"This is my second stay at Hachijo Hotel this year, and I've probably stayed here about five times in total. I love it as much as ever. Whenever I go to the Kansai region, Hachijo Miyako Hotel is my first choice; I don't even bother looking at other hotels anymore. The location is superb, and the room size is considered very spacious for Japan. I really like that the toiletries are POLA. The self-check-in process is very smooth. I also booked a day tour, and the meeting point was conveniently nearby."

"The picture on trip.com didn't do the hotel justice. The room is extremely modern clean and nice. They prepared the bed for us by converting the sofa bed in adcance. The public bath was extremely clean and cozy and we had a great time there. Staffs were also very friendly and helpful."

"We loved this hotel so much!!! This is our best stay in Japan. Stayed here for 5D4N. We were warmly greeted by the front desk. Location is very good, directly opposite station. The check in was done using machine, assisted by the staff. Hotel tax is high sadly but this is part of travelling to Japan now. Room is considered spacious, we could open 2 medium luggage at the same time. Bathroom was spacious and clean, looks very new. Downside was pillow too flat, neck felt little sore after sleeping. They also have a lounge area at L1, drinks and snacks are available as well! Loved that area too! Will come back again"

"I've stayed at this hotel twice now, and its location right inside Kyoto Station is incredibly convenient. You don't really hear any train noise either, which is great. The rooms and overall environment are excellent. My only minor complaint is that the front desk staff seemed a bit perfunctory."

"Over all i had great a experience staying at M Hotel Kasuga Station. The Hotel located within 10 minutes by walk from the train station (JR and Shinkansen) so when we arrive from tokyo with Shinkansen, its pretty easy for me to go to the Hotel. There are many restaurant near by the Hotel including Izakaya and high end restaurant The facilities you will get as follows: - hot water - AC - laundry coin - water dispenser - shampoo, conditioner, body wash - and other amenities The size of the room is quite good you can easly store your luggage and open it every time you want with no hassle."

"Extremely satisfied. I've stayed here multiple times, even making it a point to visit Kyoto just for this hotel. It's conveniently located, making it easy to get anywhere. It's clean and tidy, and the service is attentive and warm. Plus, I simply love hotels with hot springs. The late-night noodles are a fun touch too."

"Royal Twin Hotel Kyoto was perfect for me as a female solo traveler. It’s just a three minute walk to Kyoto Station, with 7 Eleven and Aeon Mall right nearby (less than 1km), which made everything feel convenient and safe. I felt comfortable the entire stay and would gladly choose it again."

"It is a very nice hotel with attentive staff! The hotel is about a 7 minutes walk from Kyoto station. It’s a very convenient place to stay if you’re catching an early train or arriving from a late one. I don’t know if I’d recommend it for a longer stay since the area is quite boring. There’s plenty of restaurants and shops within the station but they’re very crowded and more expensive. It’s also quite far away from the main sights of Kyoto, so for a longer stay I’d recommend staying downtown. The included room amenities are good but nothing special. There’s shaving kits, towels, haircare, skincare, tea, water, and yukata robes (the robes are not souvenirs). There’s a pool, a spa area, and a restaurant, which all have an additional fee. My room was clean, but I found some scuff marks on the walls and a crack in my bathtub. From Kyoto station you can see Kyoto tower but it’s not an amazing sight hahaha. It takes about 25 minutes to downtown Kyoto from the hote"

"The room we stayed in had more of a western fee to it (a chaise lounge and a single seat instead of the traditional Japanese table). Regardless, the room was very pretty with traditional Japanese wall paper, blinds and bathroom. The blinds were a tiny bit spotted with stains especially near the furniture which we overlooked, but the amenities were plentiful and offered in the room. The beds were extremely comfortable and chargers for phones were made readily available. Very nice to melt away in bed after a long day without needing to unpack chargers. The shared baths were also beautiful, large frosted glass surrounded the bath with an outdoor section that offered more of a nature environment. Since this is exclusive to guests there were times where I was there all by myself for a few minutes which brought deep appreciation. I did not indulge in the hotels food offerings, and nearby places closed around 11pm so nothing to eat until the morning when we stayed. We found delicious bites and a fair at a nearby temple/park in the morning and indulged in fresh sushi quick bites before heading to our next destination."

"This is a very new hotel, and the service is excellent, as is the cleanliness. They offer complimentary drinks daily. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but we were able to open two large suitcases by moving the chairs and table around. The only downside is the location. Although it's called the 'Kyoto Station Hotel,' it's not actually that close to Kyoto Station, nor are there any subway stations nearby. Getting to tourist attractions pretty much requires a taxi. It's a bit inconvenient for leisure travel, but I imagine it would be great for business trips. For reference, a taxi from the hotel to Shijo shopping street or Fushimi Inari Taisha costs around 2300 yen."
