"Located near Hamdeok Beach, the off-season price was great. The hotel is tucked away in an alley and has a parking tower, but there aren't many flat parking spaces and they're hard to get. There's a free public parking lot not too far away.
The front desk staff were very friendly and explained how to use the parking facilities.
The breakfast was a highlight – clean, hygienic, and with a diverse selection. Even though there was only one person working in the restaurant during the off-season, she was always smiling, which brightened my mood!
The room was large, but the design lacked a bit of privacy (perhaps suitable for couples). The toilet area with a clear glass partition was a bit awkward. There were no hangers provided in the room, and the power outlets were strangely placed and blocked by furniture. The sink was designed too low – I don't know who designed it, but they should be fired.
Overall, staff/breakfast get 5 stars, location 4, and room amenities/design 3. It would still be a good choice if visiting in the summer."
"I'll definitely book here again next time. Right outside the door, a CU convenience store is to the left, and a street full of food options is to the right. There's a Korean fried chicken place with unbelievably delicious cheese-flavored chicken; we ate there multiple times and even got takeout once. The 202 bus stop is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk to the right. The area itself is quiet, the room was comfortable and spotless, and the balcony offered stunning sea views. On our last day, we stepped out around 10 PM and were pleasantly surprised by how lively the evenings are. There were many shops and restaurants open, and we had an amazing time drinking soju and eating Korean BBQ – the experience was just perfect! Overall, the location is truly excellent. (P.S. We even ran into many energetic and 'cool' Korean high school students on a study trip staying at the hotel!) Despite the rain throughout our entire trip, this accommodation completely made up for it, and we still thoroughly enjoyed exploring the surrounding area."
"This place is fantastic! It's right across from Hamdeok Beach – just cross the road and you're on the sand. I'm not sure why the rating is so low; the hygiene was perfectly fine. We arrived early, dropped our bags in the lobby, and immediately jumped into the ocean. The best time to swim is around 6 or 7 PM when the tide comes in; it's less crowded then too. Later in the evening, the hotel's ground-floor bar has live music, which creates a great atmosphere. We honestly didn't want to leave. Plus, there are plenty of dining options and conveniences right downstairs, much more vibrant than Gwakji Beach, where we stayed afterward."
"This hotel boasts a great location, just 16 km from the airport and right across from Hamdeok Beach. You step out and see the ocean immediately, so the views are fantastic. The room layout, well, it's a bit quirky. The bathroom and toilet are separate, with the shower area situated between the bed and the window, which can make the room quite humid after a shower. The bed is pushed against the wall, so you can't lie in bed and see the ocean directly. However, there's a small balcony where you can enjoy coffee with a sea view. The front desk staff gave me a special Olive Young discount coupon which was really useful! The hotel is also a five-minute walk from Olive Young, and they even offer a complimentary Americano."
"The bathroom and room were quite clean; I didn't notice any bad smells like some reviews mentioned. The bed wasn't as comfortable as a 5-star hotel, but it was acceptable for me, and I slept well. For the price, it's excellent value. My favorite thing about this place is its location right by Hamdeok Beach, making it very convenient to get to the beach. There are also plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. You can even enjoy breakfast with a sea view. My room didn't face the sea, so I couldn't see it, even though I requested a sea-view room during check-in. I'm not sure if they didn't have any available or didn't understand my request, but I didn't get one. Otherwise, everything else was great."
"Our group of five (two families) spent 7 days in Jeju, staying at two hotels, and this was the first one we checked into. The hotel's location isn't ideal; it's about a 20-minute walk to Hamdeok Beach. On the plus side, there's a BHC fried chicken restaurant and a CU convenience store right next door. We were quite satisfied with the hotel's cleanliness and facilities; it was spotless and well-maintained.
