The location was perfect. I could reach any touristic attractions quickly and hardly used any taxi services. The area is full of restaurants, small cafes. The hotel is close to the sea and the ferries' terminal.

I stayed at this hotel in Salerno as a base for visiting Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. The self check-in process was smooth and convenient, allowing me to enter the room right away upon arrival. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. It also had a refrigerator, which was useful for keeping drinks and groceries cool. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, making it easy to get around for sightseeing. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and I would recommend it to anyone planning to explore the area.

This is a beautiful bnb tucked in a quaint street of Salerno. The location is very good it's easy at a walkable distance from the port, from the station and it's super easy to get around. The host is very kind and welcoming, she is always there to help out and a sweet gentleman comes every morning to top up the sweets for breakfast. My husband and I had a great time.

Wonderful apartment! Great hostess, excellent location: you go out and you are in the center of Salerno. Station bus that follows to Amalfi in 1 minute walk, waiting station is there. To the embankment 2 minutes walk. The apartment is very authentic, the bed is comfortable, the underwear and the towels are clean. There are shops nearby. Everything was very nice. Mrs. Lepra is wonderful! I hope to come back.

When we first entered the hotel, they first asked for money saying that children are paid, then we opened trip.com and showed them and convinced them that we paid in full. It was hard to convince them. The pool was closed, I had chosen the hotel especially for this feature, but they did not allow it even though the pool was ready and said that we had to wait for the next day!!! My children were upset about this situation and it was a meaningless stay for us!

Overall, the hotel is pretty good. We had a two-room suite, which was spacious and clean. You should be aware that the hotel is located four train stations away from the center of Salerno. Trains run every half hour, and a ticket costs 1.3 euros. The sea is across the road, but all the beaches there are private and behind tall fences. On weekdays, it's 15 euros, and on weekends, it's 20 euros. There's a small free beach about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk tried to charge us 10 euros more per person for the tourist tax than she should have. But then we recalculated everything, and she said she made a mistake. It was an unpleasant experience though. The room has a stove, but it's useless. We had three plates, one spoon, three forks, and a knife. There was no frying pan, kettle, or mugs – none of that. On the other hand, there was a large refrigerator with a freezer. One of the air conditioners wasn't working, but after we complained, it was immediately fixed. They even came back later to check if everything was still working. A day later, we lost hot water, but it came back right away after we reported it to the administrator. There's a supermarket and cafes nearby. All in all, it's a livable place, and any issues are quickly resolved.

Solerno was an excellent and beautiful place to stay. The Grand Hotel was our Hotel and was in an excellent location. You could walk to restaurants in old town in about 15-20 minutes from our Hotel. A short walk from the Train station in Solerno. Check in/out was sp easy and quick. Room was very clean and was cleaned every day. Tiled floors were gleaming in Room and hallways. Very impressed. Had a lovely Seaview Room. Sea just across the road. Continental Breakfast was lovely. Sweet and savoury offered. Really enjoyed our stay.

The room is very good, the clean space is good, there is a small elevator, this price is actually a sea view and breakfast, hot water will take a little longer. The sound of the train before late night will be noisy, but it is basically gone after 11 o'clock! It takes about 8-10 minutes to get here from the train station. It is a little inconvenient to drag the suitcase, but it is acceptable.
