Staybridge Suites THE HAGUE - PARLIAMENT by IHG

Amazing

We walked from the Centraal station, and it took about 15min, but found that there's actually trams that stop pretty close to the location. Slight issue was that there was urgent works to be done at the lobby, but we were informed about it during our stay, and the slight inconvenience was bearable. Spacious room, with sufficient ammenities, good selection for the breakfast. There were friendly and helpful staff.

Great design, classic style, and an excellent location in the heart of The Hague. The hotel is conveniently close to several tram stops, making it easy to get around the city. That said, the housekeeping could be improved. I'm not particularly picky, nor was I inspecting corners looking for flaws, but as soon as I entered the room I noticed a large white stain on the chair—what looked like a souvenir from a previous guest. It was quite obvious and, in my opinion, something that should be easy to remove with basic cleaning supplies. The hair dryer also looked rather worn and overdue for replacement. These are small details, but they are the kind of things that guests notice immediately and could easily be addressed with a bit more attention from the cleaning staff. Other than that, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning kept the room at a very pleasant temperature. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider returning in the future, especially if the housekeeping standards are improved.

The location is unbeatable. It is just 5 mins walk, straight line, from the central station. Along the walk u will see lots of restaurants, an Etos (a heath and beauty brand in NL), a supermarket (Albert Heijn)which u should be able to get practically anything you need. The hotel room is clean, the bed is comfortable. I choose the room type with a view, which is on higher floor, very quiet, got good sunlight. There is a coffee corner on the ground floor which you can get unlimited coffee and tea all day long. And there is laundry room, although I haven’t tried it, which is another added point for long period travellers. The only downside is, it’s a minimalistic hotel. No kettle, no fridge, no cupboard or shelves for storage. The only toiletries provided are shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, although they are of freaking good quality, especially the conditioner, I am really surprised lol. Will stay there again if I go next time.

The hotel was really clean. The photos we saw of this hotel all over the internet showed it to be close to the promenade, but unfortunately it wasn't like the photos and it was a long walk from many things. The breakfast didn't have the variety that a five-star hotel should have, it was about the same as a four-star hotel and there was very little choice. The Netherlands is famous for its cheese, and considering it was a five-star hotel and in the Netherlands, there was very little choice of cheese at the hotel's breakfast. The hotel didn't have slippers, it's a good thing we had brought them with us. We went to five- and four-star hotels in several different countries and they all gave us a bottle of mineral water a day, but here, no, there was no water and we bought it ourselves from the market. And another thing that really bothered us was the extreme coldness of the room🥶, to the point where it was like winter (we were there on September 1st). The air conditioner in the room was always on and could not be turned off at all, and they themselves confirmed this, and unfortunately I got sick there🥺😮💨. One of the towels and one of the pillowcases were also dirty. If they can't be washed, they should be thrown away. This brings down the quality of a five-star hotel. The menu selection was limited, but we had a very delicious fish dinner.😋

I stayed solo at Ibis Den Haag City Centre for 3 days and 2 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is excellent — very central and convenient for exploring The Hague, with shops, restaurants, and public transport all within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable for a short solo stay. The hotel also felt safe and well organized. One downside was that the bathroom was quite small, which made it a bit cramped. Additionally, the shower drain took a long time to clear, causing water to build up during showers. Aside from that, the stay was comfortable and good value for the location. Overall, a convenient and decent option for a short stay in The Hague.

I couldn't check in because they couldn't find my booking and my name wasn't on their list. I've stayed at countless hotels, but this is the first time I've encountered such an issue. It took almost two hours to sort out, which was a huge waste of my time. Eventually, Trip.com found the hotel's internal booking number through an email the hotel sent me. Trip.com's handling was excellent; they upgraded me to a sea-view room and provided complimentary breakfast. Honestly, this wasn't Trip.com's fault, it was entirely the hotel's. The hotel gave me two drink vouchers and told me to wait in the restaurant, but after sitting there for ages, no one paid any attention to me. I showed them the vouchers, but no one asked what I wanted to drink. I asked for Wi-Fi and they gave me two long passwords, neither of which worked. The service was absolutely terrible. On the bright side, I did get to see a beautiful sunset from the room.

TheHilton the Hague in the scenic Zeestraat is worth your money. My room was big size and so was the bathroom with a lovely bathtub. The view is a bit meh, but there is enough to do or to see in the neighborhood. The only thing I did not like was the (too) loud popmusic over Sunday breakfast.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to a business dinner and for the rest of the week's events. It was a good choice overall. I was also drawn in by the gym and sauna, but both were closed by the time I returned (9:45 PM). While I can understand that a sauna can't run continuously, I'm more puzzled about the gym. I also hope my car got a good night's sleep. At €35 for 9 hours!!! Anyway, it seemed happy. The breakfast was very basic. When I read ”extraordinary breakfast,” I expected a lot more fruits and vegetables. I'm a picky vegetarian 🫣. I gave it a try, but I'll be looking elsewhere next time.

The hotel has a beautiful location with great views, and the scenery was one of the highlights of my stay. It’s definitely a place where you can enjoy the surroundings and relax. However, there were a few issues that affected the overall experience. The heating system was inconsistent and didn’t always work properly, which made the room quite cold at times. The elevator was also unreliable, sometimes working and sometimes not, which was inconvenient. In addition, the Wi-Fi was very slow. Thankfully, the staff provided a portable heater, which helped us manage the cold. While the location is excellent, there are some areas that could be improved to make the stay more comfortable.
