"The hotel is not bad and the breakfast is very rich. The young lady at the front desk is pretty and offers great service. However, the parking fee is too expensive, and the valet parking even costs 370 Swedish kronor. I looked for a parking space behind the hotel, which only cost 110 kronor."

Not far from anything and in a great location. The staff all speak great English and were incredibly friendly! Breakfast was traditionally Swedish with lots to choose from and easy for anyone to find something enjoyable."

"Very comfortable, and conveniently located close to the train station and the airport shuttle. There's a supermarket right across the street, and it's next to the Lipstick Building and the pier. The room was very modern; after staying in so many hotels in Europe, this is the first time I've experienced such a modern and smart-style hotel! The front desk staff were friendly, but the self-check-in was a bit tricky to operate. It would be even better if there was free drinking water available in the lobby."

"The room has a general sense of space, but the view is very wide and the windows are bright and clean. Breakfast is very rich. But the Scandic hotel chain now needs to scan the code in advance to book the daily room hygiene, which is a bit ”annoying”. The service staff has a good attitude and the expression is simple and clear."

"I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Lorensberg in Gothenburg. The location is excellent—central, quiet, and within easy walking distance of Avenyn, shops, and public transport. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel has a charming, classic feel. Breakfast was good with a nice variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it’s great value for money and an ideal base for exploring the city."

"Cozy hotel with friendly personnel, and an okay single room. It wasn’t large, but it was clean. More than good enough for the two nights I stayed there. But it was in need of maintenance though: the doors and such were quite badly damaged. I’ve added breakfast to my booking, and this was really good! Lots to choose from, and delicious. One complaint: the rooms facing the street are not soundproofed enough in my opinion, too much of the noise of the quite busy road outside came in😕 Would stay again though, and I heard the double rooms are less noisy as these don’t face the street."

Additionally, I had booked a double room but was given a twin room instead, which was disappointing. The reception staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming, which affected the overall first impression. On a more positive note, the food in the restaurant was of satisfactory quality, and the selection was quite diverse. Overall, this is a solid hotel in a convenient location for city exploration, but the experience was far from memorable."
