AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the railway station, making it super convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Our room was spotless and came with air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the heat. If you need a hairdryer, you can easily request one at the front desk.
One of the highlights was the little kitchenette available in the mornings from 6 am to 11 am. We enjoyed a nice cappuccino there, and they also have a microwave and microwaveable food for purchase—perfect for anyone arriving late and needing a quick meal.

GGuest UserAgain, very friendly staff very organized, lovely buffet breakfast on the top floor… Don’t forget to use the outside food deck in the early morning.  Very well appointed suite, with hand and bath towels, white ceramic floors. Nicely appointed amenities, including an armoire with a luggage rack and a sit down vanity, fridge, deck with seating, air con. Sketchy wifi for my room but worked better under another room and in the lobby. They arranged a van at airport to deliver several people to their various spots, and arranged the van to the Ferry dock for 150•baht each. Leave 2 hours early for the ferry though. Very slow that way. Or take a more expensive cab. Quiet location down a lane to block road noise.

RresbausStayed 3 nights in Suriwong Chumphon Hotel.
Good size room with fan and private bathroom.
Location was great. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Couple of really good vegan/vegetarian restaurants nearby.
Free water refill and morning coffee was a BIG plus.
Wifi didn't work in the room. We stayed in 5th floor room 506. Worked only outside the room near elevator.
Can recommend and we would stay again!

GGuest UserI arrived quite late at night. I had booked two rooms directly for a total of 5 adults and 2 children, but when I made the reservation, I only put down two names. When I checked in, the front desk told me to pay for breakfast for five additional people, claiming I only booked for two. I was speechless. Thais can be so rigid! Doesn't a room usually include breakfast for two? I hadn't specified two people per room, and they still charged me extra. I couldn't even communicate with them properly.

DDanny CW NgSpacious big room with laminated wood floor. The only thing it doesn't have is a safety box. There is a electric kettle to boil water. You can even take a bath. Not many hotels in this grade has a bathtub. Room is very big but the 30 inch TV looks tiny sitting in the big room.
The breakfast is simple buffet style and is good. There is toast with jam, Instant coffee and tea, Eggs sunny side up and sausages. Salads, Thai food stir fry and steam rice and fruits and croissants.
This is a great place for an overnight stay enroute to Bangkok or HatYai. I will come back.

GGuest UserPon and Fy on reception couldn't do enough for us. Unfortunately and understandably even translation sites couldn't help get the message across on occasion.
As I read on another review, there is noise from a very nearby club and the bathroom is unfinished. The fridge goes off when key removed so a spare fob was kindly supplied to stop the milk going off.
No m/bike available so only taxis/bhtbus.
Having said all that nothing spoilt our personal experience of this place and the staff were excellent

Excellent service Especially the owner Please help recommend places to visit on the island.
There is a transfer service from the hotel to the pier.
Overall, very excellent.
