The location is fantastic, Haeundae Beach is right on the doorstep, and there are tons of restaurants nearby. A taxi to the airport during off-peak hours took just over 40 minutes, which was quicker than I expected. The airport shuttle bus stop is also close to the hotel. There's a supermarket and a coffee shop downstairs, and the subway station is a 10-minute walk away. The room was clean, but they don't provide slippers or toiletries, so remember to bring your own.

I stayed in Busan for four days, in a capsule bed. The soundproofing was excellent; I slept so soundly I wouldn't wake up even without an alarm. There's also a gym on the second floor, and the breakfast was great. It was very clean and hygienic, and the staff were all very warm and patient. It's only a few hundred meters from the subway station, and just a few stops to Haeundae, which is super convenient. If I go to Busan again, I'd definitely stay here if I have the chance.

standard one-night stop hotel on a budget pros: - minutes walk to SongJeong Beach, many restaurants near by (Korean, Vietnamese), many cute coffee shops nearby - 2someplace, holly coffee, meret, and so on. - luggage storage - nice and polite front desk who can speak just enough English to make things easy for check-in and check-out - my room comes with a big TV with internet and 2 good PCs - quiet area, no noise, quite peaceful - the Beauty Box provides you many small items for your convenient stay, a lot more than other luxury expensive hotels in Busan (such as toothbrushes and toothpaste), with no extra charge cons: - it’s an old hotel, so expect nothing fancy here - expect no view. the window is facing the sea, yes. but you won’t be able to see the sea due to the distance and the mosquito net that blocks the view (still better than facing a wall or another building) - PC technical issues! i was able to play 1 game of LoL, and then the internet drops / other technical problems happened, and i couldn’t play LoL at all for the rest of the night. - really late check-in time (5PM), but at least they keep my luggages conclusion: good cheap place for a one night rest. bang for the buck.

Overall it was clean but there were some clumps of hair in the little hallway and bathroom. I loved the location, it was super close to the beach and all other activities were within walking distance. It was my own mistake that I didn't realize how far it was from the station and Naver keeps recommending to take the bus. If you have luggage, for your own sanity please take the metro!

I had a really great stay here. I was hesitant to book hostels because it was my first time traveling solo, but this place is the place to be. I love the lounge area because the area is big and comfortably welcomes you. The room I had stayed in was the 8 bunk bed room and it was really spacious inside. I requested a bottom bunk bed and I was accommodated with it. The bunk beds were spacious as well, but the wifi was kinda laggy in our room. There's also a GS25 just across the street. The only think I'm sad about is the lack of laundry facility. But overall, I would recommend this place, and I would also book here again some time in the future.

GGuest User 2026.02.23
The location is excellent, right inside a traditional market. One alley leads to the main street of Haeundae, and the other to the traditional market, which is incredibly convenient. It's also very close to the beach and the subway, making it super accessible. The front desk staff are friendly and you can store your luggage, though there isn't a dedicated baggage storage area. There's an elevator from the 1st to the 6th floor, but no elevator to the 7th floor. Rooms don't come with any complimentary toiletries, so you'll need to buy your own. The hotel does send a message beforehand to inform you of this. The bathroom only had two used bars of soap and toothpaste, so definitely bring your own supplies as no shower gel or shampoo is provided. The room has a refrigerator and a stove, so you can do some light cooking. I did find some leftover water and food in the fridge from the previous guest that hadn't been cleaned out.

The hotel has a great location, right by the beach. The rooms are very clean, with windows facing the sea. There's a coffee machine, water dispenser, and microwave on the second floor. There are many restaurants, snack shops, coffee shops, and a supermarket downstairs. The hotel is quite close to Lotte Outlet Mall, about 1.5 kilometers away, within walking distance. Songjeong Beach is nice, and many people surf there. Bamboo Island Park is a 10-minute walk from the hotel, with beautiful scenery. Yonggungsa Temple is about 2 kilometers from the hotel, also with beautiful scenery. Yonggungsa Temple and the outlet mall are very close. You can take a sightseeing train from near the hotel to Haeundae Beach.

