"The guys at the reception are super nice. I was helped with my luggage when I arrived but when leaving, I was on my own. Breakfast was great since the hotel itself owns a commercial restaurant that serves great food. There are local delicacies on the menu, but no staple dishes like fufu or banku. (U might have to go elsewhere if u wanna try typical Ghanaian dishes. The environment is quite noisy but the windows are quite sound proof. A good place to be if you’re in Accra"
"At the beginning, I wanted to book China Plus, but I read the comments that the noise was very loud at night, so I decided to book this one, but the environment is also very clean. There is always a black brother at the front desk to help carry luggage. If you are familiar with the local area, this one can choose. There is a KFC not far away."
"I’ve stayed here twice in May, and once again, the experience was excellent. After returning from another city, I needed a place to stay before my flight the next day, and the hosts were incredibly patient, helpful, and professional throughout.
They made my last night in Ghana completely stress-free. The apartment itself is modern, clean, and feels brand new, with great service to match. The rooms are beautiful, I’ve stayed in two different rooms so far, and both were excellent and very comfortable.
This will always be my preferred place to stay anytime I’m in Ghana.
Thank you, Vida, and the entire team, for the amazing hospitality."
"It was great, very comfortable, and I would definitely come back. The environment was nice and clean, the service was excellent, and the cleaning was prompt. I would stay here again if I ever come to Ghana again. I love this place."
"The place is really nice and clean. It is located right at the center of Accra, in the ever bustling Oxford Street. The vibes of the location makes it an attractive option for those who like the noise and the chaos of city life."
"It’s perfect place for leisure,,it’s a great stay ,the amenities are a top notch..Aside these their checkout time is too early as 11:00 am ..which makes it very bad for rush in check out especially their staffs ..they were on our neck to check out early .check out times usually like midday like 12:00 is better ."
"My stay at Airport View Hotel was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredible- attentive, professional, and always ready to help with the biggest smiles. They truly made us feel special.
A lovely highlight was the complimentary dinner buffet on our first night, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch. The food was delicious and the experience set the tone for an amazing stay.
The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing, and the location in Accra is perfect. I felt completely at home and so well taken care of. I’ll definitely be back- highly, highly recommended!"
"Overall, it was okay. However, when I asked at the front desk, they said there were no toiletries, no slippers, and no hairdryer, which was inconsistent with what was advertised on the website. I decisively changed hotels the next day."
GGuest UserThe location is good. It is located near from the Spintex area in the middle of East Legon.
However, they always forget putting towels.. almost every day.
So it is better to bring your own towels.
The Security guy called David was very helpful.
Still overall one of the good place to stay but there are a lot of improvements needed.
MMaxwell AcquahI enjoyed my stay. The facility is well kept and in a very good location with easy access to all kinds of activities. Security is very high and the staff are friendly.
NNazarethbuxBeautiful environment and especially great vibe at the pool and restaurant area. In the evenings they play some music and it’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy if you don’t feel like going out. You can have a drink and they even have shisha if you like. The waitress Catherine at breakfast time was absolutely lovely! Warm and helpful and friendly, we really missed her when she wasn’t around on the weekend. The one thing I didn’t like about our stay was that some of the front desk staff seemed to have a bit of an attitude towards us because we had extended multiple times and chose to do so through trip as it’s cheaper than the USD rates that the hotel charges directly. They said that what we paid through trip was too little however, we didn’t make those rates so I found that a bit rude. The whole hotel operates on USD rates so for value added services like laundry or transportation it can be very overpriced.
AAceHartsGreat Place … just don’t expect it to be “Accra-adjacent.”
The Good:
Peace and quiet, finally! The environment is calm, and the room exceeded my expectations for the price. There’s a massive car park, an event area, and a restaurant that does both local and continental dishes pretty well. Staff are polite, genuinely helpful, and make you feel welcome. There’s a swimming pool, a gym (more on that later), and even a mall just about 700 meters away...an easy walk if you’re feeling adventurous.
The Not-So-Good:
Let’s just say this place is spiritually located in Accra, but physically… not so much. It’s quite a trek from the city center. The gym needs serious rehab — most of the equipment has clearly seen better days. Accessibility is also tricky; ride-hailing apps often drop you at the wrong gate, and the access road isn’t exactly a joyride.
Verdict:
Overall, I had a good stay. It’s quiet, comfortable, and great value — if you’re not planning to spend most of your time inside Accra. Otherwise, pack snacks and patience for the commute. PEACE
AANGEL OFFICIALEBest stay! Customer service was impeccable, the host harriet was very friendly and attentive, the studio was sold out so they upgraded us to a bigger apartment for free, highly recommend! Shops and restaurants close by, its in the city so its not far from activities and night life, all amenities were provided for! 10/10
GGuest UserIt was a fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The hotel’s vibrant, stylish decor truly lives up to its name, giving off a lively yet relaxing atmosphere.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was also impressive, with a variety of delicious options that catered to both local and international tastes. With a very jovial chef and warm smile creating you as you walk in.
The hotel’s proximity to the airport made it incredibly convenient for my stay, yet it still felt like a retreat away from the city’s hustle. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel offers a perfect mix of comfort and style. I’d definitely stay here again!
EEve ManifetovaI had a wonderful stay at GhanaLancaster Hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Accra. The location is very convenient, close to key areas of the city, which made getting around easy and stress-free. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I immediately felt comfortable.
The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and all the essentials needed for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping did a great job every day, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt calm and secure. I also enjoyed the hotel facilities, especially the pool area, which was perfect for unwinding after a busy day.
Breakfast was another highlight — a great variety of options, fresh food, and good service. The restaurant and bar area were also pleasant, with tasty meals and a nice ambience.
Overall, GhanaLancaster Hotel offers excellent value, great hospitality, and a comfortable experience. I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Ghana.
