Great
AAnonymous UserVery pleasant stay at the hotel! Had an add on of the breakfast at promotional price of 78 ringgit per pax and the buffet spread was awesome! The staff are courteous and welcoming, feel very warm each time we bump into them. There’s a pillow menu for you to choose & welcome cookies upon check in (very delicious)! The massage shop in the hotel called Swan Reflex was good and price is comparable with shops outside (had an additional discount for hotel guests). Hotel is about 10mins walk away from CIQ, abit difficult to walk now with the ongoing construction at the surrounding.

GGuest UserWe arrived at 3pm then proceed to check-in take us 45min ….. end up room not ready yet, then we plan to leave our luggage to hotel and go shopping at Midvalley but we have to line up again for 45min just to pass the luggage 😡😡 So, the whole process checkin, leave luggage to hotel ….5 pm we only get the key and walk in the room😮💨. Although we waited 2hr for checkin but I have to give thumbs up for the reception worker👍🏻, they are very polite , patient to explain the whole situation . I hope management will look in to this situation and don’t blame for holidays …many visitors … all these nonsense excuses

GGuest UserThe 3 bedrooms with 2 bath rooms unit is spacious and has a good view. Cleanliness can be improved especially the entrance area. Common bath shower door can’t be closed fully causing the outside floor very wet. Shower area water flow down the drain very slowly causing some flooding. Many facilities are available but only used the gym n it’s spacious n well equipped. Location is convenient with supermarket and many food options. Check in and out is easy. Overall it’s a pleasant stay with my family.

GGuest UserNot Worth the Price Tag — Our First Negative Review Across Travel Platforms Nest Home is a big operator, this unit is THE most expensive unit in the condo operated by Nest Home. We paid more than RM2,000 for 2 nights for 2 adults + 2 children. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and, in fact, unhealthy. I am taking the time to write this review to caution future guests who may assume that choosing the most expensive unit means choosing the safest or best option. In our case, that assumption proved wrong. Good points: - The location is great, especially for guests who drive. There are plenty of parking spaces, and the condominium has six lifts, which are generally fast and convenient. - Nest Home’s service response during operating hours, up to midnight, was professional and generally prompt. The check-in process was also convenient and smooth. - Their guidance and house rules were clear and detailed, and the cafés recommended by them were actually great. - The listing photos are generally accurate. What you see in the photos is what you get. There is a working mini cinema (although not one-touch and need to try luck for turning on the TV box), and the private cinema feel is there, especially if you already have your own subscribed content and can tolerate the strong formaldehyde smell. - The castle and slide were fun, and the children enjoyed them, which was a big relief for us. However, I personally have doubts as to whether the playground area is thoroughly cleaned. - The bedding looked fresh and had a hotel-like feel. Bad points — which made our 2-night stay a nightmare: - As shown in the screenshots/photos, the issues were serious and largely self-explanatory. - The unit may have been recently upgraded or renovated. As a result, the wooden stage/base in the cinema area had a very strong formaldehyde chemical smell. It caused my children and me to cough and tear up. Even after the stay, I am still coughing occasionally. - There are 2 bedrooms. The unit is supposedly suitable for 4 adults + 2 children, but the bunk bed had a strong formaldehyde smell kept coming out from the bunk bed, and concentrating in the guest bedroom. So 1 out 2 bedrooms was not liveable for our family. - As shown in the photo, after paying more than RM2,000, 4 of us had to squeeze into 1 bed because the unbearable condition of the guest bedroom. And even this only bedroom we could sleep in had a strong formaldehyde smell coming from the wardrobe, so we tried our best not to use it. - After we raised the issue to Nest Home, their response was prompt and their action was quick. However, the solution provided, such as fogging, did not effectively address the root cause. I am also not sure whether fogging is even an appropriate solution for a formaldehyde-like smell, or whether it is more suitable for insects. In any event, there was no effective solution during our stay. - The booking page photos are exactly what you get and please have a second look into the details, which we didn't (yes, you don't even have soap or handwash at basin, Yes, you don't have handtower (there are bath towers), despite the price, forget about comparing amenities to a basic 3-star hotel. You will have to compromise here and there. These small details make a real difference to the overall stay. - Looking back at past reviews, the cleanliness level is acceptable, but guests should not expect too much. For example, some plastic parts of the bathroom glass doors were yellowish and did not look very clean. Other than basic sorry words, we DO NOT feel real apologies or sincerity from Nest Home. They keep saying High price because of holiday, and no other guests have these feedback. I suggest they stay in the unit themselves and face the reality. We will stay away from all Nest Home managed properties. For families with young children, or guests who are sensitive to formaldehyde smells, I would strongly suggest reconsidering before booking this unit.