The pool water was so dirty, I got in and immediately got out. There were three college-aged guys in the room next to ours on the 13th floor who were yelling and jumping on the beds until 4:30 AM. The building was shaking! The soundproofing doesn't seem to be very good, but I'll chalk that up to bad luck with room assignments. I barely slept, constantly cursing in my mind. Plus, it took exactly an hour to get my car out of the parking garage. On the upside, the bedding was clean and the water, being from a hot spring, felt nice.

The hotel’s location was excellent — literally just a minute away from the beautiful beach, which was a huge plus. However, the entrance to the reception on the 9th floor was a bit disappointing. Check-in was very smooth and efficient, but the room was not what I had expected. It seemed outdated and in need of renovation, with older furniture that required some repairs. To be honest, I wouldn’t strongly recommend this hotel. However, if you’re traveling on a budget, you could consider it because the location is excellent. That said, we had a wonderful time in Busan, which was the most important thing.

GGuest UserJust a minute from the subway and convenient to go to any attractions in Haeundae. However, it takes plenty of time to get a lift up or down as too many hotel guests share in the same building. As such, it is not easy to get in the lift particularly during the peak hours. The hotel room size is average but the blanket is a bit hot to cover. We were staying 2 nights there, the 1st night is so far so good. However the 2nd night is a nightmare and we could not slept for the entire night. As the stove ventilation pipe has ”tart tart” sound continously since 23:05 till more than an hour. We have not used it before but the sound came out suddenly. However, the receptionist desk closed since 23:00 so we have no way to voice out our condition. Honestly, we will not put it in our list in the future.

GGuest UserThe room was quite clean, though very small. The location is incredibly convenient; you can see the hotel just to the left of Busan Station Exit 1, only about a 100-meter walk. It's also right next to Busan Subway Station Exit 6, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is really handy. The downside is the poor soundproofing; there was intermittent noise from what sounded like a motor, and the toilet flushing was extremely loud.

GGalaxyZView - If you are keen in wharf / harbor view, this hotel (see images) is along the harbour next to wharf, Songdo, so there is no beach on the wharf. At 4am you can hear commotion at the wharf, interesting for a different view from city or sea view. Nearest Songdo beach is still at distance, it is not at door step. Booked a large room for family of 4, comes with 1 Queen bed, 1 single, the last pax ended on the floor with Futons. (Although I indicated i had 4 pax, housekeeper does not seem to be aware, replenishes only for 3 pax?). Small hand towels are issued as bath towel, just be aware. Quite common for smaller hotel accommodation here (inn, AirBnB). Floor heater, water heater works, daily housekeeping. Has bath tub not used at all for winter. Good balcony for sitting in the cold to watch the wharf bustle. Pax using futon had a few bites by bugs, not sure if flew in from outside the room, else the room is clean. Nice open terrace at roof top with telescope to look into Lotte mall at distance, and the open sea after the bridge on the right. Complimentary breakfast offering at basement kitchen is available until 9AM (not 9.30am) - kitchen staff will remind you to finish up at close to 9am, and please clear your dishes at collection area, discard leftovers, return cultery, utensils. Breakfast spread : Cereal with milk (only on weekend), ONE slice of toast with jam, egg/s, one fruit or yoghurt, one coffee/tea, ONE juice, one instant noodles (if you want). Only tried for first morning, other mornings has similar menu on the wall. Staff - looks like husband wife team. Friendly to greet at reception at upper level. Safety wise - As accommodation is located at harbour with large prime movers and containers movements, it is better to travel in groups to look out for each other. I note the drivers are generally careful to look out for pedestrians on the harbour, wharf. Can be a bit dark at night in the surrounding area of the accommodation. Plus point - Double entrance door which allow you to lock inner door in case main door is being accessed externally. Location - About 20mins or so by bus to Busan shopping area where the crowd is. Not too far, The more popular tourist spots, beach sites is further up northeast at Haeundae beach, which is about 1 hour bus ride away. Pricing -, for the pricing, there are better known hotel chains going at more economic rates. So need to do proper research before booking. Else pleasant stay, simple, large room, no fanfare.

