"I’m not sure where to begin. This has to be one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at. From the moment we arrived, we could get a sense of how special this place is. Nothing is too much trouble, anything you ask for is accommodated. The resort is stunning - a bit hilly, but that doesn’t matter as you can get a lift in a club car whenever you need. Our suite was located at the top of the resort and had the most amazing views over Elounda ,a very generous garden with a huge private pool. My lasting impression was watching the sunrise through floor to ceiling windows from the comfort of the very comfortable bed. The grounds are maintained to a high standard. All of the staff without exception had a smile on their faces and were so so friendly and helpful. Food choices were plentiful and delicious with buffet breakfast and a wide menu for lunch and dinner. Waiting staff, led by Sophia , were extremely professional and it made for a very relaxing dining experience. If I could have squeezed Maria from reception into my suitcase, she would be home here with me now….absolutely delightful, as were the other ladies , in fact my list would be endless if I had to mention individual staff.Thank you so much for a fabulous holiday…. I’m sure we’ll be back."

"Wonderful stay! Not far from the city center, the pools are nice and the staffs are friendly. Breakfast was so good and they even have live musician playing for dinner. Amazing, would definitely recommend to others! Bus station is just ten minutes away from the hotel. Very easy to get here from Agios Nikolaos station. The bus costs only 7.8€ from Héraklion city. Loved every single second of my stay!"

"We stayed at the hotel in early June for a week and were really disappointed, the majority of staff were friendly and great at acknowledging issues in a friendly way (which suggested it was standard practice given many shared the same view as us). If paying 3 star prices then I could have lived with this but we didn't so expectations are naturally higher. Overall there is a discernible lack of attention to detail within the upkeep (communal areas not tidied or well presented, glass screens on the waterfall were caked in Limescale that would have taken about 15 mins to wash off but no one did so even during fallow periods around the pool) and running of the hotel, examples of which included, pool bar area is a disaster and is also failing to maximize its earning potential for the hotel, no drinks or food menus so you needed to play 20 questions to guess what was available (this meant that we ate out each lunchtime along with the majority of people who stayed there) bar man at best apathetic and not on it, rules regarding sunbeds blatantly ignored with 3hr reserving and disappearance common place and in one instance Essex guests inviting their non-resident mates over who took beds and hogged the area (loudly). Sunbed covers stained unpleasantly, towels never had any at the pool so had to traipse 4 stories to get them from reception, room had an expresso machine but no pods (we scoured Elonuda for any and its clear they don't sell the type, so why not just remove the machines?), one cup in the room, towels when replaced only 1 not 2, food average at best, cocktail bar not open along with downstairs cafe bar, whirlpool broken, booked garden room yet didn't get one (one we got had a glass balcony which was wobbling and loose) , communal shower area had to request it be cleaned before using on the last day then it was full of mosquitos and got bitten when showering to leave, the list goes on. Basically this needs regrading to a 3 star and probably needs an experienced manager to come in with a snagging list for the structure and a keen eye for detail with the staff to repurpose and motivate them, its not unsalvageable but will require effort, leadership and direction to turn round properly. Id advise anyone booking to look at the tripadvisor reviews from this year and make a decision on booking with their eyes open, its a shame as Elounda is a beautiful place and we had an enjoyable time in the town and at the lovely restaurants in and around the harbour."

"Stunning hotel! Beautiful views and great service. The best pool area we have ever had. Good variety of food. Some live music in the evenings would be a nice touch. A very relaxing week in a secluded spot…it’s at least one and a half hours from the airport."

"Loved the place nothing too much trouble, from start to finish , drink when arrived was midnight And told to sit and relax while they checked us in , the food was great variety, Italian bar was great staff work hard Food was great, shout out to guy who taken drink orders around our pool near Italian he never stopped, Definitely 5* was bigger than we thought and it was in nice location near the sea and few other bars Will definitely be back to this hotel we loved it."

"The treatements start by you having a shower and beeing able to go inside two saunas for 1/2h to wind down. The staff is very friendly and the ambient very relaxing. The massage was done by stehpano ( I hope I spelled the name right) and it was also very good and relaxing, he adjusts the pressure however you like and makes sure that everything is good for you."

"Apart from the lovely surroundings of the apartment and the fact that it is very close to the beach what stands out is the obvious attention to details in the building and the room itself. The views from the room was breathtaking and the terrace absolutely perfect to sip your morning coffee. The rooms are fully equipped and with lovely details such as the lighting fixtures, wall design and small decorations that make the whole room feel more homely and not a generic hotel room. I was particularly impressed by the attention that was paid not only to the rooms but also the overall building - night time views even more so. You can expect great value for money here and enjoy your stay and the lovely aesthetic not only of Crete, but also the hotel itself."
