"Lanting Garden Hotel saved my trip to Mojiang. I didn’t expect there is such a sophisticated hotel here. The environment is elegant, there are pleasing green plants outside the window, and the layout and lighting of the room are more humane. The breakfast options are quite rich. The female staff in the breakfast room is very dedicated and takes care of everyone's needs. When she sees a child getting food by himself, she will kindly and proactively help. The front desk is also very professional. Whether you ask for paper cups or mineral water, they will meet your requests quickly and considerately, which is great. Recommended to everyone going to Mojiang."

"I had to stay here to understand why there are so many negative reviews online. Pros: The lobby decor is decent, the bedding is good and looks clean. The receptionist was very friendly. Cons: I stayed for two days, and it felt like living in a nursing home. I don't mean to disparage the elderly; in fact, they were all quite enthusiastic. But for the most expensive hotel in Mojiang, having guests constantly surrounded by many seniors... it's a strange feeling. I was afraid of bumping into them, especially with kids around. The lobby was full of seniors chatting and playing cards at tables. In the mornings, they'd play music and do exercises in the courtyard very early. On the day of check-in, it was already four or five in the afternoon, and the room had just been cleaned, making the floor very wet and slippery. I stayed for two consecutive nights, and they didn't even clean the room or replenish basic supplies in between. When I called to ask, they said I needed to inform them in advance if I wanted housekeeping! I've never encountered such a situation in all the hotels I've stayed in; it was truly an eye-opener. It felt less like a Wyndham and more like a wellness center. The hotel is located within a residential complex, next to a tourist attraction."

"It was a random hotel, but the stay experience was very good: the foot bath and clothes hanging area in the room showed care, and it was also close to the highway intersection. There were not many restaurants open during the Spring Festival holiday, but there was a night market just a few minutes' walk away, and the front desk was very considerate and printed out some information for us. There is local specialty peanut soup for breakfast, but I still want to suggest adding a freshly ground coffee machine and a bread machine, and adding some bacon, chicken popcorn, etc. to the variety. "The location is right at the entrance of the Tropic of Cancer Park, very easy to find. I don’t know if there were a lot of people that day, but I called to reserve two single rooms. When I got to the front desk, I was told that they were sold out and the reservation made over the phone was invalid and I had to book online. Later, a group of customers came and booked family rooms online, but we didn't reserve it for them and instead upgraded them. I asked the front desk, the room type I reserved is sold out, are there any other room types? She answered me as if it didn't matter whether she stayed or not, as the hotel would be fully booked today: We still have standard rooms, but they don't have balconies. There were indeed a lot of guests. I don’t know if she was receiving a tour group, but when other people came, she became very enthusiastic and gave them very detailed introductions, but ignored us. Well, I booked two standard rooms online, and she was extremely cold. After checking us in, they pushed us away. After entering the room, it felt clean and tidy, but the next second I found that the two bottles of water in the room were empty. I could understand not putting water in them, but leaving two empty bottles there made me seriously doubt whether the room had been carefully cleaned. I called the hotel's service number, but it was busy. I had to go downstairs to find the front desk, who also said in a very impatient manner that maybe the cleaning lady didn't notice when she cleaned the room, or maybe someone else drank the water after she cleaned it, and they would change my room. Do you want to listen to what you are saying? What does "the cleaning lady's food was drunk by other people after she cleaned" mean? I am really speechless. "First of all, when I arrived to communicate with the front desk clerk, she was doing her job while I was waiting for her with my eyes wide open, and her attitude was not good either. Parking is not easy either, either you can't get out or it's very crowded. The air conditioner in the room stinks, it smells like urine. I asked the front desk to come and take a look, and they told me that it was like that, maybe it hasn't been cleaned for a long time... The hair dryer died after one minute, and I had to wait 10 minutes before I could use it again. The room rate is not cheap, in that county town. The TV remote control was also not working. The front desk was very reluctant to deal with it. In the end, they found that the usable one was not in the room, and the one in the room was not working. Can the device be updated? We went there at 9:30 for breakfast, and there was basically nothing left, so we just ate it. However, if your room is full, you can't prepare more, because there will be many more people coming later and you won't know what to eat. Someone arrived at 9:57, and the auntie in the restaurant said that we closed at 10 o'clock and would not provide any other food except rice noodles. The problem is that your breakfast promise is served until 10 o'clock, and you must have every item before 10 o'clock. You have to clean up everything on time at 10 o'clock. If I say one more word, I'm sick. The check-in experience was quite poor."
