"The hotel was very clean, with excellent service and a delicious, extensive breakfast. It's right next to Central Udon, making it super convenient for shopping."
"The location is excellent. It was very hot in April, so the air conditioning wasn't very effective. It's conveniently located with a 7-Eleven nearby (1-minute walk), and close to Central Plaza and UD Town. The owner is lovely and friendly. The TV isn't a smart TV, and outside noise is quite loud because it's next to the road. Overall, it's very good."
"The hotel pictures completely misrepresent this hotel. The rooms are worn and older , needing redecoration and the pictures shown bear no resmblance to the actual room. To be fair the bathroom was newish. We stayed across the street at THE OLD INN. Same price , giant rooms , much better"

"The hotel itself is really beautiful, clean, and perfect for photos. The location is also ideal.
That’s basically all when it comes to the positives.
As for the negatives: when I arrived in the late afternoon, I was given a room facing the street. It honestly felt like the walls were made of paper — I could hear everything as if I were standing outside. I asked to change rooms and, without any problem, was given another one on the opposite side of the building. Unfortunately, that side was even louder. It faces restaurants, and in one of them the music was so loud that I could literally hear every word in my room. The music only stopped around 1 a.m., and this was in the middle of the week. I don’t even want to imagine how long it goes on during weekends. It was terrible — sleeping was basically impossible.
The same applies to noise from the hallway. Any time someone was there, everything could be heard clearly inside the room, as if the doors were also made of paper.
Breakfast was also disappointing, with a very limited selection. I’d rate it about 3 out of 5.
To sum up: if you’re looking for a nice, clean hotel in a great location, this is a perfect choice.
But if you’re looking for a place where you can actually relax and rest, this is not the hotel for you."
"I had a pleasant stay overall. The room was lovely and very clean, and the location was perfect for my needs. The staff seemed quite busy during my visit, so the service was just okay, but everything else was great."
"A very simple and good quality hotel, all you need for a short stay. The room is a nice size, it has a small coffee/eating area, a little garden area to chill in and it is a 5 minute walk from the central Udon centre. Staff were friendly and you can do your own laundry on the complex. Great price, great quality (stayed with my girlfriend who echoes my thoughts)."
"A very pleasant hotel. I stayed here for quite a long time. Not all staff speak English fluently, but they genuinely try to help, which is appreciated. The hotel is located a bit far from the “central” part of Udon, but that’s not really an issue — taxis are plentiful, and you can quickly get anywhere you need.
Near the hotel, you’ll find many local shops where you can buy pretty much everything you need. The room itself is quite spacious, and the bed is comfortable — not too firm. Housekeeping can be done every day upon request. They also provide two bottles of water daily (even if you’re not in the room, they’ll leave them by your door), which is a nice touch.
Be careful with food in the room — don’t leave it out for too long, or you’ll get a full parade of ants :) It’s not a big deal, but it might bother some people. Ants are common across Thailand, so this isn’t really the hotel’s fault.
Overall, I recommend it. It’s not quite a full 5-star experience yet, but it definitely deserves a solid 4 stars."

"The hotel is clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and service-minded, really attentive to guests. The room is spotless and the bedding is excellent. They offer bicycles for guests, and everyone gets a welcome drink. In the evenings, they even serve hot soy milk at 8 PM. If you're not in your room, the hotel will use a card to contact you and offer to serve you hot soy milk until 11 PM. The breakfast spread is amazing and really made me happy! If I go to Udon Thani again, I'll definitely come back to stay here."
"This hotel was surprisingly good, especially considering how affordable it was. The room was very nice, well maintained, and much better than expected for the price. There were also plenty of amenities available, which made the stay even more comfortable.
Overall, everything worked well and the experience was pleasant from check-in to check-out. For such a budget-friendly option, the quality offered is excellent.
Definitely a great choice in terms of value for money, and I would happily stay here again."
"Extended my stay at the Old Inn and Udon. Had no difficulty in extending. I had a great stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Udon Thani. The hotel in my opinion has no faults.
Friendly staff, clean and tidy room. Excellent value for money and I look forward to my next stay later this year."

Amazing
DDutch TravellerNice hotel have pool friendly staff we changed rooms and was no problem and no extra cost we even got a bigger room good hotel
SSamer99Check in and check out were both fast and efficient, and no deposit was required which is a huge plus, GSAs were polite. The room is clean, and spacious enough, and the bed and pillows are comfortable, and the room full of all the amenities that you need.
However the TV is not a smart TV, no Netflix or YouTube, and mostly Thai channels only.
The biggest issue is the air conditioning. Guests have no control over the AC in the room, you cannot adjust the temperature, fan speed, or turn it on or off yourself. Even simple situations, like wanting to turn the AC off temporarily, require calling reception, this is very inconvenient. Guests have different comfort needs throughout the day and night, for example while showering and you wanna turn it off to avoid catching a cold. It is not possible without calling reception.
Having to contact the front desk every time for such basic adjustments is not really guest-friendly.
The gym is very small and has almost no machines, so it’s quite limited.
Restaurant staff were friendly, the food was good, and room service was good.
AAnonymous UserThe welcome mango juice was a stylish touch and really lifted my spirits. The room was clean, and the water pressure was perfectly fine. Breakfast was a buffet with a great variety, including salads, Thai dishes, kuay tiao, and mango sticky rice, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't have time this trip, but the pool and gym were clean, so I'll definitely use them next time. We traveled by car, but I wonder if the location might be inconvenient without one? The parking lot was very spacious and could accommodate many cars. There were plenty of shops within walking distance of the hotel, including several Japanese and Korean restaurants, so I didn't feel any inconvenience during my stay. If I have another chance to visit Udon Thani, I'll definitely stay at Napalai Hotel again.
GGuest UserThe rooms were clean and well-equipped. The staff were friendly, and most importantly, there was no disturbing cigarette smell at all. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserMy experience at this hotel is very good in term of cleanliness, location and service ,it's quite near the railway station and UD nigth 's mkt even Central Dept is walkable. The attractive place is around there and massage shop is albg the walk way.
AAndy CageSecond time I have stayed here and will stay again when in the area.
Rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful if needed.
Location is perfect for the nightlife and restaurants and the Central Mall and night markets for all your shopping.
Highly recommend
NNipa T.This is what you can call a homey hotel, as it is built in a big contempolarly 2-storey house, with no elevator. There is only a staff at the front desk, so you may have to take care of yourself, even the staff is friendly and willing to help. We had a problem with the water heater, but they fixed it as soon as on the day we informed them. At their price with the service got, this place is still worthy to have a stay 😁
AAngkhampmsB2 is my absolute favorite! I always choose B2 whenever I travel. It offers great value for money, comfortable accommodations, and overall convenience. This was my first stay at this particular branch, and it was fantastic – it's newly opened, and I had such a good night's sleep. The bed was incredibly comfortable! The staff were very attentive and provided excellent service, which I really appreciate. Plus, this branch is beautifully designed, and the rooms are exceptionally spacious.
GGuest UserIt was an awesome stay! There’s a free shuttle to pick you up or to send tou after check out. The staff are nice and helpful. Definitely staying again on my next trip!
GGenomeThe room is clean, good, the service is very good, the alley is a little narrow, but overall it is worth the price. If there is a chance to go to Udon to stay again
