"It’s a very beautiful place to stay! I have booked a family room for myself and it was awesome ! A lot of space after sleeping for a long time in dorms! I stayed five days. Vale is so fantastic! She was always helpful and all time available. I asked for a vegan breakfast and Vale organized it for me! The beach and the lighthouse is closed to the Hotel and a lot of Restaurants too."

"An incredible experience. From the coordination of transportation that awaited us at the airport and stopped at the Plaza Vea in Talara to pick up some supplies, to the welcome cocktail that awaited us upon arrival. A spacious room with everything you need, air conditioning, a minibar, a TV, and an incredible view of the Pacific Ocean. The big surprise came at lunchtime: unique and fresh dishes accompanied by Chilcano pisco sours, white and red wines, and cold beers! Having Javier as your chef is an advantage you should enjoy, as he continues the legacy of his mother, the great chef and pioneer of Peruvian gastronomy, Teresa Ocampo. Chef Javier, along with his wife Paola and daughter Cata, accompanied by a first-class team, make every detail count! We can't wait to return soon!"

"Room was not available, third party app was blamed, refund is being refused! We were stranded on New Year’s Day with no lodging and every other place in town sold out. This became a dangerous situation as we were dropped off and stuck carrying bags and luggage at a time when parties are raging throughout Mancora and we were lucky to not get robbed or killed.. thank you for nothing Ecolodge - jumping through hoops to get the money back is also a terrible way to conduct business, therefore I will post this on every other travel site possible as well. BE AWARE - they will give your room to someone else after you book and pay if it favors them in any possible way. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!"

"Beautiful place only a few steps off the beach. It is like a green oasis with a calm, tranquil atmosphere in the middle of a party town. Some of the spacious bungalows have private, well equipped kitchens and there is also a nice pool, hammocks and deckchairs. Edward, the manager keeps the place together with his family impeccable and also cares, together with the owner, for the friendly, abandoned animals that have found a safe place here."

"We booked this hotel for three nights and liked it so much that we booked it for another five. It was a great location and great staff. Our go to man was José, who seemed to be working all the time, he checked us in, cooked us breakfast and was at the door to let us in when we came back from dinner at night. He always had a smile on his face and he spoke English. We had a balcony room overlooking the ocean and it was quiet while we were there. We had to change rooms a couple of times, because of staying longer, which was fine. Good wifi, and good service. We are not surfers and the day we checked out it filled up so there was a lot more stir. Our flight out was not until 19:30 and they provided us with a room to shower and change at no extra cost. The price was descent and it was a very positive experience for finishing up a five week trip to Peru. Barry I would have no issue recommending this small hotel."
