Atzavara Hotel & Spa
8.3 (114 reviews)

Atzavara Hotel & Spa ★★★★★

📍 Carrer del Pla de la Torre, 16, Santa Susanna

"Excellent hotel with great pools, including one for adults and a saltwater option. The food is wonderful, everything is clean, and the staff are all excellent. The only downside was the sea; it was constantly wavy in this area, and getting into the water was inconvenient. There's no private beach, and the public one is poorly equipped. To get to it, you have to go through an underpass and walk around a campsite."

New Hotel Colon

New Hotel Colon ★★★

📍 8, Carrer de Cristòfor Colom, 6, Mataro

"Excellent hotel, I am very glad that I chose it. Large rooms, with a balcony, clean, cozy, good repair, bathroom, bedding. Breakfasts are simply amazing, for 12 euros. Huge buffet, with jamon, good cheeses, sausages. Pastries, freshly squeezed juice, coffee machine, various fruits. We ate enough for the whole day. Barcelona is 35 minutes by bus, the beach is 200 meters away. The staff is friendly, special thanks to Andreas. The best option. We will stay there again."

Hotel Sorli Emocions ★★★★
"The environment of the hotel is quite good and the rooms are relatively large. There is a swimming pool, but it was probably a bit cold when I went there and I didn't encounter anyone using it. Breakfast is allocated. If it is self-service, it is estimated that there will be less waste."

Continental Calella ★★
"Unacceptable! Beware! Scam! We booked three nights at this hotel, specifying by email that we would arrive around 2 or 3 AM (arriving by plane). They confirmed 24-hour reception! We arrived at 2:30 AM! They refused to let us in! And they rented the rooms to other guests!!! Even though the rooms had already been paid for. This is unacceptable! The "receptionist" left us with absolutely NO solutions! He "apologized" without giving us any answers. He also told us to come back the next day for a refund with his "Boss," who started at 3 PM! We found ourselves at 3 AM without water! Trying to find another hotel to avoid sleeping four to a car! I strongly advise you NOT to book at this hotel; professionalism and respect are completely absent. Absolutely! The "boss" did not contact us to at least (in my opinion) apologize and find a solution for the 3 nights."

"Absolutely perfect experience. Late check in and great instructions and digital key cards. Very clean and comfortable rooms and bed. I only stayed two nights and wish it had been more. Staff extremely friendly and professional. Hotel is very central and close to beach. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to try Spa. Would highly recommend this hotel"
