"First off, the location is absolutely unbeatable, making it super convenient to explore Nice's Old Town and surrounding attractions. I made sure to book ahead this time, and the room was spacious and bright, exuding a luxurious French charm. During the day, I loved sitting on the balcony, basking in the sun while gazing at the sparkling Côte d'Azur. In the evenings, a drink accompanied by the sea breeze was pure bliss! The hotel's service also deserves a huge shout-out; the staff were warm, professional, and even thoughtfully arranged a room with a fantastic view during check-in. The in-room amenities were excellent – the bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom clean and tidy, and they even had thoughtful touches like an electric clothes drying rack. If you don't feel like venturing far, the hotel's own restaurant and poolside offer a wonderful ambiance. Plus, there are tons of dining options nearby; whether you're craving authentic Niçoise cuisine, exquisite French dishes, or just a simple burger or pizza, you'll find something within a few minutes' walk. Overall, while it wasn't the cheapest, it was definitely worth every penny. If you're looking for a romantic getaway in Nice, choosing this place is a no-brainer – you won't be disappointed!"

"Hotel is 15 minutes walking from old town and 25 from the beach. Everything was clean and all employees was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was very good. On our last day it was a option to leave your luggage at hotel and to collect it later that day and this is very useful if you have late flight."

"We stayed for 3 nights, good service and breakfast, dont expect too much but its the essentials you need to get you started each day. Location is convenient to get into Old Town and local transportation. Lacking in some amenities in the room such as a kettle, storage space and hair conditioner, otherwise good price for a basic hotel."

"For us the hotel is perfectly positioned for our 4 night stay in Nice. We paid extra to use the carpark for our rental car. We ate our breakfasts outside, preferring croissants and coffee to a hotel breakfast. We were on the 5th floor and the lift was good. The receptionists were always helpful. Our room (56) was fine with a small balcony with a sea-view. Sheets and towels were very good. Useful was the bottle for water which could be refilled at reception and kept in the fridge. One minus point-the bedside tables were too small. Our stay was good and we would have no hesitation to staying here next time."

"Great location – the sea is just across the road, and it's within walking distance of the train stations. Plus, there's a vintage market nearby on Mondays. The hotel is clean, and the staff are very friendly. Breakfasts are a bit sparse but tasty. There's a water cooler with cold and sparkling water in the hallway."

"Had lifts, clean and beds were comfortable. Great that it has air conditioning, most accommodation in europe does not have it. Life saver in summer especially in the heat wave! We booked this place because they had laundry service but when we asked about it, they don’t have it and we were disappointed. Sound proofing was not the best as well, could hear other people talking, footsteps and doors slamming."

"The room was spacious, and the bed, despite being listed as 0.8m, felt at least 1m and was very comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent; it was very quiet with the windows closed. The hotel was clean. You can get free water refills from the front desk. The hotel's location is super convenient, directly opposite the train station and the free tram stop for airport terminals T1 and T2. Breakfast was included and quite substantial, with vegetables that were delicious with a bit of vinaigrette and olive oil from the side. The only minor thing was that we had to ask housekeeping specifically to change the bath towels. For a 3-star budget hotel, it offers incredible value for money!"

"Our second time in less than 2 months. When you are greeted like old friends with warmth, professionalism and sweetness that’s the place to come back time after time. Thank you to THE Team at Mama. You are fabulous. This time our room was on 4th floor. Very light , spotlessly clean…. Love the room and shower room with lovely bedding and towels. You ll find the Tram to airport within a 10mins walk ( Port Lympia) or the train to Monaco Ventimiglia etc.. from ( Riquier station) less than 10 minutes. Loads of cafes around too. Loved our stay and needless to say , we will be back in the summer this time. Thank you to the amazing welcoming Team"

"Modern apartment studio, air conditioning didn’t work , hotel staff tried to help but problem was not solved , and they did not offered to change the room. Luckily I stayed coupe of nights and I slept with wide open window to get the air. Location is good near the airport and couple stops by tram to the public beach and carrefour food store. Service was bad and unprofessional . Some tried to be friendly but one of them the older man was kind of scammer, don’t trust him he is unprofessional. Hotel need invest in customer service and better trained staff. I am wondering if I get my 150€ insurance deposit back as that older guy couldn’t print or give me some evidence. Saying it’s impossible to print anything, he was extremely slow and bad with the computer. There was family  with small infant who struggled they were charged twice and demanded ther refund, the clerk refused and was unprofessional. The only plus in this hotel is roof top pool with beutiful view and modern room except that air condition is not working. So don’t come in summer or even autumn. Wait till winter so you can sleep with open windows. The room cards had many times problems they were not working properly  at the elevator car, I had to go change many times. Good luck guys! Sad hotel looks nice but lots of but… if I give score for customer service I give 0"

Cons: * Prices increase significantly during peak tourist season, reducing value for money. * Some rooms have poor soundproofing; you can occasionally hear noise from neighboring rooms. * If it's not a sea-view room, the experience is less enjoyable than a sea-view room."
