"This is a wonderful little hotel run by lovely, friendly people. We really enjoyed our two nights here. It is spotlessly clean. There is a beautiful, relaxed feeling. It is set in a superb location in the Schwarzwald with lots of scenic drives nearby. The meals are delicious and so is the beer. We highly recommend this property."

Hotel-Gasthof Rose ★★★
"We've been here three times already, and this time was unfortunately the last! I have to revise my positive review from 2023! While I understand that there were Christmas parties in the building and the resulting stress for the staff... However, hotel guests shouldn't be forgotten and should be treated with respect and courtesy! Or they shouldn't accept any more guests, which is another option! After we politely inquired after 1 hour and 20 minutes when we could expect our food, the server became incredibly rude – we've never experienced anything like it, and it's completely unacceptable! This isn't a fast-food joint, but a relatively high-priced restaurant! It's all about the way you treat someone!"
