Lovely accommodation - everything was well thought out and considered. Excellent location close to train station and Bikan Quarter. We had a wonderful time in Kurashiki. Will definitely stay here again. No washing machine / dryer - only thing that would make this accommodation even better. Thank you for having us!

We were traveling with a baby, so we were looking for a comfortable hotel that was kid-friendly, and we found this place! They had already pushed the beds together to prevent falls and even prepared a kids' mouthwash cup for us. The service was excellent, going above and beyond while still being discreet. The room was spacious and quiet, and we had an incredibly comfortable stay. The room included a refrigerator with a freezer, a toaster, a kettle, a hairdryer, and a curling iron. We'll definitely stay here again if we visit Kurashiki. The location was convenient, and even though we had a car, there was a coin-operated parking lot right in front specifically for kei cars, which was a lifesaver. We brought food back to the room to eat, and there's a large shopping complex on the opposite side of Kurashiki Station, so we had no trouble at all finding what we needed. Thank you so much!

What a wonderful experience! This is a truly traditional ryokan, located in the beautiful historic Bikan district. The private, in-room dinner was excellent and served and explained by a very kind lady. The atmosphere in the ryokan is very pleasant, almost serene, and the interior is beautiful with lots of polished wood. The room was more spacious than expected. We had forgotten to reserve parking in advance. Luckily, there was a spot, and a staff member offered to drive us. Very thoughtful.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I had a lovely interaction with one young lady from Jiangxi who even asked if I knew her home province – and yes, thanks to my middle school geography lessons, I certainly did! They offered a good selection of complimentary small drinks. There's a supermarket right across the street and an outlet mall nearby, making it very convenient for shopping.

It was a simple hotel with sufficient facilities. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The ice cream service after using the large public bath was also nice.

I'm a repeat guest here. This hotel is impeccably clean. It's a three-story building, so both the elevator and stairs are convenient to use. The front desk, dining facilities, towels, and amenities are all perfectly provided. On the third floor, you'll find a coin laundry, a beer vending machine, and recycling bins for bottles and cans. Each floor also has a used towel receptacle and a microwave. Honestly, it's a perfect hotel where absolutely nothing is lacking.

Stayed in a single room but actually the bed is more a double bed I think, big enough for a couple. Room is crammed but I expected it so no issue. The blind was so powerful it blocked out almost all light, when I woke up I thought it was still very early in the morning but actually it was 9am already! No complaints, seems like a relatively newer hotel, very near train station and within walking distance to the bikan area and outlet mall, recommended!

Located on Mt. Washu in Kojima, the views are absolutely stunning, offering panoramic sights of the Seto Inland Sea bridges. It's very close to Washuzan Highland Amusement Park, and they provide a shuttle service back to Kojima Station. The rooms are quite spacious by Japanese standards, and there's also a hot spring bath (onsen) available. While it's a bit on the pricey side, the service is impeccable.

Small chill hotel, 4min from the train station, free dinner in there evening. Booked this place because I wanted to go see the nearby bridge view - the hotel had great last minute availability and a free dinner after a day of sightseeing was a welcome surprise! I went to Kurashiki next morning and the direct bus leaves from a bus stop 2min away from the hotel - super convenient.

The hotel is located very close to JR Kurashiki station and also to the Bikan Historical Quarter. There's no shortage of restaurants and cafes nearby. The room I chose was very tight but decent for the price. What I missed was storage room, and also a table or drawers for smaller personal belongings, since my bag and stuff like wallets and phones either had to stay over the bed or on the floor. The hotel could also use a retrofit since the paintings and carpets are showing some age. I did enjoy my stay there but only considering the price I paid and also the fact that I didn't spend much time inside my room. For solo travelers on a budget who are only looking for a bed to sleep at night, this hotel is good enough.