YYuetming LowRoom service has room to improved. The 1st female rceptionist attended me on my check in has not taking my request seriously, I have to changed to another room & higher floor on my 2nd night and no smiling at all, not rude but seems not friendly. Overall the hotel is worth staying. The pillow quality & size need to upgrade, it's too hard & small.

NNeil NicholasHouse is relatively clean and with enough amenities for the booking. Lots of food and shopping around the KSL vicinity you won’t be bored of. What is great for this home to stay in: 1) Response to any questions are replied fast and understandable. 2) There are hairdryer, toothbrushes, towels, shower gel and shampoo, washing detergent supplied. 3) Unit is 5106 is clean and bedsheets were as well. 4) There is a microwave, fridge, cooking stove, washing machine (do note there is no dryer function) This is how it would be even better: 1) Have a drying rack for laundry in the yard 2) Provide some hand towels in the toilet would be greatly appreciated as well. 3) Tissue box was actually near empty when we started to use and was not enough. Maybe could have one unopened in the cupboard. 4) Provide a small dresser in the bedroom.

TTentenAmaiodinThe unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed is bouncy and we slept well. The place also comes with useful amenities like a fridge, electric stove, oven, iron and hair dryer. However, there is no water dispenser or water filter provided. Basic utensils such as plates, spoons and bread knives are available, but there are no forks, bowls or other cooking tools, so you may need to bring your own or purchase separately if you plan to cook. The downside was the check-in experience. We were only given the access card without the bedroom key, and ended up stuck outside for almost an hour trying to figure out how to enter. The owner’s response was quite late, which made the situation frustrating. The TV in the room was also not functioning. On the positive side, the owner did allow a late check-out at 1pm. Overall, the stay was comfortable after settling in, but the initial access issue and late response affected the first impression.

JJust a casual travelerI was there for 3 nights, booking 2 rooms with queen size bed. It was a less than satisfactory experience. I specifically requested for rooms away from elevators but they gave me 2 rooms that are right next to their employee elevator. So it means, the elevator is in between of the 2 rooms that I booked for my parents and I. No doubt, the employee elevator meant less activity but it's still next to the elevator where ppl could easily come up and down. Secondly, we were unable to get the key card to open the door to the corner room that is for my parents. Took 1 trip down to concierge to inform them about the problem. They programmed the key card again and problem still exists. Only after I told them to relocate my parents to a different floor that they mentioned that the battery in the scanner of the door ran out so they have to get technician to change them. So, that left a bad impression from the getgo. Thirdly, once we got on that floor, it smelled bad. I had to get housekeeping to spray air-freshener to get rid of the smell. I believe it from the drainage, where if water wasn't used or flushed down, it can start to smell. So my question was, how long was the room toilets not cleaned or flushed? If the rooms were occupied, surely it shouldn't smell. Fourth, the pool was not what is expected of a hotel pool. Even a boutique hotel pool look better than that. But I don't care too much about pools as I am looking for good place to rest after spending a lot of time sightseeing when I'm traveling. Fifth, noise insulation wasn't good. I could hear the guest in the next room snoring from my room. Let alone if the guest spoke loudly, I could hear. The staff were polite and kind for the most part. One or 2 staff may not know certain things but they are probably new to the job and are on training. Not a big matter. It is situated in a good location. It is 20-25 mins away from Johor city square. It is in a nice suburban neighbourhood, but within a commercial round area with a park in the middle. There is even a big Aeon Mall right opposite the hotel. Traffic isn't bad going into that area. If you're looking to spend a lot of time in the room during your travel, this is not the one for you. If you want a comfortable room to rest for the night, this is good enough.

WWin.TThis is our first time staying here. The location is highly convenient, with shopping, food, massage, and a salon all nearby. The host's customer service responded very quickly. Everything in this condo is new, and our family is happy to stay here. The only issue is the lack of kitchen utensils—no cups, no plates, no bowls. If you order food to the condo and want to eat there, it's not very convenient. Fortunately, the place is accessible to many locations and is kept clean, so we would still like to book here again.

CCandace KThe gym, though small, was well-equipped with towels and bottled water. The kids' play area clearly hadn't been tidied up after use, and no one seemed to be cleaning it. It was also incredibly hot in there, with no AC remote in sight. As for the breakfast buffet, it had everything you'd expect, but the only downside was the lack of staff to seat or guide guests. On our first morning, we had to stand next to other tables and wait for a spot to open up 😅. Our room had a QR code for requests, and when we used it, staff were very quick to help with any issues. The only minor flaw was some dust in the room; I actually felt a bit itchy the first night. We were in the East Wing, which honestly felt more like a serviced apartment than a hotel, yet they didn't even provide dish soap 😅😅.
