Luxury Hotels in Sleman Regency

"LOOKING FOR CONVENIENT AND MEMORABLE STAY IN YOGYAKARTA ? Definitely, stay in Marriott Yogyakarta. ✅️ Outstanding Service ✅️ Easy-to-access Location ✅️ Next to Mall (Pakuwon) ✅️ Big Rooms My family & I usually stay in T*ntr*m (been our no 1. option in Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Tangerang for a while), but considering NY traffic, decided hotel next to mall as safer option, and I think Marriott Yogya will be our no 1. option in Yogyakarta now. PRE-STAY Staying experience actually starts the second we finished the hotel reservation, maybe its long before we even arrive at the hotel. Most dont really optimize this. What I will highlight is Marriott really put my requests (birthday decor in specific room, connecting rooms) into the system, where everyone can check. From the one handling the WhatsApp to the receptionist the day we arrive, Ilham. And they execute my request really well. I've experienced some that forget my request and ended up decorating the wrong room, or not facilitating the request, even though they said they will facilitate. *see pic 8 - 11. It doesnt have to be expensive, businesses have to calculate the cost and margin. Whats important, for me, is put some effort into it. Its part of making the stay memorable. STAY I love it when : - the moment we arrive, the staff helps us by opening the car door, w/ the smile and greeting. Not from just one person, but every staff did the smile and greeting. - Ilham texted that the other room is ready. Most just rely on guest will be the one to follow up, but not Marriott. - we asked the way to mall entrance, the staff took us to the entrance, not just directing w/ hands. - they put anti-slip mat in shower area (pic 6), such a functional addition for safety. Because aesthetic needs to meet w/ function. - we went out at 8.30 in the morning for culinary & coffee around Yogyakarta and put the cleaning sign on, but forget to call, just to communicate that we want the room cleaned while we're out. 2,5 hours later when we're back, those 2 rooms are neat & tidy. Some hotels dont notice the difference those make for guest(s). These, for me, really help building the memorable staying exp. What more could I ask, Marriott Yogya 🫰🏻❤️ thank you"

"The moment I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the hotel staff's warmth and hospitality; the service was impeccable and excellent. Check-in was fast and efficient, and the room had a great view. The resort offers a wide range of activities, including swimming, a gym, cycling, and a spa, all within a beautiful, lush green environment that made my stay incredibly pleasant. The restaurant food was good, and while the breakfast selection wasn't huge, I really enjoyed the fruit. I especially loved the hotel bar – the drinks were great, and the service was warm and attentive. I was lucky enough to catch a live band on Friday, which was fantastic. Drinking and chatting with music in the background was so relaxing!"

"What a beautiful hotel! I enjoyed my stay and the large room with the amazing view of the Merapi volcano. I had a couple meals at the restaurant that were very good and a delicious breakfast box to-go one morning. The staff was excellent. Everyone at the reception desk was always helpful and warm. Chiara gave me superior concierge service with sightseeing help. I’m happy to recommend this hotel. Yet it’s necessary to realize that the hotel is an hour drive from the downtown and 1.5 hours from the international airport. It’s close for trips to Merapi and several temples, including Prambanan and Borobudur. But if you also want to visit sites in the downtown, you’ll be quite far away."

"This was the best hotel of our entire trip! I wasn't happy with the room type, but even though there was a charge, the front desk helped us switch rooms. I especially want to mention the photography session – the photographer was fantastic and took amazing pictures. Highly recommend!"

"The pros include a view of Mount Merapi and a swimming pool. The location isn't the most convenient if you want to explore the city. However, it's suitable for trips to temples and the mountain, with easy access to the ring road. The rooms look luxurious but are dusty. There is hot water."

"Hotel is not bad. Location is accessible,  But cleanliness wise still can do better. The Toilet , bathroom and balcony is not clean even after doing room service,  Furnishing is a little bit outdated. The room smells musky  The bellboy manning the drop off is not that good cos seeing me struggling with my luggage in the rain, he did not even offer to help despite having an umbrella. Did not even help us to open the door. Me and my partner struggle to bring our luggage up the slope, in the rain and drenched. Im not sure why, but for the 4 days 3 night im there, the doorbell didnt even offer to help or assist..  For a top 10 hotel in jogja, the bell boy can do better with service wise. But the Front desk and concierge is very friendly.."

"There are a lot of mosquitoes, so I wish there was mosquito repellent in each room. The light in the bathroom was broken and wouldn't turn on (it was fixed, though), so I think it should be checked beforehand. The food was varied and delicious, and the restaurant was clean and excellent. The staff were also very helpful."

"Here’s The property is quite old and is no longer under Sheraton management, which is noticeable throughout the hotel. The toilets and ceilings feel outdated and in need of renovation, and the same applies to the air conditioning system, which doesn’t perform up to expectations. That said, the staff are very cooperative, friendly, and always willing to help, which is definitely a positive aspect of the stay."