However, to be honest, we were quite dissatisfied with the front desk service. No matter what the issue was, their immediate reaction seemed to be to say no. It felt as if they might have perceived us as being overly demanding Chinese guests. For example, in my sister's family's room, the toilet wouldn't flush in the morning (note: their toilets here are electronic with automatic flushing). When we contacted the front desk, they informed us that maintenance staff wouldn't be on duty until 11 AM, so the issue couldn't be addressed until then. Since everyone needed to use the restroom that morning, we kept pressing for a solution. Eventually, the front desk staff consulted with a nearby cleaning lady. The cleaning lady then simply turned around, picked up a plunger (which was conveniently located right next to the front desk, implying this is a common issue), and fixed the toilet in a matter of seconds."
"Facilities: Excellent, it has all the essentials. There's a 7-Eleven right outside which is very convenient.
Cleanliness: I'm not exaggerating when I say this is one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed in. There wasn't even dust on the walls; every single spot was spotless. The bed looked so clean, it was like no one had ever slept in it. The cleanliness genuinely amazed me.
Environment: It's right next to Hamdeok Beach, about 1 kilometer from the scenic area. It's roughly a two-turn walk to get there. Downstairs, there are two bus stops; we took a direct bus to Udo Island, so transportation is very good.
Service: Excellent, nothing to fault. If you put out the 'do not disturb' sign, they even leave water and fresh towels outside your door. It's the first time I've seen such thoughtful service."
"This guesthouse truly exceeded my expectations! I booked a suite for the photo opportunities, and even though it was cloudy both days, the spacious suite was incredibly comfortable. The bed is huge, and you can watch the ocean right from it. The room is fully equipped with a washing machine, microwave, and daily essentials, plus there's a big terrace. It would be lovely to sit out there, enjoy the sea view, and have breakfast on a nice day. The ocean is right outside, and Hamdeok Beach is only about a 15-20 minute walk away. I didn't see the big dog mentioned in other reviews, but there was a super cute small dog. The large lawn in front of the building is also very pleasant to look at, but unfortunately, the weather wasn't great. I'd definitely come back to this guesthouse again!"
"The hotel room was suitable as a simple stay for the night. We appreciated the location right by the beach, near souvenir gift stores and nice eateries. Whilst it’s a more old-fashioned and vintage-esque hotel, the room was comfortable and the shower pressure was lovely. Unfortunately, the service was questionable. My friend and I had an incident in the late night around 3am and 4am with knocking from a Korean male neighbour. We’re not sure of his intentions as he spoke in Korean and could not understand, but it was a very frightening experience. It took several calls to the front desk to finally get through to staff and when I explained there’s a man knocking on our door outside — they did not show any sense of urgency or took the matter seriously by helping us to check our floor. Instead, the male hotel staff said he’s sleeping and never came to our room to knock, which confirmed it was a stranger. When we asked for security or female staff to assist us, the male staff said there was no one else except male staff. We ended up staying up in fear and had disrupted sleep. In the morning, a female staff at the front desk translated to us that the man who knocked was a “student with disability”. A very strange experience and poor explanation given, there should have been more efforts to help make us feel safe and comfortable — especially being two females travelling together. Stay safe to future guests, and please latch your door and check the balcony is locked."

Amazing
GGuest UserAbsolutely fantastic! The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. It came fully equipped with pots, pans, and all the cooking utensils we needed, which was great – we even cooked ramen in the room, a really wonderful experience. There was a lovely painting in the hallway, I think it was introducing Jeju Island? And to my surprise, we could even watch Chinese historical dramas on TV, haha!
The owner was incredibly friendly and explained all the room's features in Mandarin, which my mom could easily understand. We also got to try the owner's special banana milk, which instantly boosted our stay!
Most importantly, there were huge floor-to-ceiling windows offering amazing ocean views. You truly get a superb experience even without leaving the room. Just outside the room, there's also an observation deck that's perfect for photos. Although it rained for the first two days of our trip to Jeju, we saw a beautiful sunset on the third evening, and the last day was completely clear and sunny, making for a rich experience overall.
