The room was very spacious, but the bed was a bit small. The shower water and air conditioning both worked great. The best part is that it's only a 50-meter walk from Songjeong Station on Metro Line 5, and it's just one stop to Gimpo Airport, which is incredibly convenient.

This hotel has 3 main advantages: 1. Excellent team of administrators, always ready to help 2. Location perfect: historic center of Insadon, near 3 metro stations, one literally opposite the hotel 2. Soft mattress, pillows and blankets. Ideal location to Bunchon khanok Village 15 minutes walk, to Mendon 20, all nearby. I will definitely stop again

The room is warm enough during winter Dec and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast choices are limited. Their cheesecake is nice. We can refill drinking water and hot water at the lobby receptionist area. We are sad that we couldn't have the hanbok experience during our visit. It is supposed to provide free hanbok experience for photo shooting. They just told me that it was sent for cleaning. We stayed 3 nights, and the hanboks are not available :(
Lastly, the rate for a luxury room is a bit over priced. Their location is able to walk to nearby attractions but we have to walk a lot. 15-20mins walk to hanok village.

[Crying emoji] Hotels really hiked up their prices for the May Day holiday. I wanted to stay somewhere close to Myeongdong, but also cheap and clean. I blindly booked this place on Trip.com, 4 nights for over 2400 RMB. It opened in '26, so there weren't many reviews yet.
[Good luck emoji] Today's my first day checking in, and the process was smooth. Before arrival, they email you your room number and a QR code for 24-hour self-check-in. The front desk guy was really nice. The guesthouse is located above a shopping area, very close to the Airport Limousine bus 6002 (get off at Jongno 2-ga) and also very close to the subway. Downstairs, there are Olive Young and CU convenience stores, which is super convenient. The room is well-equipped, though a bit small. It has slippers and a hairdryer. There's a hot/cold water dispenser and a coffee machine in the hallway. They also offer free umbrella rentals. I'll stop here for now and update as I stay.
—Second Edit—
Today's check-out day, and my overall impression is that the location is really convenient. Myeongdong isn't far to walk. Housekeeping was a bit so-so. If you hang the 'make up my room' sign, they'll tidy up, change towels and toiletries, make the bed, refill water, and empty the trash. However, they don't clean the floors or remove hair from the bathroom. After 9 PM, it's self-service. If you lose your room card, you can get a new one from the self-service machine. Check-out is also self-service.
Downstairs is Korea Youth Street. Stepping out of the hotel, both left and right, you'll find Olive Young, convenience stores, coffee shops, and tons of restaurants. The side closer to the river leads to Myeongdong and has a large bakery/coffee shop. The other side is Jonggak subway station, and there's another large Olive Young there, plus many coffee chains. There's also a 24-hour Vietnamese pho place, but it felt just okay, probably more suitable if you're rushing to the airport.

Easy to access location. It is not far from subway station. There are instant noodles, coffee, cereal, milk and bread available. There is 7-eleven nearby which is quite convenient.
Point is deducted because there is no customer service available 24/7 and some staffs cannot communicate fluently in English. The air-conditioner in my room was out of order at night time. After I walked down to call the staff who was working remotely. He acknowledged the problem and told me to wait as he would call manager. Then I walked back to my room and waited...and nobody showed up. So I slept without air-conditioner that night 😓😓.

The hotel is right near Exit 7 of Euljiro 3-ga Station. You go down a narrow street and you'll see the building. Take the elevator to the 5th floor, and the front desk is right there. When I checked in, an older gentleman explained everything in Japanese. The room was small, but since I was alone, it wasn't an issue. The shower and toilet are in the same space, which was a bit inconvenient when showering. It was either scalding hot or freezing cold, and once I turned it off, only cold water came out, so it was quite chilly. The TV didn't work, and there was no AC, but there was a heater. There was only one blanket, so it was incredibly cold in winter. The lady at the front desk didn't speak Japanese, so we used a translation app for English and Korean, but she was very kind and helpful.

The hotel was very clean and the location was good. However, the hotel facilities are [BLANK - The original text is incomplete here, suggesting a negative adjective is missing, e.g., 'terrible', 'outdated', 'poor']. We used the self-service machine for check-in, but to even get to the machine, you need a room key. Then, it asked for a reservation number, but I couldn't find the correct one; it was completely different from what Ctrip sent in the email. This whole process made us struggle in the rain for over half an hour late at night. When we finally contacted the self-service machine's customer service, the agent was very impatient. Then, when trying to retrieve the key, two key cards got stuck in the same slot and wouldn't come out. The customer service agent again complained impatiently. Honestly, the check-in experience at this hotel was just too much hassle.

