"I had a very good experience staying at this hotel. The location is great, with tram and bus stops nearby, making it easy to get around the city. Taxis were also very easy to find whenever needed.
The room was comfortable and clean, and the overall stay felt smooth and hassle-free. A good option if you want convenient transport access and a comfortable stay in Riga."
"The overall layout of the hotel is compact and reasonable, suitable for self-driving travel and parking is very safe and convenient. It is within walking distance to a large shopping center where you can shop and have some restaurants to choose from."
"We arrived early but couldn't check in yet. Luckily, the hotel offered a free luggage storage service, which was very helpful. The hotel environment is lovely, and there are many Instagram-worthy spots nearby. They also serve breakfast, though we didn't try it, so I can't comment on the taste. It's also conveniently located near a bus stop, which is great if you need to catch an early bus – just a 5-10 minute walk."
"Very friendly and helpful staff, hotel room was clean and comfortable. Decent location, a bit far from all the touristy places and stuff. However, the hotel is situated right next to a tram line which is a big bonus. Only downside is that it lacked the amenities, however it was stated upon booking, so I cannot complain."
"The rooms are clean and spacious, the location is good, and the surrounding transportation is convenient. Whether it is shopping, entertainment or exploring the beautiful scenery of the city, it is all within easy reach.
The most surprising thing is the rich breakfast, with a variety of delicious foods, which will inject full vitality into your new day. Here, you will experience caring service, comfortable accommodation environment and delicious breakfast."
"The overall hotel facilities are complete and comfortable. It faces the river. Although the room is on a lower floor and does not have a river view, you can see it after walking a few steps outside. The passage leading to the gym is under renovation and the formaldehyde smell is unpleasant."
"It was a good place to stay the night for as it was within close walking distance to the old town and the bus station when needed. Although beds were quite low, they were comfortable. It had a charming old vibe and had all the necessities you could need"
"Had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff is super nice and fluent in English. Everything was super clean. It's very close to great restaurants malls and grocery stores too. Makes it very affordable and convenient while still enjoying the luxury it has."
"Old hotel but very clean and in a perfect location. They pffer good amenities. It’s old but for the price was perfect. The only downside is the internet not being very stable. Good virw from my window."

Outstanding
AAdele17Slap bang in the middle of Rīga, everything is walking distance, about 15 minutes tops to either direction and all the art nouveau architecture you could desire! Furthest walk was to the Holy Trinity Church, which you have to go over the bridge, but totally worth it. This hotel is mainly closest to the Orthadox church near a huge park. Breakfast has a variety, even if you're vegan too! Was impressed that you can have plant based milk hot coffees (but machine is very slow and temperamental). Would be nice to have had some vegan sausages, but you won't go hungry. The room I had was lush, very comfortable bedding, just a shame about the view, was facing the inside of the building and carpark. I would say for a 5 star hotel, coffee facilities could have been better, they were very basic, whereas other European 5 star hotels usually have a Nespresso machine or similar. Staff very friendly and accommodating of all hours of day and night!
Ssherry_triplogThis hotel was incredibly convenient, located just behind the Blackhead House in the Old Town, and very close to the airport bus stop. The room was clean, and all the front desk staff were so kind, making our stay very pleasant. I'd love to stay here again if I have the chance!
GGuest UserAn extraordinary building ; one of the most architecturally impressive hotels in which I can remember staying, with wonderfully helpful staff and a location that can not be bettered -- with a commendable breakfast. Five stars ! But then . . .
Beautifully configured and equipped rooms but, constraints on urban buildings being what they are, and the architects having elected a stunning central skylit air- and light-well, our room, at least, had no window. Where was one to be placed, after all ? The air-conditioning worked well, but truly fresh air was not available.
The housekeeping staff had neglected the bathroom attached to the room that we used. Hair, a cotton-tipped applicator stick, and -- simply -- dirt were on the tiles. This can happen. It was very different from the rest of the experience of the stay. But there it was.
Have a look around when you check in. Ask for a repeat cleaning of your room if you think one is necessary. Enjoy your stay.
CChrisJanyThe hotel is well located on the edge of the old town, a few minutes walk from the all old town attractions, excursion pick up points and tourist office.
Excellent check in, well appointed room overlooking the river. A higher room would have been preferable, but room facilities excellent.
