Great
FFishvibesThe hotel’s service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The scenery was breathtaking, offering stunning views that made every moment special. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding, featuring delicious dishes that showcased local flavors. To top it off, they surprised us by preparing a famous local cake to celebrate my wife’s birthday, which was a delightful and thoughtful touch. Everything was perfectly arranged, and their attention to detail truly impressed us. This hotel exceeded our expectations, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a remarkable experience.

XXingcanpeiganThe hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Takamatsu, through the shopping street. There's a bus stop nearby, and the hotel has a cozy decor. The self-service breakfast is a great way to save some money.

EEWongscapeHotel location is good where closed to the Takamatsu Port (9 min / 2.3km). If you are doing road trip, this hotel has the self owned car park, though the cost is a bit high - 1,500 Yen per night. During my visit, the Central Park was under construction, however, the view is still fine. Hot spring as the same across the brand Dormny Inn, very clean, spring water, well management.

KKar YeeIt’s about 10 mins walk from airport bus station and 26 mins walk to the ferry terminal. On the day of our arrival, we accidentally left our bag in the bus. With the help of google translate, the hotel staff understood our problem and efficiently communicated with the bus company, we managed to get our bag eventually. There’s coin washer/dryer (¥300/wash) and free coffee/green tea in the cafe, a shared kitchen where one can heat up food and stuff. We stayed 4 nights and we have enjoyed our stay. Would love to go back again!

GGuest UserThe facilities and location are good, but it is not a standard full-service hotel. It is a bit between a B&B and a hotel. The rooms are equipped with a kitchenette. If you want to cook something yourself, you can, but there is no service. There is only one service staff at the front desk downstairs, and he is not there 24 hours a day. He has a certain working hours. Outside of that working hours, there is no one downstairs, and you basically have to do everything yourself. We don't have a phone number in Japan, so calling a taxi is a bit tricky. They are friendly here, unlike regular hotels: helping customers call a taxi is their job. If you meet a staff member, you can ask him to help call a taxi, but if you meet him, there is nothing you can do. It is a little closer to go shopping in the city center from here, but it is not within walking distance. If you come with a family or a large number of people, it will be advantageous to live here. Three or four people can live in one room and the space is slightly larger. However, if I come next time, I will still choose to stay in another full-service hotel. The service is still complete in all aspects, much more comfortable, and convenient to the airport

DDaily happyDuring my recent trip to Japan, I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that also serves as a wedding venue — and from the moment I arrived, the level of service was simply impeccable. The staff were not only gracious and professional, but also went out of their way to assist me at every turn, despite my lack of Japanese language skills. Their warm hospitality left a lasting impression and made me feel truly welcomed and cared for. Though the room was compact, it was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully arranged. As a solo traveler, I found the space more than sufficient — cozy, comfortable, and a fantastic value for the price. It truly struck the perfect balance between affordability and quality. A special mention goes to the amenities: the hotel provides a well-stocked amenity station at the reception, where guests can freely pick up whatever they need — a detail that reflects the hotel’s attention to guest convenience. While the location is a little removed from the city center, this wasn’t an issue at all for me, as I had a rental car. The added bonus? Free parking on-site, which made my stay even more convenient and budget-friendly. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. With its blend of elegant ambiance, exceptional service, and thoughtful touches, it became a peaceful and comfortable base for my journey — one I would gladly return to and wholeheartedly recommend to fellow travelers.

WWeidaHotel staff at reception desk is super helpful and very patient to assist customer. Room is super clean and breakfast is nice. We stayed this hotel for 4 nights for a golf trip. During our stay, there were a couple issues we have with car rental companies. Staff was very kind to help in local languange conversation with call center and local police individuals to effectively get thing done. I cannot image how long it will take for us to communicate with non-Japanese lauguage... Good job Route Inn hotel.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, JR Takamatsu Station, Kotoden Takamatsu Chikko, and Takamatsu Port are all very close. I didn't see the legendary boss, the key was directly left at the front desk, and the room number was written on it. Overall, the price-performance ratio is very high, unless you stay in room 31, next to the bathroom, it is very lively at night, and there will be people chatting in the public lounge next to you at 2 am
