"We stayed in the McDowall Cottage, beautiful, free and quiet, and when we arrived we had some small initial problems with the equipment but these were quickly and properly remedied by Nan. We were not present at the castle, even as it was announced, and we received a emergency number of the person we could call, and we did not use this. The information was sufficiently available to you what you could do in the surroundings and where the food facilities were. We felt that weekend as temporary residents of this property the Lord & Lady of Blairquhan Castle. Therefore, have had a nice long weekend."
