"Although I didn't book the cheapest room, we're a couple who loves OTT (Over-The-Top content), so we opted for the Movie Room! The facilities and service are all great. The coffee machine in the lobby and the complimentary ramen are truly amazing. However, for a 'Movie Room,' it felt a bit bare with just a projector. The sound quality wasn't great due to the lack of speakers, and the sofa provided was too small and uncomfortable for two people. While the location is a bit far from the main bustling area, I was still satisfied because of its many other advantages!"
"The hotel is modern and comfortable, and overall it offers good value for money. The breakfast was decent, although tea was not provided by default—I had to ask for it, but it was fine once served.
There were some minor difficulties, such as figuring out how to use the clothes dryer in the room. Also, most instructions were in Korean, which made things a bit confusing at times.
However, the service was generally good, and despite a few inconveniences, I had a pleasant stay."
"We enjoyed our weekend trip in Daejeon. The hotel was easy to get to from the train station. Also easy to get to local sites using taxi or metro. You can walk to many restaurants and coffee shops nearby, as well as the public foot bath. There is a CU located on the ground floor. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. We'd happily stay here again."
"There was too much smell of cigarettes in the bathroom. Even though I checked in late in the evening, the bathtub was moist as if it had not been cleaned, and the toothpaste was also being used on the sink. There was a lot of dust on the curtains, and there was a lot of furniture out of the upper floors.
But the bedding was clean and there were sweets in the refrigerator. The TV was also very big, so it was nice to lie on the bed and watch something together."
"It's a hotel that was caught in a hurry through Daejeon.
It was better than I thought
Refreshing from the entrance with a fresh green grape-flavored diffuser to the lobby and corridor
Hot water is good and heating is great
Good value for money"
"Accessibility was excellent and parking was convenient, but the condition of the room (hair, slow drainage, promotional tissue box) was a bit disappointing."
"Basic amenities, 4 towels, and 2 bottles of water are provided.
This is my second stay because I was very satisfied with my previous one, but this time the cleaning was poor (stains on the bedding, hair on the floor and in the bedroom, and although there was water in the refrigerator, it appeared to be used water), and I was a bit uncomfortable because the smell of cigarette smoke kept coming in from somewhere..."
"Once we got to the room everything was great, but the elderly woman at the front desk very obviously did not want to help us (just checking us in) and repeatedly told us to leave until another guest thankfully intervened. Be sure you have your confirmation info and be persistent."
"It was clean and affordable, and I enjoyed my stay. It was conveniently located near restaurants and bars, so I had a great rest. The nearby park was also great for a walk."
"I was truly satisfied with the accommodation. It was clean overall and had a great atmosphere, so I liked it as soon as I entered. It looked good in the photos, but it felt even more sophisticated and comfortable in person. The space wasn't cramped and was pleasant, making it great for resting, and the interior was stylish without being excessive, which made me feel good during my stay.
The cleanliness was particularly impressive. The bedding, flooring, and overall maintenance were excellent, so I could stay comfortably with peace of mind. This is actually quite important, and I was very satisfied because it was cleaner than I expected. The lighting was soft, making it comfortable to rest at night, and the overall quiet and stable atmosphere was perfect for relieving the day's fatigue.
Above all, I liked that it felt like meticulous attention to detail was paid to every aspect. I felt that this is a place well-suited for those who want to truly rest, rather than just a place to sleep. I was satisfied enough that I would want to stay here again if I am in the area next time."

YYonQVery near to industrial area where is my destination.
Hotel is located right beside Hyundai premium outlet, there is food restaurant at the third floor of outlet.
The outlet is also selling branded product with good deal.
Skypark hotel room and staff are great as well
Thank you for the stay
MMicSKCheck-in was simple and smooth. The member of staff that checked me in spoke great English. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, but I do wish they had more pillows. There was only one provided. There were lots of shops in the local area. The closest train station is about 13 mins walk away. There is also a Starbucks in the same building. I would stay here again.