Although accommodation is very reasonably priced, we found the €20 pp charge for use of the spa facilities a little out of kilter.
Disappointed and surprised - especially at this time year - that we were not allowed a late checked even at the cost of €15 per hour after 1pm.

I had a best time at this hotel everything was perfect. This hotel is 5-10 mins walkable to all the sightseeing and museums, shopping centres in Latvia Riga
HHammalAmiriThe bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quite clean and newly refurbished however there were too many basic errors and design choices / management choices that are not up to the level of the other 5 star hotels in Riga.
The mini bar was ridiculously expensive I mean 2 or 3 times as much as other hotels in the city and they had the nerve to charge me for a drink I don’t consume. They have apologised since and I’m waiting on a refund. The tiny tub if almonds were listed for 14 euros for example.
No hooks in the bathroom for clothes, no shower screen on the bath, limited buffet options for breakfast but decent Al a carte options, furniture in room not comfortable, no proper wardrobe, rug in the room but covered by the bed, no teapots or large mugs for tea.
My advice is only stay if the rate is about 1/2 of the other 5 star hotels in Riga.
GGuest UserGreat location around 15 minute walk from the old city and tucked away in a quiet area off a main road. Along with my final booking details, the hosts provided me with excellent details including videos for how to access the property by myself. I somehow managed to lose this email when I arrived and the hosts were extremely prompt in helping me out.
The apartment is cosy and ideal for solo travellers or couples. The kitchen is well provided with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc. For cooking, there's a two ring induction hob, which for my needs this was sufficient. I also noticed a dishwasher and washing maching. The TV is internet enabled, great for Netflix or Youtube streaming channels.
Generally I found the hosts to be very helpful. If I'm ever in Riga again I'd be more than happy to stay in the same apartment.
GGuest UserThe hotel has value for money in the old town area of Riga. Check in was smooth and we were able to get into our room quickly to drop off our bags and get to Arena Riga for an ice hockey game with limited time to get there. The location is very central to the sites of Riga's old town and there are some very good restaurants nearby. There are quite a few convenience stores and souvenir shops nearby but they close fairly early. The hotel has a very interesting feeling to it with exposed brick walls and original/restored wood beams and stairs. We appreciated that it also had an elevator to get to the top floor we stayed on.
We booked the twin room and had a pleasant stay and the room was quiet enough to get a good night's rest despite the bars nearby. The beds were comfy but the pillows were a little thin. The room had a fully stocked mini bar with decent prices which would help if we got desperate for drinks. There was a large wardrobe and a small work desk in the room too. There were also plugs conveniently placed around the room so we could get all our devices charged. The bathroom was quite large and we appreciated the hot shower and towel warmer. They provide handsoap and a body/hair gel for the shower. The rooms have air conditioning and the windows open to help with the stuffiness. The twin rooms have a slanted ceiling so my short wife had the bed on the slanted side and had no issues.
The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the variety of food brought out both mornings. They had hot items which changed a bit each day and included an egg omelette, bacon, potatoes, a Latvian pancake and sausages. There was a good spread of cold items too and we are sure a vegetarian would be satisfied with the offerings of vegetables, cheeses, devilled eggs and fruit. The coffee machine made a very good hot chocolate and they also provided juice and water with breakfast. There is a bar behind the check in counter that is open to hotel guests and a nice seating area in the lobby too if you're looking for something more later.
There is a sauna at the hotel but we weren't sure if it was open during our stay or what time it did open because there were no hours posted and we didn't get a chance to ask the staff. There is very limited free parking near the hotel and it seemed like the same local parked in front of the hotel each day. We would recommend taking the bus from the airport if you have the time but if you're in a hurry Bolt is pretty affordable in Riga to get around. There are car rentals north of the hotel and Bolt works in old town to book electric scooters and cars which was pretty convenient during our visit in Riga.
MMrNoodlezA bit far from the Riga old town and requires quite a bit of walk, meanwhile close to Lidl, which is a good thing.
The room is pretty good but part of the floor has noise with it.
The kitchen is very very nice, you can find all of the common kitchenware and cook a good meal out from them, the plates and bowls are also completely not oily, which is very unexpected and very nice.
ががたThe location was good, most tourist spots were within walking distance and there was a shopping mall nearby, so it was convenient. The room was clean and the check-in and check-out service was also good.