Location: insadong is 15 min walking distance to Bukchon Village and palaces. 20 min to Myeongdong. 2 min to subway. Very centrally located.
Staff: very helpful. On the day we had to leave at 6:30 to go on bus trip, they were able to arrange pre-packed sandwiches.
Amenities: ramen and ice cream everyday after public bath. Our kids love it.
Suggestions: to provide kids slippers. The onsen is a public bath, not real onsen water if this is of your priority
We had a great time!! It is highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Insadong Crown Hotel during my solo trip to Seoul, and it was the perfect choice. As a solo traveler, location and safety are very important to me — and this hotel delivered on both.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Insadong, within walking distance of traditional shops, cozy cafés, street food spots, and subway stations. It made exploring the city so easy, even on my own. I always felt safe walking around the area, even in the evening.
The room was clean, comfortable, and just the right size for one person. After long days of sightseeing, it was nice to return to a quiet and cozy space to rest. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever I had questions about directions or recommendations.
Overall, I highly recommend Insadong Crown Hotel for anyone traveling solo. It offers comfort, convenience, and great value in one of Seoul’s most charming neighborhoods. I would definitely stay here again on my next solo adventure! 🇰🇷✨

The location is incredibly convenient. You can walk to Insadong Culture Street, and Gyeongbokgung Palace is nearby. There's also Unhyeongung Palace, which is free to enter, and the Korean Music History Museum, also free, with easily accessible restrooms and water fountains. Right below the hotel, there's a convenience store, and out on the main street, you'll find plenty of food options and a MEGA Coffee. Plus, a brightly lit building next door makes it feel very safe, even if you return late. You even pass a 119 fire station on the way from Anguk Station Subway Exit 4 to the hotel, which adds to the feeling of security. There are also direct airport buses nearby, which is a huge convenience.
The hotel staff at the reception were very friendly. You can store your luggage for free if you check in early or after checking out. The lobby on the first floor also has a water dispenser and restrooms. I found the lighting in the room to be ample, and they even provided amenities like razors and toothbrushes. The room I stayed in this time was also spacious enough. As for cleanliness, I'd say it was okay and acceptable. Regarding temperature, it couldn't be adjusted independently and relied on floor heating. Occasionally, it felt a bit chilly, but it was still acceptable.

