Casa 33 Hatyai

Amazing

The room was actually quite small, and the water pressure for the shower wasn't great. The hotel is located by the roadside, so there was a lot of noise at night. The hotel service was good, but there's no elevator, so you have to walk up the stairs. For those planning to stay, please bring your own toiletries as the hotel only provides cotton swabs and shower caps.

This was my first time staying here, and I came with my two daughters. We really liked it; the beds were super comfortable. However, the room layout was a bit odd, and the toilet paper holder in the bathroom was quite hard to reach. The towel rack was installed inside the shower, which was unusual. Also, the light switches were a bit confusing to operate. Overall, the room was good. The restaurant's buffet line was quite small, and the seating felt too cramped. The outdoor seating area was so close to the pool that the floor was constantly wet. I saw several people slip and fall. They should definitely put down non-slip mats around the pool area to prevent accidents. Regarding service, there should be staff monitoring the outdoor poolside seating during breakfast, asking guests if they need anything and ensuring their safety. For the sauna, there should be clear instructions on how to use it, as some guests might not know, as well as clear opening and closing times. The operating hours or temperature settings should be standardized (and not placed where guests can adjust them, as this could damage the equipment). As for the fitness center, it should open earlier, perhaps at 7:00 or 8:00 AM. There's also a bit too much equipment, making the room feel small and cramped, especially if multiple guests are using it at once.

The Smart Hotel Hat Yai is in a great location, near Central Hatyai and Makro, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to nearby attractions, which is very helpful for travelers. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff are friendly, helpful, and provide good service throughout the stay. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone visiting Hat Yai.

The hotel's most impressive features are the beautiful lobby, automated toilets, and bathroom decor. However, the in-room toilets are not automated, and the bathroom tiles are different. The shower gel smells lovely, but the shampoo leaves hair dry, and there's no conditioner. The water pressure is poor, and the hot water is unstable. There are no slippers and no doorbell. The internet disconnects during the day and can't be reconnected. Soundproofing is bad, but the bedding is comfortable, and the pillows are just right – neither too soft nor too firm. The hotel's ground floor offers complimentary coffee and snacks, but the drinks are unpleasant; many people just pour coffee and leave it untouched. There's no air conditioning indoors. The location is very convenient, with excellent connectivity. It's a 3-minute walk to Peter's Panang Nian Gao, an 8-minute walk to Hood Coffee (highly recommend the 'dirty' coffee – it's not too sweet or greasy), and a 10-minute walk to Kim Yong Market and Lee Garden Plaza, where you can find anything you want to eat. If it rains, you can borrow an umbrella from the hotel. The staff are nice, and the hotel can arrange car transfers for guests to and from Penang, the Malaysia border customs, and tours in Songkhla city, costing around 2,000-3,000 Thai Baht. In-room massage services can also be booked.

I absolutely love my stay at Manonta Hotel in Hat Yai. The hotel is clean, modern, and beautifully maintained. The room is spacious and comfortable, with everything I need for a relaxing stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting me with warm smiles and excellent service. The location is perfect — close to many great food spots and shopping areas, yet quiet enough for a good night’s rest. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

I checked out from the hotel some time after 8am, and upon inspection of the room, their housekeeper and front desk accused us of stealing their one of pool towels. On the first day of our stay, they had indeed provided 2 pool towels, which we had used and had been taken by their housekeeper during housekeeping. However, they only provided 1 pool towel yesterday, but we did not request any extra since only one of our members went swimming. In the end, they charged us 350 baht for stealing/losing their pool towel, even though they did not provide the complete set of 2 in the first place. Before I checked out, I also witnessed the group in front of me who were also accused of stealing their towel, which they were charged 100 baht. The group insisted that they had even brought their own towels and never used the hotel’s, but were nevertheless forced to pay the compensation fee even because we had no proof that the housekeeping did not provide the complete set in the first place. I strongly suspect that we were being scammed by the hotel staff on this, because this is a relatively decent and nicer hotel, and proper guests were staying here. There’s absolutely no reason for any of us to be stealing their towels. If I couldn’t even afford a towel, I would not be staying here at all. And if it had only been us falling victim to this, my suspicions would not have been this strong but it is too much of a coincidence for both groups to be accused of stealing their towels. On an additional note, they were not even able to provide a complete set of towels for us 4pax when we called to request, because there weren’t enough to go around (according to them). They could’ve also easily use this against us and accuse us of stealing the bath towels too, and we would not have been able to prove ourselves either. My only mistake was not requesting a receipt for the compensation fee that I had to pay, but I don’t think it would’ve made much of a difference. I have lodged an official complaint anyway via Trip to hopefully prevent future incidents. Just want to put this out here to warn others who are considering staying here in the future. Avoid if you don’t want to ruin a nice hotel experience by leaving with a sour taste in your mouth. Truly a shame that the level of service and integrity of the staffs did not live up to the standards of the hotel.

The hotel's location and customer service were great. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room, and a strong smell coming from the drain. The bathroom in the room was quite unappealing due to the sewer smell. I hope you can address these issues. Other than that, everything was fine.

Malaysian to visits Hatyai, I'm suggesting you to stay here. The hotel is located at calm area (besides, there is Bangkok hospital nearby, but the ambulance siren is rarely hear). The room is biggest with balcony, fridge, wardrobe, tv, table, mirror and etc. Comfort bed, freezing aircooler. The staffs are friendly. Walking distance to nomjeen na Halal restaurant, amazon cafe, the biggest 7e in hatyai also big C extra supermarket. I really2 satisfied with this hotel staycation. Do book here.

The hotel hygiene is well maintained. We love the ambience. If you need to shop, there’s a mini Big C store right infront of the hotel. Entrance for hotel is behind Big C. There’s no lift, so the staff helped us to carry our luggage. We checked in late around 9pm and the staff on the duty at the receptionist that night wasn’t so friendly. Had the difficulty to communicate and gave us look when she was frustrated. The staff we meet earlier in the morning and during the checkout were nice and warm. The TV was not a smart tv, so there’s only 3 news channel available. Tv remote control not functioning. The blind/curtain is see through.
