"Great hotel! It's not luxurious, but it offers excellent value for money. The location isn't downtown, but it's strategic; a few minutes by subway will take you to Manhattan and everywhere else. Friendly staff, room cleaned every day, we couldn't have asked for more for the price we paid. I recommend it."

"Great location close to subway stations and in the middle of new development neighborhood and restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly. Breakfast offers only processed food with no vegetables. Buying some salads veggies from nearby Traders Joe worked for me. Not offering drinking water was a downside. I was concerned with security because there were no security measures."

"If you have the means, I highly recommend staying on the main island (Manhattan). Over here, bums at the subway station actually chase people 😅. Luckily, we ran fast. Every night, as soon as it got dark, walking back to the hotel felt unsettling for an entire week. Thankfully, the police seemed to be in that area 24/7. If you're a group of 2-5 people, you might feel a bit safer. Next time, we are definitely staying in Manhattan 😅. The surrounding area seems to be a predominantly Black residential neighborhood. I had to walk around looking absolutely unapproachable just to feel safe, and I was wearing a pink down jacket and white pants (you can imagine how conspicuous I looked!), making me seem very approachable! I felt like if someone bothered me, nothing would happen!! 😠 I suggest anyone staying here wear all black, a hat, and try to look tough – you'll probably feel safer… If someone asks you for money at the subway station, ignore them! Look down and keep walking. Don't make eye contact with anyone!! At night, after getting off the subway, always stand in the middle of a crowd. One time, because I was dawdling and ended up at the back of the line, a homeless person chased us. Luckily, they seemed underfed and couldn't run fast 🙏. Also, don't order takeout from Flushing. We ordered some 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) and it took 6 hours to arrive (ordered at 7 PM, delivered at 12:30 AM 🌚). New York is beautiful! (By the way, the hotel doesn't provide disposable toothbrushes, any disposable toiletries, or even a kettle, or bottled water. Remember to buy a large bottle of water, it's more economical. A bottle of water downstairs at the hotel costs five dollars. Remember to bring slippers 🩴). Everything was very interesting!"

"The hotel's surroundings are rather poor, as it's located in a predominantly Black neighborhood and the road to the subway station is quite dirty. The hotel rooms, however, are relatively new, being in a newly opened location. With breakfast included, the price is reasonable, considering the hotel's relatively new interior."

"Overall, this is truly a hotel with top-notch service. The location is great, with access to multiple subway lines, but what really stood out was the incredibly friendly and attentive service from the hotel staff. The room was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the fitness facilities, which were convenient and well-maintained. My only suggestion is regarding the hotel breakfast. I'd recommend skipping it and finding something to eat nearby instead. While the breakfast staff were friendly and the Starbucks coffee was a nice touch, the selection was quite limited, mostly consisting of bread and a few microwaved items, which wasn't great. Just something to keep in mind. Nonetheless, it was a very good hotel overall, and I'd love to stay here again if I have the chance. Thank you!"

"The room facilities are a bit old, but overall it's acceptable, and the bathroom is quite clean. What I don't understand is the lack of drinking water and slippers. The two bottles of water in the room are for Hilton Gold members; others have to pay $3, while they're $0.65 at the supermarket. They charged me a deposit, but shouldn't that be waived for non-Ctrip members? 😓"

SSamantha_TRoom was clean and the views were amazing (see photo of the view from our room)! Although it’s a slight distance from manhattan, but it’s worth it. Nearest metro station is across the street but there’s only stairs (something to note if you are carrying luggages!) but the hotel is a walking distance from other metro stations as well so travelling is an ease. Would recommend for those who are looking to stay at a good place in Brooklyn!

KKitrynThis hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there, and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-) either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

Aaimei2023-01-09The room was very average, with old and outdated facilities. The towels were so stiff they could stand upright, and I have pictures to prove it. The security was very high. The hotel didn't offer breakfast, which was very disappointing. There was an older lady from Shanghai at the front desk who was very nice and made me feel very welcome! The bedside lamp in the room was broken and kept flickering, making it unusable!

CC.FGI was really lucky to pick such a great hotel in New York this time. It's located in Manhattan's Financial District, super close to the 9/11 Memorial – probably just a 5-minute walk. The neighborhood has convenience stores, coffee shops, and several restaurants. Plus, multiple subway lines make it super easy to get to Midtown Manhattan or Brooklyn. Although the hotel's decor looks a bit dated, it's very well-maintained. The room interiors are comfortable, and some room types offer views of the Hudson River. On sunny days, waking up to that view made my morning every time.