CCarlo Baldonido⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Stay at Lotte City Hotel Daejeon
From the moment I arrived at Lotte City Hotel Daejeon, I knew I was in for an exceptional experience. The check-in process was seamless and warm, with staff who were not only efficient but genuinely welcoming. Their attention to detail made me feel immediately cared for.
My room was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room amenities—ranging from high-quality toiletries to a well-stocked minibar—made the stay feel luxurious and convenient.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet. The selection was impressive, with both Korean and international options, all fresh and beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to start each day.
The hotel’s location is another huge plus—quiet enough for restful nights, yet close to notable attractions, the Expo Park, and convenient transportation hubs. Whether for business or leisure, it’s an ideal base in Daejeon.
What truly sets Lotte City Hotel Daejeon apart is the service. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, professional, and eager to help. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was flawless.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Daejeon. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I will absolutely return on my next trip!
EExplorer777The hotel is in the great location of Daejeon, Dunsan-dong. You can walk to clothing stores, restaurants convenience stores and Emart is also an easy walk for groceries. It’s also conveniently located close to buses and the subway station. The room was also very clean and spacious. I was always busy so I was out most of the time so I was glad to come back and sleep in a comfortable bed. One can have a comfortable stay there. The elevator could do with a bit of an upgrade. Parking is limited in the area but their valet parking service will park your car in a safe location close to the hotel. There’s no need to use your car because of convenient transportation in the area. Overall, I had a pleasant stay there.
WWanghaoyanBreakfast is provided: stir-fried pork belly, bread, butter, and strawberry jam.
Small sausages, lettuce salad, and corn salad are provided.
Orange juice and milk are also provided.
All of this is free and included in the room rate.
It's also very close to the subway, less than 50 meters away, which connects directly to Daejeon High-Speed Railway Station.
I love staying here because it's just a 500-meter walk to the riverside for a relaxing run.
The room was excellent; it was standard and worth the price.
GGuest UserStay here was great, amenities like kitchenette were incredibly handy and worked well. Cleanliness and overall service were good. Bed was soft and comfortable and we received daily water bottles and fresh towels (in a plastic bag on the handle which we thought was a nice, non invasive way to deliver them). Location is also great, walking distance to a grocery store but plenty of restaurants around. Within 10 minutes walk to an area with lots of restaurants, bars and entertainment, e.g. billiards as well which was great fun to explore. Soundproofing was great, we didn't hear anything during our stay. Would recommend for short term stays.
JJeroen PotWe booked this hotel as it was close to the hot springs and metro station (at walking distance). The hotel personnel was very friendly. The owner told us there was not much interesting to do in Daejeon, but we have enjoyed 3 days in the city, at the aquarium, skyroad and the hot springs. And there are more tourist attractions around which we did not visit. The hotel room was large and very nice, although being with a 4 person family, we needed two additional mattresses on the floor. A suggestion for improvement would be to have two double beds in the room, as there is plenty of space. Laundry service was free.
GGuest UserWe didn’t request for housekeeping and the door sign showing “not to disturb”, however when we came back shortly from market walk, we noticed the room was replenished and bedding was changed, we didn’t locked our luggage and left our local currency in the backpack as we didn’t expect any housekeeping. As we were rushing out for the itinerary and we didn’t check anything missing. After checked out only noticed our country currency left in my backpack which kept in the wardrobe was missing. Lesson learned, careful on the security of this hotel. Don’t leave any valuable things in the room.
GGirlMeetsWorldThis has been one of the best budget stays I've had in Korea. I would highly recommend this motel. The location was great, 5 minutes walking to the bus terminal and many shops and restaurants nearby. Also, a 7 Eleven just around the corner. The reception area looks so nice and cozy. There's a communal microwave, hot and cold water dispenser, a coffee maker, an ice machine, and a small seating area. The room itself was so big and spacious. Big and comfortable bed with 2 pillows each! Big bathroom with a very nice bathtub and shower. There's a small couch and coffee table. Everything was very clean and working perfectly. It was quiet and pretty sound proof. The price was so affordable for what you get. Had a great stay here.
