"We enjoyed the laid back self service I've approach within the hotel allowing us to enjoy our stay. Thought the lockers for storing baggage after checking out was v good idea . V good situation being about half way from national theatre and the train station. Could be a bit noisy due to trams running on street outside. Rooms were clean on arrival and adequate for our needs on a city visit."

"I took the ferry to Oslo, then a 7-minute walk after bus 81 from the port to reach the hotel. I got my room card an hour earlier than check-in time, and I really loved the top-floor room with a terrace. The hotel is right next to a shopping street. I bought an Oslo Pass, and many attractions are within walking distance, plus it's easy to catch any public transport. Although the furniture is a bit old, the room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious."

"The hotel was nice, sustainable culture supportive, staff are extremely welcoming and very helpful, close to the city center. The room felt extra small for me that I could not believe it, however, warm and good enough for a 1 night crash, did not need to switch on the heater, temp was just right! One thing I really missed is the the English language option in TV, everything else was as expected."

"The hotel's location is good and convenient. Although the room isn't large, it's clean and functional, which was acceptable. I arrived in Oslo a day early, excited for my Silver Sea Arctic cruise, and planned to extend my stay at the hotel for one night after the cruise. When checking in, I specifically mentioned that the cruise company had already booked a room for the following night and asked if I could stay in the same room to avoid switching. The receptionist checked and confirmed that they had specially arranged for me to stay in the same room, and I would just need to renew my key the next day. I was very pleased, thinking the hotel's service was thoughtful and human. However, the next morning when I went to the front desk to renew my key, I was told that if I wanted to continue my stay, I'd have to pay an additional 500 NOK! The hotel management's policy changed so suddenly; I believe their service greatly needs improvement. I also have an extended stay for one night on my return trip. I wonder if they'll try to make me switch rooms or upgrade then?! Very dissatisfied. Also, the bed wasn't very big, and the breakfast chef was very unfriendly."

"The room is quite big and enough for 3 people with 2 big and 1 small luggage. The location is perfect, only around 3 mins to the Oslo Central Station. Oslo was the last station in Norway in a nutshell, even though you take the night train from Myrdal to Oslo, you can immediately arrive the hotel. There're many convenience store and restaurant around. Besides, the lemonade welcome drink at lobby was so good ans fresh. The only one thing is no shower partition at toilet. But I think the toilet is big enough, so it was still okay. Overall, it's a really nice hotel and worth to stay."

"Bob place is perfect! We never have much expectation since this was a last minute booking as our tour booked us an airport hotel instead of city hotel. Bob place has every small details of personal touch, with a personalised welcome card, and couple of amenities thats we loved so much. Also, they are always reachable and helpful even though its self check-in."

"The bus stop right outside the hotel is super convenient, you can get anywhere from there. It's about a ten-minute walk to the central station. Plus, breakfast is included and it's really good! Definitely good value for money. I'd totally recommend it."
