"Stayed 4 nights at The Residency Towers, Chennai early May 2026. Hotel looks grand and clean. Very convenient location if you are a shopper! 'Off' pick drive to International airport about 20 mins. Staff are very kind, polite and helpful. Staff at main door entrance always greet with a smile and are willing to collect your luggages. Breakfast spread with commendable! Many options from South Indian (fresh and on the spot) made dosa, roti, Mediterranean food staple like hummus, pita bread, healthy sandwiches, juices, filter coffee! pastries, cakes, porridge.. more than one can ask for! Special mention about Mr Deeraj. Deeraj made every effort to make my stay memorable after I had issues in the first room assigned to me. Dheeraj personal inspected the next room and assured to make my stay a good one, and he definitely did! Dheeraj visited me in the restaurant to speak to me personally about my dissatisfaction about the first room which is very commendable in ensuring guests are well taken care of. Dheeraj even gave me an upgrade! which was very kind of him. Another mention is Anand who collected my luggages. He was on full spring and energy in his work! He has very good working etiquette. Another shout out to Krish and Ashwin from the restaurant! They were very sweet and friendly to make our mealtimes enjoyable and their lightheartedness full of spirit really made my day! Myself and my husband had a truly wonderful time at The Residency Towers, Chennai! We will surely return. My only comment is, I expected all rooms to have been updated and renovated as advertised on their website, but unfortunately only couple of floors."

"The bedding, floor, and the room in general were clean. The location was also very close to the bustling downtown area. As a beer lover, I appreciated having an alcohol store nearby. The downsides were that the water wasn't hot, only lukewarm, the sink drainpipe was detached and leaked directly onto the floor, and there was no shower. However, Chennai in May is scorching, so I didn't mind the lukewarm water at all. Overall, I'm satisfied!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Grand Continent, T Nagar. The location is perfect, very close to key spots, which made traveling around the city so convenient. The staff were genuinely friendly, kind, and helpful, which made the experience warm and welcoming. That said, cleanliness could be improved as we did encounter quite a lot of mosquitoes during our stay. However, overall the experience was pleasant, and we still enjoyed our time here. Would recommend for its great location and hospitality, with room for improvement in cleanliness."

"The hotel service was excellent, and the Wi-Fi was really fast. They were very responsive, and the room service prices were quite reasonable. They even arranged a car service to take us to the airport in the early morning and thoughtfully prepared breakfast for us, although I wasn't feeling well enough to eat it. Overall, it was a great stay. I'll definitely book here again for my next business trip."

"My stay began on a disappointing note. I arrived at the lobby on a Sunday afternoon and waited nearly 40 minutes before anyone attended to me. Although I was clearly in line, a couple of other guests approached the desk and were assisted before me. I expected the concierge or front-desk staff to notice the situation and assist guests in the order they arrived, but unfortunately, that did not happen. Once I was finally checked in, I was assigned a room on the fourth floor. The room itself was acceptable. I generally do not have particularly high expectations regarding hotel-room ambience, as I find that it often does not vary significantly across hotels, regardless of their star rating. What I found especially unreasonable was the hotel’s pricing. Items available in the room, such as a Snickers bar priced at ₹155 and a packet of Lay’s priced at ₹55, ***** with peanuts and carbonated drinks, were listed at several times their normal retail prices. The markup was so excessive that it made me wonder whether the hotel actually wanted guests to consume these items or was simply trying to impose an unnecessary and inflated expense. The same applied to transportation. The hotel quoted ₹1,800 plus taxes for a sedan to the airport. I booked an Uber for the exact same journey for ₹699. Charging well over twice the market price—and then adding taxes on top of it—is frankly absurd. Hotel convenience may reasonably come at a premium, but this felt less like a premium service and more like an attempt to take advantage of guests. The complimentary breakfast, however, offered a wide variety of options and was probably the most redeeming part of the stay."

"My stay in Oasis hotel from 7-10/10.Hotel , staffs very helpful, friendly and approachable. frontline, to servers, smart, clean and well dressed. Hotel looks new and pleasing.Setup beautiful.Rms were ,clean, tidy ,neat on arrival. Food thou vegetarian and catered outside as i heard was excellent everyday which i look forward to, coffee was super. Only comment, housekeeping service like making up beds, rm cleaning , and topping up of water, toiletries, beverages, daily could be done on time. 🙏🏽for our 4 days stay in You’re hotel a memorable one.."

"An unforgettable stay with amazing cuisine and rooftop entertainment, Novotel on Chamiers Rd is a must see. • 8 min walk to Nandanam Metro 🚉 • Koox Japanese Rooftop Bar 🍸 • Food Exchange Buffet Restaurant • 10min drive to T-Nagar shopping district Stayed for 10 nights over the Independence Day weekend in August, and was very impressed by the hospitality and service of every staff member from the front of house to the room service, who did not hesitate to accommodate my every request. Koox Rooftop bar located at the terrace is a premier dining experience for any Japanese or Thai cuisine aficionados, the evening vibes had us coming back for more. A special mention to the Food Exchange Buffet Restaurant on the 1st Floor, Chef de Partie Amit and Restaurant Manager Nisarg went above and beyond to cater for every request at breakfast, lunch and dinner. A massive thank you to all the staff who made our stay special: Reception Staff - Lucky Front of House - Krishna Gym Staff - Thiru 💪 Room Service - Santhosh And thank you to Mr Amit Gera, GM who kindly welcomed me to the Independence Day Flag Raising ceremony at the front of the Novotel. "Excellent hotel in Nungambakkam, complimentary buffet breakfast, beautiful rooms, friendly staff, Nungambakkam is a great neighborhood, with a vast array of restaurants of many different budgets, train station at Nungambakkam is about 15 minute walk, bus stop at corner is about 5 minute walk, easy to find taxi or auto rickshaw service, metro is not so close by foot, but an auto rickshaw to the Kilpauk metro station is only 10 minutes. I would definitely stay here again. Good value for money."
