paris, but it's perfectly sufficient if you're just focusing on the Le Marais area.
Be aware that the nearest station (from what I saw) doesn't have escalators or elevators, and the surrounding area has Paris's characteristic cobblestone streets, so those with large suitcases should be careful! It could be tough, especially for groups of women traveling alone.

Great
GGuest UserReception 24/7 was helpful and looked after my luggage when I was out. Room was big enough for one traveller, might be a squeeze for two. However, the metro being so close to the hotel was highly convenient and didn’t take long to get to places. Close to most spots. Only issue I personally had was that the sheets weren’t changed upon housekeeping, and wasn’t exactly spotless. But for the location and price, I would come back again. The windows were particularly my favourite (be aware of noise e.g ambulances) and the bathroom was great and spacious.
GGuest UserThis hotel is part of the Palais des Congrès de Paris complex, and it's one of the few high-rise buildings in the city. From my 8th-floor room facing south, I could see both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. Getting to the metro is super convenient; you can walk directly through the convention center, which is a huge plus in often rainy Paris. The breakfast was incredibly rich, offering rice, omelets, stir-fried vegetables, and over five kinds of fruit, plus hazelnut chocolate. The room was quite spacious by Parisian standards. Just a heads-up, Montmartre Hill, as shown in some photos, isn't actually visible – I had to stick my phone out the window to capture it.
Now, a special warning about the taxis right outside the hotel. They are dishonest, so be careful. Taxis from Charles de Gaulle Airport to central Paris have a fixed zone-based fare: 65 euros for the Left Bank and 56 euros for the Right Bank. If you order a taxi via an app or phone, there's an additional 4-euro booking fee. We took a taxi from the hotel, which is on the Right Bank. The concierge confirmed the fixed fare would be 56 euros. However, after hailing a taxi right outside, the driver tried to charge us 65 euros (the Left Bank rate) plus a 4-euro booking fee upon arrival at the airport. After a lengthy argument, and even calling the hotel, the driver finally charged 56 euros plus the 4-euro booking fee. So, even after arguing, we still ended up paying the extra booking fee.

DDaitieGreat little hotel on the outer skirts of Paris. It's decently located within a 10 minute walk of 2 metro stations. There's a small gym that's 24hr, co working space and a restaurant as well as a laundromat on site.
Reception is open 24 hours and they're very friendly and will try their best to cater to your needs.
The rooms are extremely clean, and has all the amenities you would normally need (except a spoon to stir the coffee). They provide a reusable glass bottle to take on your day out (which is purchasable if you would like) and they have water refill stations throughout the hotel.
For the price i can't complain. Brand new hotel, you can still smell the paint! Extremely clean. Comfy beds (though the sheets are quite thick and I felt a little warm even when the air con was on full blast!)
Would definitely recommend if you don't mind the travel into central Paris (I'm from London so the commute is nothing compared to the London underground). Supermarkets and small brasseries located nearby and there's also a restaurant thats open till late that provides drinks and food.
GGuest UserThe room was very well-equipped, with cooking utensils provided, and the dishwasher was a big plus; however, the air conditioning and heating systems kept turning off automatically, and the heater wouldn't turn on. After we reported this, the hotel provided breakfast for us one day because the repairs didn't take place until after check-out! Very nice! 👍🏻
GGuest UserTThe hotel is exceptionally stylish and has a very nice, modern aesthetic. The design is chic and the atmosphere is welcoming.
The wooden floors are a major issue for noise. We could clearly hear movement from the room above, the room next door, and even our own footsteps echoed. The sound insulation is very poor.
Beautiful hotel, but would not recommend if you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise.
GGuest UserThe front desk staff were very responsible and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. It's also pet-friendly and located in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. It's super convenient for walking to the Champs-Élysées and there are lots of great food options nearby. This is my second time staying here!
SStuart22The Pullman Bercy is ideal if you want a relaxed, modern hotel in an extremely safe and accessible neighbourhood. Great for those who value comfort and luxury.
+ Location: From the hotel it's a few mins walk to the M14 line, a new and safe metro line that is connected tobAirport Orly and Gare du Lyon train station (RER A/B trains to Disneyland Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport). M14 can also take you into central Paris to see the Louvre, Notre Dame and Palais Garnier within 30mins.
+ Cleanliness: The room, including water and towels, was refreshed daily.
+ Air Conditioning: The a/c worked well and kept the room at a comfortable temperature.
- The TV did not have chromecast or similar wifi-streaming features available.
UUncle HsiungThe room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the location couldn't be better – right across from the North Station, with a metro entrance just outside. It was literally a two-to-three-minute walk from the Eurostar platform. The staff were diligent, responsible, and friendly. One time, I needed to print something at midnight, and Harold on duty immediately helped me out – a big thanks to him! The only downside to the hotel is the poor soundproofing. My room was next to a large room that could sleep five people. Luckily, out of my seven-night stay, there were only two nights when someone was next door: once it was a family with two crying children, and another time it was a group of young people…
CCheuw MeiCentral location, very close to Amsterdam Central train station. Quite noisy at night as it is in the middle of the walking street, busy night life. Very small room but good for solo traveller. No lift, so people with big luggage be mentally prepared to manually lift up heavy luggage using the crazily steep staircase.
AAnonymous UserGreat Hotel, Great Staff and Great Vibes.
Special thank you to Nihad who was extremely accommodating and hospitable.
and also to Abdullah who was also very kind and made checking in a pleasant efficient experience.
Would definitely rebook.
