"This is absolutely a world-class resort hotel! The most commendable aspect is the service team – large, efficient, and polite. Every staff member, including the engineers and gardeners, greets guests politely. The restaurant staff are of high caliber, perhaps a characteristic of Mexican labor practices. The environmental design echoes the ancient Chinese saying, "The mountains and rivers seem to block the way, but then a village appears amidst the willows and flowers." We stayed for five days and discovered something new every day. There's not only a swimming pool, but also a heated pool and a lazy river. The nights are exceptionally romantic; besides the uniquely styled restaurants, guests can book with the hotel for various scenarios, such as a beach bonfire, poolside, etc., with no fewer than a dozen options, including wedding settings. The restaurants offer Italian, seafood, creative Thai, and Japanese cuisine – a very diverse selection. The mattress in the room was unusually high; we had to climb up. I don't know why. The room was cleaned twice a day, morning and evening. For three consecutive mornings, we went to the beach at around 6 AM to watch the sunrise and take photos – a truly relaxing trip. It had a strong exotic feel!"

"A decent resort has been turned into the most predatory tourist trap. No menu prices online so we were shocked to arrive and see food and drinks charged at exorbitant rates, more than double what we are used to paying back home in the states. Gym was nice but had rotten fruit in the snack basket. No coffee machine in the room (seriously?) and a basic latte in the basement Starbucks is $10 USD. Wow. The staff were helpful and friendly. A nice resort, but not at all worth the insane prices paid."

"The Nobo Cabo property is incredibly clean, and rooms are the same way. The service is as good as anywhere we have stayed, and the food is also probably the best all throughout the property compared to any resort anywhere.. Prepare for pretty high prices on the menu, but so long as you are prepared for that, you will find this is the best food overall at a resort you could imagine. The one drawback is that the wind blows pretty hard all the time. Nobu is on the Pacific side of the peninsula, and I'm not sure it ever gets calm, but they say the winter months are different. Great beach for walking but too dangerous for swimming. Unbelievable sunsets!"

"I have now stayed on both sides of the Jw Mariott Los Cabos and I can say I highly recommend Casa Maat. If you’re trying to decide between the two, you won’t go wrong either way but Casa Maat definitely takes luxury to the next level. Not only are you taken through separate check in but you have a whole section of the hotel to yourselves. The lounge at Casa Maat is probably the best perc of spending the extra money. You have a free breakfast every morning, lunch time snacks, and a different themed dinner every night. It helped a ton if you’re not trying to spend a ton extra but don’t want to stay at an all inclusive. The private pool was amazing with a beach view and personal concierge. I can not recommend it enough. Had an amazing birthday trip thanks to all the staff. Special shout out to our butler team, Jesus, Ricardo, and Dassaed!"

"The transportation of this hotel is extremely inconvenient. You cannot use Uber after checking in. You must ask Bellman to call a taxi when going out for fun, which costs at least half as much as Uber. The hotel is located in a remote area, about an hour's drive from the airport. The overall facilities are relatively simple. In addition to the swimming pool, there are only a few activities to participate in. The attitude of the service staff is not bad, and the hotel environment is clean, but there are almost construction sites around. The "sea view room" we stayed in on the first night actually had a large construction site outside the window, and only a small corner could see the sea, which seriously affected our mood. After coordinating with the front desk for an hour, I was told that there was no room to change on the first night, and I could only try to arrange a room that could not see the construction site on the second night."

"Overall: "Rough" best describes the overall experience. I initially thought the Ritz-Carlton Reserve would represent a higher standard, but my five-night experience was worse than the standard version. On the positive side, the Mexican staff at several restaurants were very friendly and frequently came over for chats. The front desk was somewhat rough; it took three tries to open the room key, and the back-and-forth between the room and the front desk took a long time. The decor was rough, and the plastic shower had a pitifully weak water flow. I've never seen a high-star hotel use a standard American standard toilet. The toilet paper quality needs improvement. The bulky wooden blackout curtains are far less convenient than electric curtains, and they were warped and wouldn't close properly, letting in bright sunlight early in the morning. The wine cabinet light stayed on all night even when the door was closed. In the hotel's main restaurant, Humo, only the bread sauce was good; the appetizers and main courses were truly terrible, overly salty, and they even miscalculated the bill, charging twice. With only a few tables occupied, the service was incredibly slow. Overall: I will never stay at the Ritz-Carlton Reserve again."
