"I had really good sleep during my stay. The room was very cozy. Toiletries (towel, body wash, shampoo) were provided. The shower room was very clean and the body wash and shampoo smell amazing. Check in and out were quick and straight forward. I also really like how aesthetic the whole place is. Would definitely recommend for solo travellers."

"Very good location. Lexington and 23 rd. Quiet area mid town. Safe. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The cafe downstairs - Smile to go had good coffee and simple breakfast menu that was tasty and affordable. Folded egg muffin was delicious."

"Location is very central, staff nice enough and with service charge of $36 you can have a free breakfast ans a drink a day…but not if u are vegan!! To be fair for the price range I was expecting something a bit more up class ."

"The room was as shown on the website. Even though it is a bit small which is normal for New York standard, it is clean and offers everything you need. The bathroom is exceptionally clean and nicely build. However, we needed to wait a bit for hot water in the evening. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of basic food and drinks. The staff was super friendly and answered all the questions properly."

"Best room service we’ve ever had!! The cleaning staff were incredible and made it feel like a new room each day! Location is right next to the park where Statue of Liberty tours take place, but several miles from Times Square and Fifth Avenue. There are PLENTY of subways around to get you uptow in 30ish minutes though! Breakfast is at a restaurant in the same building, typical no frills buffet but we enjoyed it. It’s definitely not as fancy and outstanding as the double tree hotels we’ve stayed at in other cities, but NYC tends to do that with its long-established buildings which are often converted into other types of establishments over time. We were happy with our stay in the end and would come again!"

"Excellent customer service from all the staff at the front desk. Perfect location in Williamsburg at the heart of it all. The pod plus room is extremely comfortable and good value for what it is. The normal pod room is extremely small with a shower over toilet situation And better for a solo traveler, as opposed to a couple. We will be returning to the pod hotel Brooklyn in the future."

"This hotel is located in Midtown on 8th Avenue, not far from Penn Station, making it very convenient for transportation. It's an old building with no elevator. The hotel is on the top floor, so you'll need to climb 59 steps to reach the front desk. The staff are helpful and will even assist you with carrying luggage upstairs. The rooms are small, partitioned off from a larger open-plan space, about three square meters each. Your suitcase can only fit under the bed. The top of the room is open for ventilation, which means there's almost no soundproofing. It's a bit like Hong Kong's 'cage homes' – if one person talks, almost everyone in the other rooms can hear it. Because of this, the hotel repeatedly emphasizes maintaining quiet. They provide free drinking water, and there's a microwave and refrigerator available for use. Breakfast includes milk, bread, butter, coffee, juice, cake, cereal, fruit, and soy milk. The hotel's background seems to be Nepalese Hinduism, as they emphasize vegetarianism. No meat products are allowed into the hotel, not even eggs."

"The hotel location is convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station and not far from Chinatown. I stayed around the Chinese New Year, and the area was a bit crowded due to the weather and scaffolding, but overall, getting around was still very easy. The room was a bit compact, but it was clean and tidied daily. The front desk service was polite, and the complimentary breakfast for two was a great bonus. The breakfast was à la carte with a good variety of choices. There's also a gym in the basement. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience."
