"This hotel is situated in a beautiful coastal area with two other hotels close by. My room , on the 5th floor had superb views over the bay, There is no swimming pool at this hotel although there are places nearby where you can enter the sea, no sand , just pebbles. I was staying half board. The dining experience was deplorable. The room resembled a school canteen and the food was mediocre. Sitting outside in the courtyard was a slight improvement but there was no pleasure eating there. The staff did their best , but for a supposed 4 * hotel they need to completely upgrade the dining room."

"The Service of the Hotel was very friendly, fast and professional. The Service of the Restaurant was very bad. The Guy who served us had any problem with us and let us wait very long. Another Guest who had the same dishes come later and be finish earlier. In the Evening, the food was also nothing Special. The Breakfast was very nice. Our Bed was hard like a German old Bread and I can’t sleep and got backpain. The location at Google map was 600m wrong."

"The most beautiful and pleasant hotel I have been to and I travel a lot! Very beautiful design, a magnificent and calming setting, the staff is very pleasant and the breakfast is excellent (in the form of a menu and not a buffet). Breakfast on the terrace with swallow ballet and a view of the sea, a truly relaxing stay. Having a drink at the bar in the evening on the terrace is also very pleasant! We had hesitated with other hotels, some from the same hotel chain and I am really happy to have chosen this one! The nature that surrounds it is a huge asset that cannot be found elsewhere. If I have to come back to Croatia, I would take this one again without hesitation. Thank you for these 10 unforgettable days!"

"I was somewhat taken aback by your email. I will address your points below. 1. This room has two windows, one is in the bedroom and this one is on your picture, Second window is In living room and has a direct sea view, no wall view. - This is not a sea view. This is a view with a little bit of water in it. I ask you to visit rooms with true sea views and you will notice the difference. The people viewing reviews online can judge for themselves. 2. We are suprised by your claim about constant noise during the night because of cleaning activites and general foot traffic in the reception area. First because you didn't mentioned it during your stay and during check-out, and second reason is because we never clean during the night and only one receptionist is in the reception area in this time and there is no possibility of any traffic on the reception. - There are c. Four rooms next to reception. The halls echo. To us it sounded like cleaning. If it was not cleaning, then I advise your staff to be more quiet at night. 3. Puteus Palace is situated near the main church and as Croatia is catholic country so the local habit is that church bell are ringing every hour from 6 am – 11 pm to present time of the day and on Sudays they ring longer to celebrate mass. As you came on Sunday evening to the reception and claimed about bell ringing it was explained it to you that on Sunday the bells ring a bit longer during the day. - it was explained after check out. I advise you inform guests prior to check in. 4. Our receptionist offered you ear plugs which you refused and you decided to check out on this evening. - I use these words cautiously - whoever informed you of this has lied to you. We were not offered ear plugs. In any case ear plugs would have made no difference. I advise you make this clearer on your website. 5. Our receptionist offered you twice assistance with the luggage wich you refused as well. - I would not have provided this feedback if it was not true. It appears that you are calling me a liar which I take great offence to. No assistance was offered. I am appalled that this is your reply. I would have been fine to carry my luggage but you let my girlfriend carry her luggage alone without assistance. I do not expect any compensation for what was a hugely disappointing stay. Your email has magnified what are glaring inadequacies in your offering. Thank you for taking the time to reply but I find your reply totally inadequate and inaccurate."
