Track and Trail River Camp

"Nous avons passé 6 nuits à Track and trail. Grâce à Peter et Andrew nous avons vécu des game drive d’exception, comme il y a 9 ans déjà avec eux grâce à leur grande connaissance du parc. Le personnel est sympathique, la propreté irréprochable et la restauration de grande qualité. Chichi est une hôtesse souriante et bienveillante. Ajoutons que le camp est situé à 5 minutes à peine de l’entrée du parc dans lequel on peut entrer les premiers. Peter est enfin un excellent photographe qui sait trouver l’exacte position du véhicule (très bien équipé pour les photographes) pour capter la meilleure lumière. Bref c’est une adresse incontournable pour visiter South Luangwa. We spent six nights at Track and Trail. Thanks to Peter and Andrew, we experienced exceptional game drives, just like we did nine years ago with them, thanks to their extensive knowledge of the park. The staff is friendly, the cleanliness impeccable, and the food excellent. Chichi is a smiling and welcoming hostess. The camp is also conveniently located just five minutes from the park entrance, allowing you to be among the first to enter. Peter is also an excellent photographer who knows exactly where to position the vehicle (which is very well-equipped for photographers) to capture the best light. In short, it's a must-stay for anyone visiting South Luangwa."

Flatdogs Camp

"Flatdogs without fail has been the most memorable Holiday we have ever experienced. It exceeded all of our expectations and we honestly loved every second of it. From the moment we arrived we were treated like old friends. Every staff member was so friendly, so kind and so attentive. End always with a smile. Our safari tent was comfortable, immaculately clean and spacious and overlooked the river. Listening to the sounds of hippos will stay with me forever. The restaurant was fabulous, great choices and great food and all in a beautiful setting. The wildlife viewing and guiding was just mind blowing. We were lucky enough to have 7 nights at Flatdogs and every drive was so memorable. We had the most amazing sightings and at times we hadn't even got down the drive out of Flatdogs to see something so exciting ( Leopard and 18 giraffe all 200m from reception!!! ). Camp Sabali

"Camp Sabali is a perfect place for a South Luangwe experience. The park is nearby. We have done several game drives: all very exciting, The guide was a real professional. He knows a lot and could easily find different game. The staff is friendly and attentive. We have had excellent diners and brunches. The chalets are both exotic and hygienic. Tasteful. We will definitely go back when we are in Zambia again."

Mopani Safari Lodge

"The lodge is located in a supreme location, with only the river separating it from the park. Rooms are very clean and housekeeping is very good. Food could be better, with limited options, and no alcohol on the premises. Staff very kind and dedicated. Rooms have incredible views of the wildlife. Overall, very good quality/price."

Shawa Luangwa Camp

"Had the most amazing safari while staying at the Shawa camp. From the welcome dance to the bespoke menu to the knowledgeable guides, we had the most intimate experience in the wild. True to their name, everything about the camp is Green, including the vehicles that are battery powered."
