"This is the second time my husband and I stayed at Eurostars! We live this hotel for it's close proximity to a lot of shops, restaurants, tourist attractions, supermarkets, bars. I love that they have a sauna to use whenever I need a detox. The room is spacious and the staffs are super friendly and accommodating! This is such a hidden gem and my go to hotel whenever I visit Chicago! Definitely go to their restaurant downstairs which is situated within the hotel (River North Bistro) for Happy Hour!!!!"

However, upon arrival with my partner, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and well-decorated, with a modern and cohesive style. Our check-in process was fast and efficient, and the receptionist was friendly and happy to answer all of our questions—especially about the fees mentioned on the hotel’s website. One of the main issues people seem to bring up is the so-called “hidden” fees. In my experience, these fees are not actually hidden—they’re listed on the hotel’s official website. That said, they could definitely be communicated more clearly. It’s important to read the fine print when booking and during check-in. While the fees may not be obvious at first glance, the hotel is legally allowed to include them since they are technically disclosed. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with enough space to hang clothes. There were multiple hangers, and the locker-style closets matched the hotel’s sporty decor. The floor and bathroom were clean overall, though I did spot a spider in the corner of the shower—but nothing alarming. The downstairs common area includes an open kitchen with a communal fridge and even a crockpot, which was a nice surprise. There were also several games available, like ping pong and air hockey, which makes this place family- and couple-friendly. Guests are allowed to enjoy drinks provided in the kitchen. If you’re sensitive to noise, particularly trains, I recommend requesting a room farther down the hall on the first floor. Our room was in a quiet spot—I barely noticed the train, and when I did, it was more like soft white noise. Still, bringing earplugs might help if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, I recommend this hotel. It’s in a nice area, the decor is visually appealing, and the stay was enjoyable. Just be aware of a $120 refundable deposit (if no damage is done to the room) and an additional $50 guest fee. Knowing that ahead of time helps avoid surprises. I’m very grateful for the pleasant stay and would return again."

"The location is excellent, right on the edge of Chicago Financial City, an 8-minute walk to the Sears Tower, and a short bridge to the Chicago Center. The rooms are OK, but a little old, and the lobby is basically at the level of a domestic homestay. In other words, Crowne Plaza is basically a three-star hotel in the United States, and has nothing to do with the five-star hotels in China."

"Pretty good, mainly because it's affordable. The location is excellent, very close to Starbucks. As for the room, the bathroom and sink are small. Also, the room isn't cleaned daily; you have to specifically request it in advance if you want service."