KKyle TanIt was seamless, from check-in to check-out. I was able to request for late check-out. Upon check-out I left my luggage so I could still roam around. Got my luggage back safe. Breakfast is okay. Not grand. But I was able to eat everything. I normally couldn’t eat breakfast from cheap priced bookings cause it’s normally bad, but here, I was able to make use of it.

AAnonymous UserThe room is spacious and even has a separate walk-in closet. There are shops and a Starbucks downstairs, making dining convenient. There's also a small gym. It's just a few minutes' walk to Central Park and MoMA. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is about a twenty-minute walk away. Carnegie Hall is diagonally across from the hotel, and Lincoln Center is a 10-15 minute walk. There's a subway station nearby, but for the Line 1, you need to walk a few minutes to Columbus Circle. Times Square is also just a few minutes' walk, so the location is truly excellent. The facilities are a bit dated, especially the elevators which frequently break down, leaving only one working, so waiting times are long. Housekeeping is just so-so. The lobby restaurant on the first floor has live jazz performances on some evenings. Overall, compared to other hotels, it offers good value for money. The older facilities aren't an issue for me.

GGuest UserThe price was quite a good deal for New York, especially with a discount. The facilities and decor are up to Hilton's standards, but!! It was incredibly, unbelievably crowded. Expect to wait about an hour just to park, with only one staff member working. Checking in at the front desk, buying coffee, and even storing luggage all involved long queues. It seems like a lot of airline crew stay here too, so definitely factor in extra time for everything. There are tons of hidden fees. The deposit was given as a voucher, luggage storage cost extra, and even the in-room mini-bar items were charged. Given the location and the total price of $150, I guess I'll just put up with it.

GGuest UserMy wife, our 5-year-old son, and I recently spent 3 memorable nights at Hotel Indigo New York Downtown Wall Street during our family trip to New York City, and it proved to be the perfect home base for exploring the city’s iconic Financial District and beyond. Nestled at the corner of Wall and Water Streets, the hotel’s location is unbeatable—just steps from the New York Stock Exchange, a 5-minute walk to the Wall Street subway station, and within easy reach of attractions like the 9/11 Memorial, South Street Seaport, and Brooklyn Bridge, which were all engaging for our curious little one. We booked a standard room with two queen beds, which was surprisingly spacious and comfortable for our small family of three. The room was impeccably clean, featuring modern decor that blends classic charm with contemporary style, hardwood floors, and large noise-canceling windows that kept the busy city sounds at bay—a lifesaver for our son, who needs a quiet space to rest after long days of sightseeing. The plush bedding ensured we all slept soundly, and the room was well-equipped with plenty of USB charging ports and free Wi-Fi, which kept our son entertained with his tablet during downtime. We also appreciated the daily housekeeping and complimentary bottled water, small touches that made our stay more convenient. What impressed us most was how family-friendly the hotel was, even in the heart of the bustling Financial District. The staff was incredibly warm, patient, and attentive—they greeted our son by name after the first day and went out of their way to make him feel welcome. The lobby had a cozy lounge area with free Wi-Fi, where we could relax with our son before heading out, and there were convenient coffee stations for a quick pick-me-up in the morning. The hotel is also pet-friendly, though we didn’t bring our furry friend, it was nice to see the welcoming vibe extended to all families. The hotel’s amenities were perfectly suited for our family trip. The 24-hour fitness center allowed my wife and I to squeeze in a quick workout while our son napped, and the concierge was extremely helpful—recommending family-friendly restaurants nearby and helping us plan our itinerary to avoid crowds at popular attractions like the One World Observatory, where we even got a 25% discount card through the hotel. We also loved exploring the surrounding neighborhood on foot, with cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and the charming Tin Building just a short walk away. Overall, our stay at Hotel Indigo New York Downtown Wall Street was fantastic. The hotel’s prime location, comfortable and quiet rooms, thoughtful amenities, and warm, family-focused service made our New York City trip unforgettable. It’s the perfect choice for families traveling with young children who want to be in the heart of the action while still having a peaceful place to retreat. We highly recommend it and would definitely return on our next family trip to NYC.

PpovofsgI stayed here for 5 nights and I thought it was perfect. It was a last minute deal and it was such a bargain price. Located in Times Square, it’s a perfect hotel if you’re solo or it’s your first time in New York. You’re not far from Times Square, within 30 mins of Central Park and probably an hour walk to Brooklyn bridge (but you can get the subway). The staff were nice, especially the cleaners. The room was small, but I felt safe. There were lots of coffee, it was clean and not too noisy despite the location. I went during the winter and it was warm enough with thin pjs on. The lift was working fine too. I highly recommend.
