"The location is near the city centre and the riverside market, within walking distance. We booked a deluxe triple room with three single bed and a private bathroom, which is awesome. However, there might be some noise from the outside during midnight which couldn’t be blocked fully by the windows."

"An absolutely fabulous place. Really playing on yhe history of the building all while still giving privacy, security and fun. Location is super close to a variety of restaurants, cafes and take-away stores, and a general store for those forgotten small items. Parking is free but it's a first come, first serve scenario. I loved staying there and highly recommend to any traveler looking for a funky and reasonably priced accommodation."

"I stayed here alone. At first, I considered a dormitory, but I think a private room is better if you're a woman traveling solo. This place offers great value for money. It's definitely small, but having a fridge, hairdryer, and a private shower and toilet in the room was incredibly convenient. The only downside was a small gap between the door and the hallway, which let in quite a bit of noise. There was no microwave. The showerhead was fixed, and the water pressure wasn't super strong, but the hot water flowed consistently. The provided shampoo made my hair quite squeaky, so if that's a concern, you should bring your own. The hotel staff were also very pleasant. There was a gym available, so I could get a workout in. It's a hotel I'd definitely want to stay at again!"

"Second time I've stayed here. First visit couldn't fault. This visit Requested a room with a balcony when I booked three weeks ago. This did not occur Early check in as I was going to the cricket. Could not do Issues with the tv and not getting the channel I wanted Spa bath - did not work Lying in the bath, looking at the toilet from under the eye line. Totally discusting, big build up of unclean scum Even if the spa bath was working, no soap/bubble bath provided. Really quite disappointing as my last visit was great"

"The hotel is conveniently located directly across from the Art Center, and very close to the Sky House and Botanical Gardens. Our room was on the second floor, but there's no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up ourselves. The room itself has a very spacious terrace, more than enough room for two suitcases. The kitchen facilities are also well-equipped and easy to use. The bus stop is about 100m walk from the hotel. The number 8 bus goes to the airport, costs 4 dollars each, and you can pay with cash."

Those things stood really out: -Building style+size & garden very beautiful -Amazing Breakfast (incl special items like Dumpling, Noodles, Fried Rice, Chicken Breast) -Staff sooo friendly All the other things great too -Spacious clean nice rooms -Great bedding, slept well -Lots of Tea/Coffee in the room -Small Gym -Free parking -Nice location (very fast in city center) -yummy cookies at check-in 😆 -Very reasonable price during our stay"

"The room was spotless, and the living room was spacious. While the bathroom wasn't huge, it had a great wet/dry separation. Check-in was a breeze, and they have their own parking lot. Communication with the host was smooth. There's a shopping center about a 3-minute drive from the hotel with a great supermarket inside. Super convenient for shopping and dining!"

"Checking in was a bit of a hassle as we had to fill out an electronic form at the entrance. It would have been much smoother if we could have just done it directly with the front desk staff to speed things up. The hotel uses an electronic management system instead of physical keys, but it was hard to find the website for it. The toiletries were a high-end Antipodes brand, which was a nice touch. The best part is definitely the excellent location, super convenient for catching the Intercity bus."
