Just about a 10-15min walk from main Myeong-dong area and cityhall station which is about a 7min walk away was able to bring us to almost all the tourist spots with 1 or no line changes at all. Also conveniently located outside an airport bus stop. Great location for free-and-easy travellers. Staff was nice as well."

"Came here with my wife and had a very comfortable stay. There's a convenience store right outside, and it's basically within walking distance to all the Myeongdong attractions. Lotte and Shinsegae department stores are also not far. We even got to catch a World Cup game while we were here!"

"Although I didn't see many reviews for this hotel on Xiaohongshu, it was relatively cheaper during the Dragon Boat Festival compared to other hotels around Myeongdong, and the double rooms were larger than those near other commercial areas. It's a Japanese-style hotel, popular with many Japanese guests. Check-in and check-out are done via self-service machines, and staff are available to assist if needed – the service attitude is excellent. The bathroom has a bathtub and toiletries, so you only need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The room also provides bath salts and eye masks. The soundproofing is very good. Right outside the hotel, there's a small CU convenience store, a Starbucks, and a food street, so dining out was very convenient. It's about a 10-minute walk to Shinsegae Department Store, Myeongdong, or the subway station. There's also an Olive Young on the way to the subway station. The best part is that the Incheon Airport limousine bus stops right on the street outside the hotel, making travel to and from the airport incredibly convenient. I would definitely choose this hotel again – highly recommended! Chinese people don't lie to Chinese people!"

"We stayed here as a group of three, and honestly, it exceeded expectations. The location is excellent – just a 10-minute walk to the main Myeongdong shopping area. There’s also a famous beef stew restaurant right near the hotel (so convenient after a long day out). From our balcony, we could see the entrance to Namdaemun – a nice unexpected touch. The room itself came with a washing machine and a dry iron machine, which made packing light so easy. Water was provided, and there’s a self-service laundry and gym on another floor. The reception was super helpful and check-in was very quick. Yes, the hotel looks basic from the outside, but everything inside made it totally worth it. For three people sharing, having those in-room amenities was a game changer. Highly recommend for budget-conscious travellers who want space, convenience, and a great location."

"The accessibility was great, being close to Seoul Station and Myeongdong, with several bus stops nearby. However, the small locker with a key and the space for luggage were very cramped. I had to go out into the hallway to open my suitcase and organize my belongings. On the second day, when I returned to the hotel, I found my suitcase, which I had left on the floor, moved to the top shelf. This made me feel very uncomfortable. Also, on the second day, the hot water suddenly stopped while I was showering, and only cold water came out. I was also troubled by the lack of a towel when showering, but they quickly replenished it, which was a huge help."

"It's really hard to pick the right place to stay from so many reviews, but this one is a winner. The room is small, but the location is excellent – the airport shuttle and subway are right downstairs at the corner, and it's surprisingly quiet. While the room is a bit tight for luggage, you can easily open your suitcase by the bathroom door. The bathroom itself is clean, and the door seals well, keeping any odors out. The Samsung air conditioner is brand new and adjusts the temperature automatically. A great choice for Myeongdong, and reasonably priced too!"

It's hands down the most stress-free accommodation choice for exploring Myeongdong, Shinsegae Department Store, and getting to the airport. Even though you're in the bustling Myeongdong area, once the windows are closed, you can barely hear the street traffic or people. With blackout curtains and a mattress that's just right – not too soft, not too firm – you can truly get a good night's sleep after a full day of walking around. 3. The amenities are incredibly thoughtful: a complimentary minibar replenished daily, a smart toilet, and a bathtub are all provided. The toiletries are from the British organic brand Bamford, with a premium scent and excellent quality. "We spent a few very good days at the Hotel, the room was spacious, clean and bright, the bathroom was also clean and well distributed. The location of the Hotel was unbeatable a few steps from Myeongdong, the City Hall and several palaces. You could reach many tourist attractions walking. The breakfast was varied and of good quality But for us, the best thing was the staff. From the cleaning team, the employees of the breakfast department, as of course I want to highlight the reception department Mr Cho who attended us especially well and helped us to store our luggage for few hours and helped us by giving us directions about the city. "Location is very convenient, just next to Seodaemun station exit 7 or 8. By going across the road (where Lotteria Burger is) and walk along the way in the right, will go to see many small eateries. Slightly further down there is a market selling local foodstuff, including raw ingredients (though not for tourists, but nice to see them to feel the local lifestyle). Overall experience in Shilla Stay is good, recommended. A place not too crowded but not far from busy place like Seoul station, Myeondong, Dongdaemum, etc etc"
