Amazing
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay. The apartment is beautiful, very clean, and has an amazing ocean view. Everything we needed was provided. The owner was friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. The location is excellent - close to shops, restaurants, and the airport. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserThis hostel is located within walking distance of Yongduam Rock, in a very quiet neighborhood with a school nearby. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and Mir had all the necessary facilities. It wasn't too crowded at night. I went for walks along the nearby coastline every morning and evening – the scenery was beautiful (even though it was super windy)! I envy people who live by the sea!

GGuest UserThe room quality is on par with budget hotels like Home Inn or even older Crown Plaza hotels in China, so don't expect too much when you book here. The cleanliness is about the same. It's comparable to a room under 200 RMB in a first-tier city or around 100 RMB in a second-tier city.
The wardrobe, desk, sofa, and even the bedding all look quite old and well-used. Although it states it was renovated in 2023, it still feels run-down, more like a renovation from around 2014. The cleanliness reflects this; there were water stains on the sink, and while there's a bathtub, I didn't dare use it. Luckily, I didn't see any obvious mold spots.
The front desk staff's attitude was neither particularly good nor particularly bad.
Overall, if you're booking this room, don't compare it to hotels priced above 400 RMB in China. Instead, think of it as a 200 RMB room in a first-tier city or a 100 RMB room in a second or third-tier city, with a renovation from around 2014.

ちちなみOur flight back from Jeju Island was early in the morning, so I booked the Lotte City Hotel near the airport. It's about a five or six-minute drive, and a taxi only cost around 20-25 RMB. Getting a taxi even at 5 AM was very convenient. The front desk staff were all very friendly. Downstairs, there's a Lotte Duty Free shop, though it doesn't have a huge selection. If you go out and turn right at the small intersection, there's an Olive Young, which is handy for restocking. The Shilla Duty Free is only about a ten-minute walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants along the way.

GGuest UserI specifically chose a hotel on Baojian Road, and this one has family rooms that are quite spacious. Shilla Duty-Free is just diagonally across the street.
The hotel is about 2.5 kilometers from the airport, and the lobby facilities are quite comprehensive. It caters to a mix of business travelers, conference attendees, banquet guests, and leisure tourists, making it a well-rounded and modern hotel.
During this trip, it rained for part of the time and was quite cool, so I didn't get to experience the outdoor sports facilities. I hope to have the chance to come back again next time.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is great. Right outside, there's a bus stop for the 600 bus to the airport, and 7-Eleven, CU, and GS25 convenience stores are just by the entrance. It's also a short walk to Baojian Street. The room cleanliness was just so-so, probably on par with a 3-star hotel in China, but they cleaned it daily. If you opted out of cleaning, they'd still leave towels and water outside your door. For just over 200, the price for this location is excellent. The self-check-in and check-out are very convenient for introverts, and there's also luggage storage. However, I booked a double room but got a twin room upon check-in. When I scanned the QR code to contact staff, they said my original booking was for a twin room and that this was actually an upgrade. I'm not sure where the mix-up happened, but the room was spacious, which was nice.

KKuangxiaodemayiThe hotel is conveniently located about 2.4km from the airport and offers breakfast. It's a typical budget business hotel often used by tour groups. The rooms are small, and it can get crowded, so the value for money isn't great. However, the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and provide directions to tourist attractions after looking them up online. It's also about a 20-minute drive to the Olle Trail, accessible via subway line 16.

GGuest UserGreat Location, But Key Issues Need Attention.
**The Bad:**
Unfortunately, several issues impacted our comfort:
1. Construction Noise: Our room faced an active construction site. Work started very early in the morning, which severely disturbed our sleep.
2. Poor Cleanliness: The wardrobe had not been properly cleaned– we found layers of dust and leftover items from previous guests.
3. Damp Towels: Bathroom towels felt damp and had a musty smell, likely from not being dried thoroughly after washing.
4. Uncomfortable Bed: The pillows were overly thick, while the mattress was too soft. This combination caused back and neck pain after few nights sleep.
**The Good:**
1. The location is excellent– very close to the city center, bus stops, and the airport, making it extremely convenient for travelers.
2. Self check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, which we appreciated.

GGuest UserThis place is honestly not as bad as the reviews make it seem. The room is your average Korean hostel room (no curtains tho). The bathroom is a bit messy but overall not dirty. The location is very convenient if you are planning to explore the island by bus.
For the very little price paid, I would stay at this hostel again!

HHerriesThe seaview from the room was awesome. Hotel located on the coastal road, there are many nice cafes & restaurants. Room is big enough for 4 of us. Coffee provided at the lobby. Reception will be closed at night better inform if you check-in late. (You might not able to find Fantastic ocean view Sydney hotel in Navar map or GPS - just look for Sydney hotel)