GGuest UserThe hotel was a bit hard to find since it's tucked away in an alley, but it's really close to the main Haeundae road. It was super convenient for grabbing a meal and then heading straight to Haeundae beach. Being a new building, it was very clean and had a great interior. The only minor issue was a slight new-house smell that made my eyes sting a little, which was a bit unpleasant.

GGuest UserThe hotel was location is an excellent location. Very convenient and nearby to shops and the haeundae beach with mrt less than 7 mins walk which makes it very convenient. I booked a twin room - double and single bed. Room is new, clean and a good size for city. This room does not provide unobstructed Seaview. Whats disappointing: 1. We needed to change cash for laundry which was part of the hotel. The reception say no change. 2. We initially reserve 2 night then extend a further 2 night's. We requested for cleaning on 3rd day. Whilst they replace the towels, wash the cups and provided free bottles of water, - bed not made, - floor not vacumn( hairs visible) and - toilet not cleaned ( hair in the shower cubicle)

GGuest UserI recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Elephant in Busan, and overall, it was a memorable experience. Located conveniently within the city, the hotel serves as a great base for travelers looking to explore Busan’s vibrant neighborhoods, beaches, and culinary spots. From check-in to check-out, my stay was smooth, and I found the hotel to be a solid mix of comfort, cleanliness, and character. Check-in & First Impressions: Upon arrival, I was greeted by courteous front desk staff who spoke basic English and were very accommodating. The check-in process was fast and efficient, with minimal hassle. The lobby itself was tastefully decorated—nothing extravagant, but definitely welcoming. It had a quirky charm that felt a bit more boutique than your average budget hotel. Room: I stayed in a standard double room, which was surprisingly spacious. The decor was modern and minimalist, with a few unique touches that gave it personality. The bed was large and comfortable, with clean, crisp linens. I appreciated the small details like a well-lit vanity area, USB charging ports, and a mini-fridge. The room also had good soundproofing, which meant I could rest peacefully even though the hotel is near a busy area. The bathroom was spotless, equipped with a full set of toiletries, and had a surprisingly luxurious rainfall shower. Water pressure was excellent, and hot water was consistent throughout my stay. Some rooms also offer jacuzzis or bathtubs, depending on the tier you book, which I thought was a great value. Amenities & Services: While Hotel Elephant isn’t a full-service luxury property, it offers everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There’s a vending machine area, complimentary bottled water, and in-room amenities like a kettle, coffee, and tea. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, even during peak hours. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or gym, but there are plenty of cafes and convenience stores nearby to make up for it. Housekeeping was thorough and respectful. My room was cleaned daily, and towels and toiletries were replenished without needing to request anything. Location: This is arguably one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s just a short walk from a nearby subway station, which made commuting to places like Haeundae Beach, Jagalchi Market, and Gwangalli very easy. There are also tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops within walking distance. Whether you’re into street food or want to try Busan’s famous seafood, you’ll find great options nearby. If you’re into nightlife, there’s also plenty happening in the area, but thankfully, the hotel itself remains peaceful at night. Staff & Hospitality: Every staff member I interacted with was polite and eager to help. While not everyone was fluent in English, they made an effort to assist with directions, transportation tips, and even helping me book a cab using local apps. Their hospitality made the stay feel much warmer and more personal than I expected. Overall Impression: Hotel Elephant may not be a five-star hotel, but it delivers more than what you’d expect from its price point. It’s clean, cozy, and well-located—perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even friends on a budget-friendly getaway. If you’re visiting Busan and want a reliable place to stay that offers good value without compromising on comfort, this hotel is a solid pick. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Busan.

GGuest UserThe location is great—right in front of BIFF Street. The room is spacious enough to comfortably open two large suitcases. One of the best features is the separate toilet and shower area, which is quite rare in Korea. Essentials like shampoo, a hair dryer, and other toiletries are provided. They also have a handy machine that removes dust and dries your clothes—perfect if you don’t want to do a full wash but still want your clothes fresh and clean. The only minor downside is the uphill slope leading to the hotel, but it shouldn’t be a problem for most people with luggage.
