Hotels near District 11, Ho Chi Minh City

During my recent stay in District 10, I discovered it to be an ideal location for an authentic Saigon experience. The hotel was perfectly situated, surrounded by a vibrant local atmosphere and an incredible variety of dining options, from bustling street food stalls to cozy, modern cafes. It offered easy access to nearby attractions like the local flower markets and various entertainment centers. My room was clean, well-equipped, and provided excellent value for the price. For travelers seeking a blend of comfort and local culture, this hotel is a fantastic choice.

I stayed here on my last day in Vietnam as a solo traveler. I chose it because I had an afternoon flight and wanted somewhere with easy access to the city center, but also close to the airport. While it's slightly more expensive than other hotels, the staff's service, room cleanliness, and excellent location were truly outstanding. It's definitely a place I'd want to stay again when I return to Vietnam. I used an external laundry service and requested delivery, but I wasn't available to receive it. When I asked the staff if they could handle the payment and reception for me, they readily agreed. They even put the change from the money I'd left in advance neatly together. When I lost my room key, I wasn't charged, which was very considerate of them. In other hotels, you often have to brace yourself for cohabiting with insects, but I didn't see a single ant here. It's a wonderfully well-maintained establishment.

Perfectly situated near Ho Thi Ky Market and Van Hanh Mall, making it an ideal base for exploring. The area is a haven for dinings, with the flower market’s vibrant street food stalls offering endless local delicacies. I enjoyed shopping at the modern mall and soaking in the authentic local atmosphere of District 10. The location balances traditional charm with urban convenience, providing easy access to everything needed for a memorable stay.

A big thank you to Nam, the staff member here, who was incredibly helpful and genuinely assisted us with our luggage. He's a super kind Vietnamese guy. The other staff were also polite and good. The hotel environment and breakfast were both pretty decent. The only thing is, don't stay on a high floor. We were on the 9th floor and the toilet's water pressure was very low, which was a real hassle.

The owner Tuan and his sister Na were very nice and accomodating owners willing to fufill any resonable requests that the guests needed. Bathrooms and shower stalls were clean. Sink was clean. Had a dining where you can sit down and eat as well as do other things. The kitchen was clean where it had enough dishes and utensils for the guests to use. Kitchen also had some 2 good rice cookers guests could use. It also had all the basic necessities that a person could use to cook food like Soy Sauce, oil, as well as other ingredients to cook food with. Also had a mini lounge area for guests to relax like read a book or use a laptop. Also has a washer and a dryer as a bonus for the guests to dry their clothing after washing it. Rooms were clean and provided basic necessities like toilet paper, q-tips, shampoo, body wash, and a toothbrush. The only negative thing about this place was that the personal rooms like space to do things which is not good if you are staying for the long term. Tuan's wife dental service was good in that the place is well lited and the color of the place which provides a welcoming atmosphere for patients from a psychological standpoint. They are very supportive in making the patient feel as comfortable as possible with their treatment where they feel minimal pain. They also make sure that everything is done right where the patient is satisfied and has no complaint. Treatment prices are very affordable compared to other dental clinics here in Saigon and if you are guest at their place, they will give you a discount. Would have liked to continue to stay here again, but needed a place with more space. Will be more than happy to comeback here again if the situation fits me!

The room is tight, narrow and a bit mysterious. The surrounding area is also quite inconvenient to travel, there are not many places to eat. The hotel is old, not as in the picture.

Pros: About this hotel is that it is located in a good area in district 10, not far from downtown (district 1), about 4-5 km, which is 20 minutes by car! It's an old-style boutique hotel! Rooms are tidy and cozy! Breakfast is basic and nice. They have a small gym that can be functional for people who like to stay fit. The hotel is easy to find and approach by car. Cons: First, they put that they have a spa and sauna on the app and in the system, but actually, when you come there, they don't have it at all! Don’t put false information on the internet and fool people! Remove it if you are not able to provide this service. Second, I have been to many hotels all around the world! This is the first time this has happened to me: the hotel has a stupid rule that doesn't allow guests after 10 pm to come to your room if you are a foreigner! They explain ”safety reasons,” which is totally nonsense and strikes into the privacy of individuals and is not acceptable. A strange thing happened: they canceled my room card around 11 am when I got back to the room, and I needed to go to the reception to make my room card functional! Also, they call you on the telephone to inform you to check out from the room like you are a kid and you don't know when you need to do it, haha! If the staff could have more patience and be flexible, it would be better. In summary, the total realistic score of this hotel is 3 out of 5! I hope they can read this constructive criticism and improve these disadvantages for future guests.

The soundproofing is a bit poor; I could hear people walking around in the room upstairs or next door at night. The showerhead holder in the bathroom was a bit loose, so it kept falling down every time I turned on the water. The water pressure was great, and there was plenty of hot water. The location is convenient; I could easily go out and buy my favorite durian, which was a plus! Overall, it was decent.

The room was simple, but it was good that there were many restaurants around. I made this area to go to the acquaintance this time, but it was a little deep and fun.

It was already evening when I arrived at the airport, so I chose a cheap hotel that I could stay in and was close to the airport. I could sleep and take a shower, but there was nothing else to ask for. There was a place selling fudou at the corner of the intersection. You could go there for breakfast. The boss is nice and the location is good.
