The hotel was really lovely. Most of the time we were greeted with friendliness. It was very clean and tidy. We changed our room from a twin to a double and there were no issues with that.
I was disappointed that the spa leisure facilities were closed as it was one of the reasons we booked this hotel.
Some of the decor is a bit dated but there are some lovely period features that enhance the hotels ambiance. A very good location for anyone arriving into Liverpool Lime Street.

Location: Right next to the train station, with a direct passage to the station, so you don't need to go outside. The room was quite spacious, though I could hear some train noise, but it didn't disturb my rest. I really loved the lobby's decor.

1. Excellent location, close to the train station, Albert Dock, etc., bus stop at the door, convenient to Anfield. 2. The room is spacious and has everything you need, with many charging sockets and USB ports, very convenient. 3. Friendly service, help to heat up food. 4. The only drawback is that the room lighting is dim, not friendly enough for reading.

I traveled to Liverpool via the Isle of Man Ferry. It's about a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal.
The hotel has been newly renovated, and the rooms are very clean and stylish. There is a wide selection of complimentary wines and food.
Due to my schedule, I was only able to stay one night, but I wish I had contacted them in advance.

The location is 100 meters to the left of the main exit of Liverpool Lyme Railway Station. There are signs on the side of the road. The room is quite big and clean. The lidl supermarket downstairs is worth recommending. Opposite is the museum and commercial street. Albert and Beatles Memorial Hall are all within walking distance.

Really nice hotel, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a twin cabin room (no others available)basic but comfortable and very clean, warm, TV, complimentary tea and coffee. A phone for room service if required.
The breakfast was a buffet with everything you could possibly want to start you off for the day.
We had a meal in the restaurant Friday evening which was really lovely with again great staff.
Hotel is close to Liverpool lime street train station.
Though it didn't upset our stay there was a party Friday and Saturday night that was very loud and went on till 1am
It would have been nice to have been given this information.

Great
DDeepanshu kapoorI had a good stay at Pullman Liverpool. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. The overall atmosphere and comfort made it an enjoyable experience.
The only downside was that the dental kit provided was expired, which was disappointing and something that should be checked more carefully. Aside from that, everything else was great and I had a pleasant stay.
GGuest UserThis is always my hotel of choice whenever I’m in Liverpool. I stay here regularly, and it never disappoints. The comfort, consistency, and overall experience keep me coming back every time. It truly feels like my home away from home.
CClaire.BStayed one night with my daughter for my birthday. The hotel is very central and the reception staff were welcoming. Our room was large and modern, but extremely dark, if you plan on doing makeup, it might be worth bringing a lighted mirror.
I had requested a quiet room and was placed at the back, but unfortunately there was a constant noise that sounded like a generator, as well as the sound of glass bottles being emptied somewhere. Some guests also returned around 4 a.m., so I was lucky if I got an hour of sleep.
That said, I would still stay again.
WWren_lovebirdMy partner and I stayed here 2 nights, for a concert. It’s no where near as close to the location as was said. Receptionist who checked us in was absolutely lovely, not very great with directions to our room though. Speaking of the room, it was absolutely freezing even with the hot air con on. The tv kept on glitching, and cutting out. Not to mention it had some guy narrating which is great for those who can’t see, but we were unable to turn it off and it was much louder than the shows themselves. The shower had what seems to be read hair dye on the shower head too, which isn’t great. The door knob fell off multiple times when entering the room, we had to slam it back on multiple times. There was also blood on my partners pillow, not from either of us which is gross and weird..
VValGreat value hotel with friendly & helpful service. Room decor a little dated but impeccably clean and with comfortable beds.
Hotel is old airport terminal and there are old planes on the ‘airside’ behind the building!
GGuest UserGood location nearby shops and the train station 5 mins walk. Basic room but clean. Shower was great and the river view was decent. Rooms are soundproof for the busy road outside which is great. Breakfast was lovely and great choice of cooked and cold food. Coffee not nice but that's personal choice.
only down is no leisure facility even though there's one right next door. Noisy fan in the room
JJay-PeeMy Two-Night Stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool: Central City Experience
Just wrapped up a fantastic two-night stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool and wanted to share my thoughts! At £126.90 plus a small £4.80 property fee, it offered excellent value for a city center experience.
The location at 46-48 Foley Street puts you right in the heart of Liverpool, which was perfect for my mini-break. Being centrally located meant I could easily walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas without relying on transportation. The vibrant city atmosphere was right on my doorstep!
I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.
The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city.
What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking.
The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place.
Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank.
**Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Perfect for weekend city breaks, concert-goers, or anyone wanting to soak up Liverpool's vibrant atmosphere.
MMomo101It’s a nice hotel … an old building and once was ymca building by the sign at the roof of its building.
Small room, kind a very small if being a large suitcases 🤭
Still on the renovation by the time I got there … so the room still smells like paint … but overall it’s nice enough