There's a McDonald's right next door (cash or card only) and a cafe with delicious coffee. Plenty of convenience stores and restaurants are within walking distance too. Getting to the city center is easy by taxi, or you can take a bus if you're not in a hurry – both are very convenient.
Overall, it was absolutely wonderful! It's been a long time since I've had such an enjoyable trip, and I'm so grateful to the owner for providing such a fantastic place to stay.
GGuest UserThis hostel is located within walking distance of Yongduam Rock, in a very quiet neighborhood with a school nearby. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and Mir had all the necessary facilities. It wasn't too crowded at night. I went for walks along the nearby coastline every morning and evening – the scenery was beautiful (even though it was super windy)! I envy people who live by the sea!
RRRRainstarI stayed during cherry blossom season, and it was super convenient to walk to Jeonnong-ro. If you're heading to the duty-free shop in the new city, it's just a five-minute walk to the bus stop. The road in front of the hotel wasn't congested either, making public transport and taxis easily accessible. Everything was great, except for getting to the old city beach area, which was a bit inconvenient (we opted for a taxi).
GGuest UserI was very satisfied and will definitely choose this hotel first next time. It's conveniently located, within walking distance to Shilla Duty Free and Baojian Road. The best part is that I didn't need a power adapter; Chinese plugs worked directly. Just a small suggestion: the scent in the 6th-floor reception area could be changed. The current one is a bit too sweet and not very sophisticated; I got a headache after sitting there for a while.
MMailaoyeThe hotel's location is excellent, right across from Shilla Duty Free and very close to the Baojian Road pedestrian street. You can easily walk to all the nearby shops and restaurants. There's also an 'About Coffee' shop next door, which is quite charming. It's super convenient to get to Emart and the Hyatt. Overall, a fantastic stay!
GGuest UserFacilities: The smart toilet and Wi-Fi were great, but the shower being in the bathtub was a bit inconvenient, and the bathroom was a little small – I had to dry my hair outside. There's a mirror directly opposite the bed, so be aware if that bothers you.
Hygiene: The hygiene was very good; the room was clean and tidy overall, and housekeeping did a thorough job.
Environment: The location is excellent, close to Baojian Road, and an easy walk to both duty-free shops. There's a 7-Eleven right in the hotel, souvenir shops nearby, a CU convenience store across the street, and it's very close to the airport. Overall, it's very convenient.
Service: I requested not to have an end room when booking, but that's what I got. There was a slight smell in the hallway. The front desk staff weren't very communicative, and luggage storage was just next to the front desk, unsupervised.
HHannah xuuThe first room we checked into had some unidentified sticky residue on the bathroom wall, and the AC was broken in both rooms we were shown. After an hour and a half of troubleshooting, they realized it couldn't be fixed and moved us to a much better room. The new room was great; the air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was quiet at night. Next time, I'd definitely choose to stay in this upgraded room type. Overall, it's a hotel with good value, a great location, and excellent service. The self-service kiosks were also very convenient to use.
AAnonymous UserThe first thing I’m really impressed with is the excellent service. They reply to messages very quickly, and they answer every question. If you have any issues, you can contact them anytime and they’re always helpful.
The hotel is located right in the city center, with lots of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Even though I traveled alone, I still felt safe the whole time.
The room is spacious and comfortable. It’s also super convenient for shopping because everything is within walking distance thanks to the central location.
GGuest UserThe Philippine receptionist is so nice and she get up to call taxi for me at 5am, the location is grate near by the airport ,restaurant and also daiso but room and any amenities a little dirty and old. I got kind mold smell in my room that why here perfect for some people have early morning flight, not perfect for long term. It’s perfect for the cost
HHerriesThe seaview from the room was awesome. Hotel located on the coastal road, there are many nice cafes & restaurants. Room is big enough for 4 of us. Coffee provided at the lobby. Reception will be closed at night better inform if you check-in late. (You might not able to find Fantastic ocean view Sydney hotel in Navar map or GPS - just look for Sydney hotel)