Great
GGuest UserLove the location. Smack in the middle of Hongdae and easily accessible to Hongik University Metro station and to all the hip and bustling korean eateries!. Alot of shopping including a few Olive Youngs, medicube and Blue Elephant on the same street. Spoilt for choice for young and hipster fashion as well as slightly higher end retail along the main roads. Hotel service is great and service staff have been very helpful. General cleanliness of the hotel room is good and chamberlady will refill the bottles of water and change the towels punctually everyday. There is a mini gym and a chinese dim sum restaurant inside the hotel and a very good beef soup just directly opposite the hotel which we had on our last day before getting a cab to the airport.
TTharunKlWe had an exceptional stay at Nine Tree Premier Hotel Insadong by Parnas. The biggest highlight is its unbeatable central location everything you could possibly need is right at your doorstep. From shopping and great food options to easy access to buses and the subway, it truly doesn’t get more convenient than this.
The hotel is modern, very clean, and well-maintained, making it perfect for a comfortable stay, especially when traveling with family. The vibrant Insadong area adds even more charm, with plenty to explore just by stepping out.
The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist, which made our experience seamless.
While it’s not overly pricey, it offers excellent value for money and is absolutely worth what you pay.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Seoul!
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts convenient transportation. You can take the airport bus to and from the airport, and the drop-off point is also where you catch the return bus, which is super handy. I took bus 6015 and got off at Myeongdong Station. After getting off, you'll see Subway Exit 8. Head towards Exit 8, and at the first intersection, turn right and walk straight. (Make sure you don't go past the CU convenience store; it's actually right opposite Exit 8.) It's quite close, just a few hundred meters walk. The hotel is also very close to our embassy, which gave me extra peace of mind. Every morning, I could see the embassy from my window seat. The room was a bit small; opening a 28-inch suitcase made it feel a bit cramped, but the hotel's cleanliness was good. The soundproofing was excellent; even though it's in lively Myeongdong, it was very quiet at night, which was fantastic.
GGuest UserMy stay at HOTEL BOTANIK's Deluxe King Room in Myeongdong exceeded my expectations. The room had a modern, apartment-style feel with brand new facilities and full amenities, making it ideal for those planning a longer stay in Seoul.
The in-room amenities were definitely the highlight. The air conditioning had a control panel for temperature adjustment, and it came equipped with an AirDresser, a washer-dryer combo, a separate fridge and freezer, an induction hob, and a microwave oven. Inside the cabinets, there was even a wine cooler, wine glasses, and mugs, giving it the feel of a small boutique apartment. Charging was also convenient, with both USB and Type-C outlets available, and the bidet toilet had a full range of functions. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation design, and the water pressure was consistent, making for a very comfortable shower.
However, there were a few things to note:
The kitchenware provided was quite basic, with only two plates, which might be insufficient if you plan to do a lot of cooking. Also, laundry detergent wasn't provided in the room, but you could purchase it at the front desk if needed.
There are several construction sites near the hotel, but surprisingly, the soundproofing was excellent during my stay, with no noticeable noise at night. My sleep quality was quite peaceful.
Overall, this hotel is more of a ”high-functional type” accommodation. The facilities are new and highly practical, feeling more like staying in a well-designed apartment than a traditional hotel. It made for a very comfortable stay.
GgobacktonovemberThe hotel is very nice + very newly designed hotel.
Pros:
-nearby the sinsa station/area (but required around 5-7 minutes walk there)
-Big and cozy bed for two people
-Toilet with good warm water
-Good amenities
-Good space for 2 luggages to fit (big ones)
-Has a very nice cafe on the rooftop to see seoul city
-Able to see seoul towel from our room!
What to improve/Take note:
-the staff service at night can’t really speak english so sometimes I don’t understand what they say abiutbthe deposit when checking in.
-No microwave/only fridge available
-The walkway is actually on the slope/hills (the picture doesn’t show that much that the hotel is on the hill so anyone who has big luggages or on snow time it is recommended to book an uber on the winter time)
YYan-ZhengThis hotel is super close to Seoul Station, accessible from either Exit 1 or 7 (see picture 4). We had an overnight layover before catching the KTX, so staying here was incredibly convenient. You can even walk here along the Seoullo 7017 Skygarden. Plus, there's Lotte Outlets and a supermarket nearby for some shopping. We booked a family twin room with a queen bed (1.5m) and a single bed (1.1m), perfect for three people, and the space was just right. Check-out is at 12 PM, and at around 700 [currency, presumably KRW], it's really good value for money. The service was good, though we didn't get a chance to use any other facilities!
GGuest UserThis place offers a keyless entry, a kitchenette with a full size fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. The washing machine was on uneven ground, so it literally walks out of its compartment during the spin cycle. The place doesn't offer any crockeries, plates, cutleries or detergents for the kitchenette to be functional.
The hotel shares a lobby with another accommodation, so it can be confusing checking in. It is located close to public transport, and Myeongdong shopping street is about 10-15 min walk away or 1 bus stop.
The front desk will not call taxis for patrons, even if it's to the airport. So make sure you have k.ride setup and ready to go.
GGuest UserIt's always a nice stay here! The location is very great, olive young is downstairs , and the subway station also downstairs, it's near the airport bus stop too! They have bidet and the toilet is scpacious, the room also spacious, you can store many luggages, they have tables and chairs too for you to eat or have some work, their receptionist lobby and all the staff also very helpful during my stay, definitely recommended, not to mention they have 24h convenient store at the 3rd floor and laundry room
MmunimunitantanThe room looks exactly like the pictures. The bed was really comfortable and clean, with no strange smells (housekeeping came daily to clean and empty the bins). The bathroom was spacious, making for a pleasant shower experience. We chose a quad room, and there was enough space to spread out my luggage. There are also lockers for valuables, but you need to bring your own padlock. The accommodation is on the third floor with no elevator, so it's a bit of a struggle if you have large luggage like I did. Also, the beds don't have curtains, which can make you feel a bit exposed. Since the room is small, any noise, like using the toilet in the middle of the night, is amplified, and I worried about disturbing others. However, for the price, I'm very satisfied! No complaints at all!
AAllysh@comfortable place...close to dongmyo flea market..have to wait for more money because it's random when walking, wash your eyes at dongmyo flea market..close to laundry..wanting to wash clothes in the middle of the night is ok..,,😂😂😂
