"Centrally located up a side street close to the port the accommodation is spotlessly clean. Ilaria is the wonderful personable girl who maintains the rooms and is an absolute Delight. We had room 106 just below the terrace where we had chips , dips and drinks every afternoon during the week we stayed. The terrace has cooking facilities which are excellent, lacking only a microwave. We were alone in the sunshine up there every day, so it was like our own private area overlooking the port. Carmelo the owner can not be faulted. My only suggestion would be the provision of a sheet with emergency numbers and some local recommendations. We cannot praise this location highly enough. it was the best in every respect of our 4 weeks in Italy"

"An absolute dream of a place to stay. Staff is beyond friendly. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. The hotel is situated 1 block away from the beach. This is your home away from home. Extremely safe. It's perfect in the summer because you're seconds away from jumping into the beautiful sea. And for winter it's the best place to stay for a digital nomad. Wifi works great. I would give 10 stars if I could."

"What a magical place - we loved our stay at Hotel Carasco. There are the most stunning views from everywhere - your room, the various terraces, the pool - and lounging seaside and swimming in the crystal clear ocean was just incredible. The staff are all lovely and the open air restaurant (also with amazing views!) was a very inviting place to linger over breakfast and other meals. It’s also an easy walk into the charming town of Lipari (if you can bear to leave). We had a wonderful time!"

"Therasia Sea Resort & SPA is the best of both worlds. It is both a place and a feeling! No matter how well traveled you are, here the place will cast its spell upon you. It is the first time in my life (although having been to numerous dreamy destinations) that I could stay for hours and hours just watching the view and feeling like I could not get enough of it. There are some things that drew my attention while staying in this property: 1. The youthful staff. It was great to see all those young people highly committing to meet everyone’s needs. Always with a smile and willing to help you throughout the day. Marta and Maria really excelled in what they did (the rest of the staff were great too). 2. We were upgraded to a Premier Room which was such a nice gesture on the hotel’s behalf given the fact that they already knew we were on our honeymoon. Being thoughtful about extra details made us feel the spirit they put into what they do. Our terrace/ veranda was huge and we got to have view of the sea and the lush gardens. We would stay there for hours during the evening until midnight, just enjoying the beauty of the surroundings. 3. The hotel feels private yet not isolated and we had a regenerative and meditative experience provided by the fact that NOT in a single moment did we feel that the staff was pushy or uncomfortable. It nourished us with peace and quiet. Also, even though there may be 120 people around, given the fact that hotel’s facilities are distributed and well-appointed everywhere, you would feel like you own the place since never will you encounter a crowded space. 4. The breakfast is so good. Choices for everyone and an eye on the healthy choices for the more diet and wellness-oriented ones. I found Lamil very knowledgeable about the ingredients of different plates. He was so welcoming and nice that we could not imagine having breakfast without having him around. Noemi as well was really professional. Some staff members also spoke German besides English and that is good to know for German travelers (despite me not being German). 5. The shuttle bus to the port offered added commodity to those unwilling to go on foot for 2 km and reach the port by themselves. You only have to book in advance. Ciro, one of the drivers was always welcoming us with a genuine and authentic heart and smile. He really stood out with the extra care he provided for our luggage during our departure. 6. There are 4 pools, 2 of which with salty (sea) water. You can access the sea as well through stairway platforms. Just keep in mind that you have to climb some stairs to get to the upper-level pools, or climb down to the sea. The overall experience was really good. It was great to see the effort that almost everyone put into keeping up with the seasonal workload. We could see the gardeners at 6:00 am taking care of each flower and the rest of the staff serving as if they just had the shift starting. Alla prossima!"

"Sufficient stay but nothing special. Friendly staff and structure quite close to the center of Vulcano (about 10 minutes walk from the port) but there are many improvements to be made: the look of the rooms should be modernized a bit and the shower trays should be changed because they seem dirty and in reality they are just old and ruined, even the bedroom fridge should be renewed with something stronger that (especially in summer) keeps things cold and not simply cool. The TV does not work completely and the internet connection is also quite unstable. The breakfast absolutely needs to be improved as it is very poor both in quantity and quality. Unfortunately, something should also be done for the swimming pool to improve the temperature of the water which, both in the morning and in the afternoon, is always too hot and there is no relief in getting in. Recommended if you do not have great expectations of your stay or if you just have to sleep there."

"From the very start of planning my trip to departure, I had no issues what so ever in communicating with the owners. They answered all my questions no matter what day or time it was! I live in the US, so you need to realize the time difference. They were always there to respond and put my mind at ease. I just recently stayed at this accommodation for 6 nights. The place is unbelievable!!! It is cheerful & pretty, very clean, has everything you need or want, the owners are very kind and they ask you to call them if you need anything at any time, you can use the rooftop terrace area and there is also a washing machine there to use if you need it, beautiful views, it is close to pretty much everything of walking distance, and I felt safe. I have no complaints and would rate it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+. I was even met at the port on arrival and it was a Sunday afternoon, WOW!!!! Impressive! I look forward to returning💙 Thank you for a great stay!"

"The only positive note, the location, a few steps from the Canneto seafront and the shuttle stop that takes you to Lipari. Decent rooms. Really basic hospitality, staff not at all professional in managing the Hotel. Unpleasant episode, we found the breakfast counter completely empty, justifying themselves by having forgotten that we had to have breakfast and instead of doing something they asked if it was the case not to bake the croissants and settle for what was left (nothing). Too much "bar" chatter among the staff and little attention to the guest."
