"Booking this apartment hotel was the best decision of our Busan trip. This new apartment hotel, opened in 2026, is definitely worth a try! **Location:** It's right in the heart of Haeundae Walking Street. The building is brand new and can be considered one of the landmarks. It's a 5-minute walk from Haeundae Subway Station and a 5-minute walk from Haeundae Beach. Haeundae Walking Street is right downstairs. **Room:** We chose the two-bedroom ocean view suite this time, and there's only one per floor. The suite has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for family travel. The toiletries in the bathrooms are very high-end. Disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste need to be brought by guests. The washing machine, kitchen, and microwave are not available for use, and no knives, forks, bowls, or chopsticks are provided; these are only for long-term stays. **Facilities:** This time, I only visited the hotel reception on the third floor, and the lobby is very spacious. On the ground floor of the hotel, there's a 7-Eleven convenience store and a popular cafe and bakery. **Cons:** As a new hotel, there's still a noticeable new-hotel smell, so those sensitive to smells should consider this. **Service:** As an apartment hotel, daily cleaning is not provided. If cleaning is required, advance notice is needed. **In summary,** if your budget allows, definitely go for an ocean-view room. Even if you're on a tighter budget, this place is still highly recommended."

The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and communication is smooth. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making daily life easy. Overall, it offers great value for money, and my stay was excellent for travel and sightseeing. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Busan. The service attitude is very enthusiastic."

"What a chaotic combination of a building utterly unprepared for heavy rain (leaking everywhere, puddles forming) and the Matié management's complete lack of consideration for how uncomfortable guests would be. There was no basic guidance like directing us to the check-in lounge or telling us to use the underground passage when moving between buildings A and B. So, initially, we walked on the first floor, got drenched with our luggage... And with few signs, we were just wandering around. We weren't the only ones. The breakfast buffet is absolutely, definitively not recommended. The bread was old and hard, and they poured commercial orange juice right in front of guests. The seaweed soup was under-seasoned. All this for a 500,000 won stay, and 28,000 won per person for breakfast?! I will never go back. They seriously need to make major improvements. Tsk."

"Amazing views and a really unique hotel experience! Lavalse Hotel is a really cool place to stay. One of the things I loved most is the view the hotel is one of the taller buildings in the area, and because it’s located on an island, you get a completely different perspective of Busan. From the room, you can see beautiful buildings, the harbor in the distance, and the city scenery from a higher elevation. Waking up to that view was definitely the highlight of my stay. The hotel is very clean, modern, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They also have a breakfast buffet on the 3rd floor. The variety is pretty good, and the price was around 100 RMB per person, which I thought was reasonable for a hotel buffet. Another fun detail: the bathroom products (lotion, shampoo, conditioner, etc.) are really good quality. They are from Spain, and you can actually buy the products downstairs on the first floor if you like them. Nice little surprise for people who enjoy hotel-quality products. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Lavalse Hotel. Great views, great location, clean rooms, and friendly service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Busan especially if you love waking up to a beautiful city and harbor view!"

"I booked this hotel because it's close to Oryukdo Islets. My check-in was supposed to be at 5 PM, but I was told to come after 6 PM because the cleaner was sick and couldn't come in. That left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth."

"This hotel is not far from the subway station in Gwangalli, Busan. The beachfront area is very popular, with many people coming here for holidays. There are lots of bars and restaurants facing the sea, and you can even see the Busan Bridge. At night, you might even catch fireworks being set off from boats on the water."

"Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were all really professional and super friendly. The room was very clean, spacious and the view is amazing. Location is great, Taxis were easy to get on Uber. The only negative of our stay was the visit to the sauna, which was an additional charge of 55000won, which is perfectly understandable. However, the sauna was really really old and dirty, to the point of slimy. I was in there for about 20 minutes and left. It was a disappointment. Everything else was great."

"The location is fantastic, with Haeundae Beach right outside the window. You can walk straight down to the sand from the hotel. The room is a bit small, especially the bathroom, and the facilities are a little old. Breakfast offers a decent variety, but don't compare it to domestic standards, or you might find it poor value for money. There's a 24-hour convenience store downstairs, which is really handy. The hotel service is quite attentive; they helped us with taxi calls and even sending a package without any issues."
