"We just returned from our stay at this hotel in Gdansk and couldn't have been more delighted. It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. The room: Simply magnificent. It was very spacious, decorated with exquisite taste, and had an incredibly comfortable bed that guaranteed a good night's sleep after long walks around the city. The cleanliness was impeccable. The bathroom: Modern, sparkling, and very well-equipped. The shower had fantastic water pressure, something that is always greatly appreciated when unwinding at the end of the day. The breakfast: A true spectacle! There was an incredible variety of options, from local cold cuts and cheeses to fresh pastries and hot dishes cooked to order. All with excellent quality ingredients. Without a doubt, the combination of a perfect room and a breakfast fit for a king made our trip to Gdansk even more special. If we return to the city, we will definitely stay here again."

"The room was very clean and tidy! There's a laundry room in the basement that costs 8 PLN per wash, and you don't need to bring your own detergent. You can even reserve a time slot with your phone. For check-in and check-out, you can drop off your luggage for free at the main office. The staff there are also very friendly. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Old Town, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby!"

"Super super good location, direct in the most important street of old town, 1 min by foot to the Neptune’s fountain, other sightseeing places we can also go to there by foot. Very clean and super big room. Very friendly stuff. Just one thing, there is no swimming pool, no sauna. Spa includes only massage."

When I was searching for a place to stay in Gdanks for about two days and found this hostel, I was fine with having less amenities as long as the price is affordable. Moon Hostel Gdanks has definitely surpassed my expection, with the great location with walking distance to the tourist attractions and with the cleanliness and the customer service from the hostel itself. If I ever come back to Gdanks for a vacation, I would very likely choose to book this hostel again."

"The Scandic Hotel ~ Location, Staffs, Room Cleanness & Room’s view = What can I say, One Word ~ Perfect:) Just 3 slow walk through the Gdansk Clowny (Train) Station underground/underpass. The hotel is exactly located when you walk out from the underground stairs. 15mins walking distance to the main Town Hall & all the landmarks of Gdansk. You can choose to book Bolt or Uber. Very reasonable price if you are lazy to walk especially during Winter Season. But I choose to walk cause you’ll non stop snapping for pictures along the way. Gdansk in White is in another World man..loved it. Highly recommend Scandic Gdansk hotel to anyone. Cheers :)"

"Very pleasant and comfortable hotel just off the Old Town of Gdansk. The rooms are spacious and very clean. An excellent breakfast is served, but the other meals are less overwhelming. For example, the Ceasar Salad I ordered had actually little in common with what a ceasar ought be. The most irritating experience occurred in the swimming pool. The hotel disposes of a beautiful swinning pool which I love to use. However, wwhen I arrived the first day, the pool was was occupied by some acqua gym group and in effect not available to hotel guests. This is totally inacceptable. The hotel guests must be given priority in the use of the pool!"
