"Pros: Loved our stay! Sleek interiors, friendly and helpful staff, and a great rooftop pool with magnificent views. The Uber collaboration with vouchers and a dedicated lobby lounge was a nice touch. Breakfast had a good spread and was delicious (especially the honeycomb!). Special thanks to the housekeeping team for going the extra mile to provide us with firm pillows after our long drive. Truly appreciated! Cons: None! 😊"

"I stayed on Sat~Sun, and there was a public parking lot diagonally across, so parking was free. (Zagreb public parking lot: Saturday 15:00 ~ Sunday free) The accommodation was much bigger than I thought. The facilities were also good. The breakfast place was small, so it would be good to eat when there were no people. Breakfast was delicious."

"The room was really big, spacious, and clean, and it even had a private bathroom shared by four people. The location is super convenient, really close to the tram stop, and you can get to the city center in just two stops. The staff were also very friendly and helpful."

"The room was bright and airy with simple, practical furnishings. The bathroom was also quite spacious. It had a large balcony, but the door was locked. Given that a main road runs just below, there's probably a good reason for that. Breakfast and dinner were included. Dinner was mediocre, not much variety, and drinks had to be ordered separately. However, there was one soup, a rich cauliflower soup, which was a local specialty. Breakfast was excellent and very plentiful."

"Fantastic location. Sauna is available to book for free for private use. The best thing was the massage - it was really good. The only issue was the air condition which was changed to heating during the time we visited (summer transitioning to autumn) so it was a little warm at night. Unless you took the garden facing room, the road/ trams noises will be uncomfortable to leave the windows open through the night. Having said, the staff service were good."

"The Esplanade Hotel scores big on location — it's perfectly situated and hard to beat for exploring the area on foot. The beds were genuinely comfortable and made for a restful night's sleep. That said, the rest of the interior is showing its age. The furniture and furnishings are visibly worn and could use replacing. It doesn't ruin the stay, but it is noticeable and brings the overall experience down a notch. Overall a solid choice if location and sleep quality are your priorities — just be aware that the room itself has seen better days."
