"Really nice staff. Delicious breakfasts (but if you've prepaid for them to be included, confirm this at checkin). But seaview rooms are lacking. First one didn't have a toilet seat. Second one had a bad sewage smell the whole time. And no hot water in the shower. Nor soap by the sink."

"We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights only as a family of 2+2. Hotel contacted us in advance asking if we want sofa bed, it was very nice and in fact very handy to have as kids didn't fancy the bunk bed. The location is very good, the hotel is just by the beach. The sea was lovely but the beach was full of seaweed. Whole area was like this so not just the hotel issue. Hotel's pool was really nice. The hotel is just by the promenade full of souvenir stalls and bars/restaurants. I highly recommend pizzas at Ronny's. Apartment was nice and clean, we had a few bottles of fresh water left every day by the cleaning staff. There is aircon in each room working well. The kitchen is very basic, it lacked toaster and was short of cutlery, it would be nice to have a few more spoons. No hair dryers in the bathroom. We had a small balcony but sadly couldn't use it. It faced back of the hotel where someone was constantly burning trash. Not the fault of the hotel, just the general issue with rubbish being burned everywhere in Mexico. The breakfast was 199 mexican pesos and there is a selection of 4/5 choices. This is a really nice hotel for family stay with a medium size budget"

"I stayed at Hotel Pachamama in August 2025. Fantastic experience! The hotel is just a few steps from the beautiful Mahahual beach, right in the center filled with shops and restaurants. The staff is helpful and attentive, both to the guests’ needs and to the environment. A special mention goes to Micky for his kindness and availability: he recommended restaurants, exchange offices, grocery stores, and a laundry service. The rooms are super clean and comfortable (air conditioning and hot water always available). Each room also has a safe. I highly recommend this place!"

"Our experience in cabins has been very negative, mainly because of the total lack of will to help against a human error. We are wrong at the reservation date, something we assumed from the first moment, and we know perfectly the cancellation policies. The hotel was a hotel with a large availability and we were ready to pay a penalty of up to 50%. The only “alternative” offered was to repay the full room, making us believe it was a discount when it was exactly the same price already paid. Each establishment can choose how to manage such situations: help a customer who makes a point-on error or simply apply rules without any flexibility, even when the economic damage is minimal. In this case, they clearly chose not to help. We had to look for another hotel as an alternative, where they treated us with kindness and understanding. Finally, and independently of the above, during the time we were there, the facilities did not make us particularly attractive, and this establishment is among the few in the area that has no tumbles or chairs on the beach, The hotel is a very good place to enjoy the best service and the best service to help customers and people in general."
