"Very disappointing for a four star hotel, do not recommend. Room is fine, but assigned to a room with no shower, just a tub! Furthermore, there is a ring of mold around the tub. No flexibility to change rooms. A/C barely working and Wifi is in and out. Pretty disappointing."

"Such a lovely place to stay. You will need a small car to go through the narrow gate into the old town of Mazan but Eric and Agnes will make sure you have a place to park. They are superb hosts who really look after their guests and pay attention to all the details. We loved our large room off the Library and played snooker/pool in the evenings. We adored the relaxing garden with a gloriously warm swimming pool. I was straight in to that within an hour of arrival and we used it every day of our May stay. Dinner was cooked by Eric on our first day and was delicious, as was the breakfast served by Agnes. Try Eric's special spiced scrambled eggs. All items were seasonal and local and we loved the way it was varied each morning. The other nights we ate in the town, booked by Agnes and Eric on their recommendations. You will not see many tourists here and it is on the edge of such a great wine area. A base for Gordes, the "Lavender route", Mt Ventoux, the wines of the Vaucluse and the edges of the Luberon. Perfect for walkers, cyclists and anyone else who loves La Belle France. Ask Agnes to tell you the story of the house and garden. Merci beaucoup, Agnes et Eric from Una and David."

"Our hosts Francoize and Damian were very welcoming. We had the apartment for 10 days as it was our base for the region. On arrival we were a bit surprised with the state of the garden lounges and chairs as we walked to our apartment. The outdoor pillows were dirty and the chair near our apartment littered with leaves and dust. It was never cleaned during our entire stay. On entering the apartment it was particularly dark in the kitchen living area. The kitchen was not well stocked with utensils or crockery …. 3 very small old wine glasses, 3-4 plates, 2 bowls and an odd collection of a few drinking glasses. We had to ask for a bread knife and there were no salad servers. There was not one sharp knife to cut cheese effectively. The oven door had a cobweb in between the glass and the oven tray was splattered with oil. Definitely not conducive to any major cooking. The couch in the living area was extremely uncomfortable. Not even a comfortable chair to sit on! Upstairs the bedroom was large and more comfortable yet there was no light in the shower and no hooks to hang used towels. The toilet door squeaked so that if you got up in the middle of the night you would wake your partner. The airconditioning in the bedroom was good and the cool air managed to filter to the downstairs area. We had two lovely evening meals which Francoize prepared yet we had to avoid the mosquitos, which were everywhere in the garden and outdoor area. The whole place could do with a cleanup, scrubbing of cushion on lounges and chairs and a good replenishment of utensils, crockery and equipment in the apartment. The family was very pleasant but on our departure there was no “thank you for staying with us” ….. just Au Revoir."
