Hotels near Piazza Lauro, Sorrento

I picked this hotel based on recommendations from online reviews, but it turns out that the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Sorrento Train Station, so it’s not very convenient to drag a big suitcase with you! Although it is not far from the main street and is quite lively, its location is already at the end of the street. If you walk back to the hotel from the train station, it is actually quite far away. On the contrary, it is relatively close to the beach, so it is good to watch the sunset. The hotel actually does not have a swimming pool. The swimming pool training school next to it has a swimming pool, so guests cannot enjoy the swimming pool unless they pay. But overall, the hotel is very clean, the rooms are large, and the bathrooms are large. It's just a bit old and the refrigerator is broken! Breakfast options are limited, don't have expectations. However, the hotel receptionist was also very kind and recommended a day trip to us. When we learned that the bus to Positana had been stopped! And we Chinese are not used to eating foreign food, so we wanted to get some hot water for us to make noodles, and they were very satisfied! This is a rare 10 points, and its room rate is really not expensive, which is why I still recommend this hotel!

The whole stay at Johanna’s park Hotel was very satisfying. The hotel provides you with a service that takes you straight into the town centre and back, same goes for the time table regarding the scheduled pick up times. Staff was welcoming and helpful, rooms spacious and reliable for what the hotel advertises. An absolute favourite was the breakfast, INSANE! The guys working there and serving us were full of passion and love for what they do. Definitely going back!

Being a hotel manager myself, the hotel is not up to a 4 star level. Starting from the positives,the hotel is on a great central location, very close to the beach,the marinas, all restaurants-shops & train bus stations. The reception team was lovely & the receptionist who checked us in (Terry) was very nice & provided us with the info needed (breakfast times, wifi code etc). The reception lobby was nice. The room was a double standard but very noisy as it was facing the street,the balcony was a Juliette balcony so you cannot use it to sit etc, the shower was the tiny & old,the minibar did not work at all (was not cooling) & when reported to the reception they did not offer to look at it.no iron or ironing board in the room, when we asked for it, we were told to pick it up from the reception and the iron had limescale on it so it was not usable (could stain our clothes. The cleaninless of the room was fair, however I could see that the floor was not hoovered or mopped during our stay. The breakfast was nice and had some traditional items, the service was good but many items were finished by 9:30 and were not replenished as the breakfast was ending at 10am. This is not right, the breakfast buffet must have enough offering until closing time. Also it is served indoors so for those who want a breakfast view, it’s not ideal. The pool was small but clean. The hotel amenities, service, offering & status of rooms reflect to a 3 star hotel and the price per night (€200 approx) is quite high for this type of hotel.

The front desk of the hotel was very friendly and called a car for us when we checked out. Although it was really expensive, it really could only be so due to the location. The interior of the hotel room is clean and tidy, and the price is super high I really like the hotel's swimming pool. The whole feeling of being surrounded by mountains and rivers is very beautiful! There was a problem with the hair dryer in the room at the beginning, and finally adjusted the room for us. The service attitude is very friendly!

Very comfortable hotel. Great breakfast at a reasonable price. The swimming pool is clean and has water spray! There is plenty of sunshine☀️ on the mountain. There is also a free train pick-up! The driver is very skilled! The view from the room is superb! I believe in the Chinese and even upgraded the room

The service is very good, the hardware is a little worse, the elevator is not good, and the floor buttons are not working.

Best experience, the house is clean and tidy, close to the train station Tasso Square, the landlord makes breakfast

The service is super intimate, I have to catch the bus in the morning, the hotel is also very intimate to help us pack the rich breakfast in the refrigerator in advance, it can be said to be the most satisfying accommodation for this trip!
